wasn't overly impressed by the destinations but the tour guide Anya was awesome and made the day allot of fun, The tour ran an extra hour longer then it was supposed too and she didn't rush us because of it. She also took us to a great Tappas resturaunt for lunch. Anya rocked the day!

Aña was a wonderful driver and guide to the white villages. It was so interesting learning about the history and customs of the villages. We were fortunate that there was a Middle Ages festival going on in the first village we visited. There was a lot of walking uphill. One passenger waited in the village when he felt it was too much for him which worked out great. I highly recommend doing this tour.
Meeting Anja you feel that it will be a delightful day. We loved her enthusiasm and easy going manner. She made this tour a memorable experienced. Thank you Anja ❤️. Mario & Debbie
On the way we stopped for a typical breakfast of molletes (special rolls), tomato, olive oil and salt and continued on to Ronda and other villages. We drove through many hills of olive groves and learned about other local crops. The village streets were quaint and had many twists and turns. Our guide Anja was very knowledgeable and attentive. She took us to a local restaurant in one of the villages and helped us order tapas that were very delicious. The last village was built into the side of a mountain. It was a wonderful tour and I highly recommend her as a guide.
This is a full day of fascinating places. A fair bit of walking in the sun, but the views are absolutely worth the little bit of effort. Our guide Anja was lovely - relaxed, friendly and knowledgable, she ensured that everyone was engaged and made sure of great photo opportunities. A really great way to spend the day and get some historical context of three amazing places. On the way back, Anja drove us through some spectacular scenery. An experience worth every penny!
We travelled with six others in a minibus - an ideal size for a personal touch yet benefitting from the savings and the caneraderie of a small group. We represented four different nationalities. It's a long day and currently a little longer because some of the roads are bring repaired after floodwater this winter. Anja was always very informative and marshalled us very well. She was a mine of information about the landscape and the white villages. The three villages on her trip: Ronda, Zahara ( currently also a film set) and Setenil - are all spectacular in their own ways. Our first stop was for breakfast South Spsin country style. This was lovely for a change ( though I won't be dropping my normal muesli!). Regard it as Brunch as it was about 1000 before we arrived. The pick up was straightforward and if you're travelling from the South of the city the no34 bus gets you there. All in all I highly recommend Anjas trip.
Today was an incredible day! Anja is an incredible tour guide! So friendly, positive, patient and informative! Learned so much about the Zahara, Rhonda and Sentinel de Bodegas. Perfect day from beginning to end!
What a fabulous day! This tour of the White Villages with Anja was like meeting up with a friend of a friend who couldn't wait to share all the secrets of the area. The breakfast was a great start to the day and it got better with fantastic scenery and exploring each village. The restaurant she recommended for lunch was excellent where we got to try different tapas and were made to feel like locals! Anja offers a unique and exceptional experience.
Anja was an amazing guide, and having a full day planned by her was such a great addition to my time in Sevilla. Getting out of the city and exploring the smaller towns gave me a completely different perspective on Andalusia. Anja knows so much about the region’s history and took us to some incredible viewpoints overlooking the villages and landmarks. I especially loved that we started with breakfast together which is a thoughtful touch and, as a solo traveler, a wonderful way to meet others in the group. The pace throughout the day was just right, with a nice balance of guided walking and free time to explore on our own. One tip: I went on a Monday, when quite a few cafés and lunch spots are closed, so choices were more limited, but we still had options. If you have an extra day in Sevilla and want to experience more of Andalusia, this is a fantastic way to do it with Anja as your guide!
This tour was absolute perfection and easily one of the highlights of our entire stay in Seville! Anja was an incredible guide: exceptionally knowledgeable about the area, great at answering questions, and wonderful at keeping a perfect relaxed pace throughout the day. Our trip started with a delicious traditional Andalusian breakfast, and later Anja recommended a fantastic spot for lunch that we loved. Exploring the three white villages was a dream; each one was unique with its own distinct charm. We cannot recommend this trip highly enough. If you are in Seville, don't miss it! Anya does other tours in Andalusia. I would recommend searching for her company (Anja Adventures) on either TripAdvisor or Viator.
A great day, fabulous tour, enhanced by having just a small group. Anja our guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and thoughtful, making a great day even better. Breakfast was a lovely experience at a quiet peaceful location. The countryside and villages are beautiful along with the Rhonda Bridge. This trip is well worth doing.
We had an absolutely wonderful day exploring the beautiful Andalusian region, including the stunning town of Ronda and the charming white villages. Anja was a fantastic guide friendly, knowledgeable, welcoming and passionate about the area. She shared fascinating information about the history, culture and traditions of Andalusia, making the experience both enjoyable and memorable. The small-group format was perfect, allowing us to take our time, enjoy the breathtaking scenery and really appreciate the beauty of the region. The traditional Andalusian breakfast was a lovely touch and added to the authentic experience. Everything was well organised, and Anja made us feel comfortable and looked after throughout the day. It was a full day, but absolutely worth it! I would highly recommend Anja Adventures to anyone visiting Seville who wants to discover the incredible beauty of Ronda and the white villages. A truly memorable experience! 🌞🇪🇸
Anja is a fabulous, knowledgeable and empathetic guide who went out of her way to make the day enjoyable for the whole group - adapting plans when needed and making sure we had free time to explore as well as being shown highlights and hearing the fascinating history of the towns and villages on the tour. We were lucky to be in a small group of 5 - making for good company and a very comfortable drive in the wonderfully air-conditioned minivan. Anja kindly made sure breakfast allowed for my non-gluten diet and took care to keep us in the shade and well-hydrated on a very hot day.
Lovely tour covering 3 very different White Villages. Anja was a great driver cum guide with a wealth of information. Took care of us very well as the heat was blistering and making sure to keep us in shaded areas as much as possible. She also took us to two lovely restaurants for breakfast and lunch which had delicious local food. I'd highly recommend this trip but probably in cooler weather for maximum enjoyment! Thanks Anja for a great day!
Great experience, a lot of driving as expected, but certainly met our expectations, would recommend to anyone, would love to have spent more time in the area, will come back for sure.
We got to see some beautiful cities with unique attributes around Sevilla! Our guide Anja was friendly and informative, but there were a few things we would have preferred to do differently. Zahara de la Sierra was pretty, but it was too hot to visit the medieval Moorsh fort at the peak and we spent a lot of time in the village when we would have liked more in Setenil, with the buildings build into the gorge. Ronda was beautiful but some of the group did not want to walk down to the old bridge so extra time was spent to split up and rejoin before lunch The lunch restaurant had excellent tapas and is one of the better lunch spots we've had on a tour! The main issue was the car. We had 8 adults in our tour group, which meant the 9 seat van was completely packed. My wife and I got stuck in the front, since I am tall and she is small. Those seats were extra hot since those windows are not shaded like the rear seats, but even in the back everyone was packed in. The middle front seat my wife was stuck in is not suited for anyone except maybe children, with no room for feet and legs. Both of us ended up with back pain from the uncomfortable seats, which is making travel the next day uncomfortable as well.
This was, without a doubt, my favorite excursion of our entire trip. We spent three weeks exploring the Andalucía region and did many tours, but this one stood out above the rest. If you're considering it, book it—you won't regret it. The tour does involve a moderate amount of walking, especially in Zahara, but it's clearly stated in the description. Everything we saw made the walking completely worthwhile. I was traveling with friends who are all 65+, and they had no trouble keeping up. Visiting these beautiful white villages with Anja made me fall even more in love with Andalucía. She was knowledgeable, engaging, and helped make the experience truly memorable. The breakfast and lunch stops (at your own expense) were excellent choices. The van was clean, comfortable, and in fantastic condition. We visited during the height of their heat wave, but thanks to the comfortable transportation and well-planned itinerary, the heat was never an issue. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience the charm and beauty of Andalucía's white villages.
Anje was fantastic guide, personable, patient, friendly and full of information on the sights we saw. Lovely breakfast in charming and peaceful spot, delicious lunch as well. In addition to the three villages, had beautiful views of the countryside as we traveled. The small group size was perfect, eight guests in all. Highly recommend this tour, especially with Anje.
A great tour of Ronda and the White Villages. Our tour tour guide Anja was knowledgeable about the history of all the places we visited. She make excellent food recommendations and offered to take pictures. I highly recommend her and this tour!
Anja was super nice! I highly recommend the trip. Only the weather is super hot, so make sure you bring your bottle and stay hydrated!
Anja was wonderful. We had a great day traveling through the countryside and visiting 3 beautiful and unique locations.
HIGHLY recommended! We had a GREAT time recently with Anja and found her quite impressive (and also very easy on the eyes!). We actually had booked another tour but cancelled when we saw all the positive reviews about Anja -- so we re-booked directly on her site. As of May 2026 it was 120 Euros -- but for that you get a smaller group (no more than 8 people) and expert tips, and information about three villages -- Zahara, Sentenil, and Ronda -- all beautiful and worth visiting. Anja does the driving in her roomy van and we loved our first stop at a local place on the way for a typical Andalusian breakfast. There is a good amount walking during the day -- but if you are not fit enough, there are places you can wait and enjoy the scenery (or a coffee) while waiting for the others. The sites you see are really breathtaking and this certainly was one of the highlights of our two week stay in Spain. Gracias Anja -- you are the best!
Great tour! Well worth doing to see stunning locations you can see nowhere else. The ride to the 1st village was broken up by having breakfast at a cool place with authentic Spanish breakfast, then on to the first white village. All 3 locations visited (2 villages and Ronda) were spectacular in their own way. I kept taking pictures knowing that there is no way they would do them justice. Our guide, Anja, was great. She had a really thorough knowledge of each location as well as Spanish and Andalusian history. We decided to have lunch as a group (not included) and the place she recommended was fantastic for a really reasonable price. Ronda is a touristy place but the restaurant seemed really local. Long day-9:30 pickup and 7:00 drop off-but SO worth it! Do yourself a favor and do it Bonus points if you get Anja!
Exceptional day trip. The villages were each unique in their own way. Anja was an friendly informative tour guide, English was excellent. Well worth the trip.
Anja was an amazing guide. I would highly reccomend this tour. The small group was great, the breakfast delicious, the places we visited , the views from the car on the way to the destinations were beautiful.
Fabulous tour. Anja is knowledgeable, friendly, and laid back. She provided great communication, smooth and scenic travels, interesting and relevant commentary (without boring or overwhelming us). She brought us to an excellent authentic tapas place in Ronda- one of the best meals of our trip. Highly recommend!
The trip overall was very good and our guide was also very informative and helpful. We stopped off for a traditional Spanish breakfast; I am gluten free, so the breakfast was not suitable for me. On this particular trip, you need to be able to walk and to be able to walk uphill, quite steeply. We were hoping to see the bullring, but because there was quite highish winds, it was closed. We also went for a Spanish lunch, at our own expense; That was very nice. Everyone on the trip got on very well, which is just as well, because the vehicle for the amount of people it took was was quite compact; transport could have been better
We had a wonderful day touring with Anya as our guide. The scenery, white villages and food were all fantastic. Highly recommend!
Our guide and driver, Anya, was the perfect leader to show this region of Spain. She shared her deep knowledge of local history and related so well to everyone and demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of each person in the group. Our family had a wonderful time and appreciated the small group size.
Small group, Anja's knowledgeable and pleasant company, and breakfast and lunch together made the experience more like a trip with good friends than a tour. Visiting just two of the white villages plus Ronda made for a relaxed, enjoyable pace but still gave us a good feel for the region. HIghly recommend!
This was one of the best tours we’ve ever done - and Anja was the best tour guide we’ve had on the tour. She was so welcoming and so full of knowledge about all things in the region. Made doe great discussions during the drives and at the stops. I highly recommend this tour!
Lovely day spent exploring the Andalusian countryside! Anja was very knowledgeable and took us to 3 distinct spots all them unique and full of history and beauty. It was about 2-2.5 hrs each way. Really enjoyed the breakfast and the company in our group. In all, was definitely worth the trip!
Anja is lovely and takes care of everything — smooth journey using the scenic routes, excellent coordination of the various stops and activities, tickets included — and the day went by in a flash! The breakfast was a really nice touch and a great moment to connect as a group; it also meant we just had to roll out of bed in the morning instead of rushing, as the tour starts at 9am (do grab a coffee, though!). For lunch, we did tapas in one of Ronda’s backstreets. And then we were home by 19:30! Anja speaks perfect English and Spanish and is incredibly knowledgeable. Many thanks for creating such a unique day in the beautiful white villages of Andalusia :)
Anya was simply fantastic. Very knowledgeable, clearly committed to providing you with an authentic experience. The sights and photo ops were beyond our expectations. The light breakfast was perfect. The lunch in a restaurant situated beneath a rock formation was world class. If you are looking for a day tour you MUST go with Anya.
Our small group (3 of us), full day tour to Ronda and Sentinel etc. was absolutely outstanding. Our guide/driver Anja was exceptionally knowledgeable in every aspect. Above all, and most importantly…., we had the extreme privilege of getting to know a genuine kind spirited individual who will remain in our hearts forever. Thank You Anja 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
A perfect experience that I warmly recommend to everyone. Starting with a wonderful breakfast in an authentic Andalusian setting. Simply fantastic! Anja is also an outstanding guide and a wonderful person who made this special experience even more complete. A strong recommendation for anyone who wants to experience Andalusia away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
We had a small group of six people plus Anja which was a perfect size and we all got along so well, ( bonus ) Anja our tour guide was ,very personable, well informed of the history of the area and did a good job explaining it all to us. We had a breakfast and lunch stop where Anja introduced us to some of the local cuisine ,Food was over the top and lots of it. Well worth the cost of this excursion.
This was the best experience on our whole 10 day trip in Spain! Anya was an amazing tour guide, knowing the best places to take us to really experience the white villages. She also had the best restaurants!!! We loved her and every minute we spent. Don't think twice- book this tour!!
A relaxed tour covering Zahara, Setenil and Ronda. Great food, knowledgeable guide, no pressure. Loved it!
This tour is a must book! Anja, the tour guide, is just wonderful. You can tell she is invested in her work and she goes out of her way to make sure the experience is good for everyone. The white villages are worth seeing themselves but having a knowledgeable person who lives in the area with you makes all of the difference. She selected restaurants for us that were delicious, made recommendations on the food... the breakfast that she starts the tour with is delicious and a really nice start to the day. This is also a small group tour, we had only seven people on our tour, and that makes the experience so much better than the big bus tours we have been on. I can't recommend this enough. It's worth every penny you spend on the tour. It was probably one of the best tours we've taken like this in a European city.
The day began with a short drive to a nice restaurant in Cadiz for an Andalusian traditional breakfast, the olive oil was really good! Anja was punctual, courteous and friendly. The next stop was in Zahara Castle with breathtaking views of the reservoir and the surrounding mountains. The climb was spectacular, be prepared to walk quite a bit, but it’s worth it! Then we proceeded to Setenil de las Bodegas - better than what we saw on pictures. She organized an awesome spot for lunch for the whole group… literally under the rock. From there we headed to Ronda and its famous bridge which was a sight to behold. Throughout the tour Anja shared with us the history of all the landmarks and provided additional insights to all our questions. Overall, this tour was a highlight of our stay in Andalusia! - Malika and Anthony
We are a family of four. Anja was a wonderful and gracious guide to both our family and the other that joined. We absolutely loved each village as well as the breakfast and lunch. Anja timed everything well, was knowledgeable and kindly answered all of our questions. We highly recommend this tour!
I've been meaning to write this review for months about our tour guide Anya. My mom and I went on the tour of Ronda and the other white Wall towns. Anya Is it great guide and really took care of the whole group. She primarily does small group tours, which makes it really easy to get the information that you want and to get in-n-out of the vehicle with a smaller number of people. It is a long day tour but totally worth it and great stops for breakfast and lunch. My mom is a pretty fit 80 year old and was able to make it to the top of the Zahara castle! The towns are beautiful and the castle is worth it with a cute little town attached.
Enjoyed this day trip very much. Visited three different places, each one unique and amazing. Anja is wonderful, and the tour was balanced with activities and free time.
As far as I am concerned, Anja Adventures is THE only way to visit the White Villages. The villages we visited were Zahara de la Sierra with its prominent Moorish tower and stunning hilltop views, Setenil de las Bodegas and its unique construction built into the rocks and of course, Ronda and its dramatic cliff side location. The extras included a fabulous breakfast at very non touristy restaurant (wonderful), a hike up to see the Moorish tower (we did not see any other tour groups), lunch in Setenil de las Bodegas at a wonderful terrace restaurant (you pay for your lunch) and free time in Rhonda to wander at your leisure. Anja was knowledgeable and super fun. The whole experience was first rate. Anja really understands what tourists want and how to make the entire trip enjoyable as well as educational. I cannot recommend Anja Adventure enough. Thanks again Anja!! Deborah
One of the BEST tours I have been on. The tour was a small group tour, very organized, punctual, very informative. From beginning to end, we enjoyed every minute. It was an authentic experience we will never forget, thanks to our tour guide Ari. I highly recommend this tour.
If you only go on one trip, then choose this one. We had a wonderful tour of 3 beautiful places with Anja who is friendly, knowledgeable, very organised and professional but best of all obviously enjoys showing people the beauty of the area. Moreover she also created a lovely atmosphere for all of us in the group to feel comfortable. We would give 10stars if possible!
We had a lovely day with Anja. She was so knowledgeable and personable. We highly recommend her for anyone wishing to explore this area of Andalusia. It was a great trip!
Big thanks to Anja for fun, informative and pleasurable day visiting the most beautiful sites and villages of the Spain. From best food options advised by Anja to the most unique places you can see in the world, this tour was a gem.
I really enjoyed my trip to white villages and Ronda guided by the wonderful professionals Driss and Pia! The way they introduced the site was beautiful! They also have a high sense of responsibility and respect. I will recommend them this company as a high standards of service provider!
