Our experience with Naturanda Turismo was absolutely fantastic, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Alvaro. He drove our private group of seven (ages 6 to 42) from Seville to Tarifa for our ferry to Morocco, and from the very beginning, he made the journey enjoyable and stress-free. During the 2½-hour drive, Alvaro was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing insights about the cities we passed through and explaining their history and what they're known for. It really added depth to the trip and kept everyone engaged. He was also very thoughtful—he kindly offered restroom stops along the way and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. As we approached Tarifa, Alvaro went the extra mile by passing by a historical site so we could get a closer look, which was a nice unexpected touch. We even had time to stop at a local coffee shop before heading to the ferry. Before we boarded, he gave us clear and detailed instructions about what to expect—how to meet the representative at the Morocco port, the timing we needed to follow to catch our return ferry, and what the process would look like. He also explained that we would be given green stickers so our tour guide could easily recognize us upon arrival in Morocco. Additionally, he reassured us that he would be waiting in Tarifa for our return and would be just a phone call away if we needed anything. I initially had some concerns about doing a day trip to Morocco and feeling rushed, but Alvaro completely put those worries at ease. He assured us that we wouldn't feel rushed and that their team would handle all the logistics so we could simply enjoy the experience—and that's exactly how it felt. The ferry ride itself was smooth and not too crowded, allowing us to move around and enjoy the journey. One important tip: make sure to fill out your entry form for Morocco while on the ferry—otherwise, border patrol may send you back to complete it. Once we arrived, our local guide (Muneer—apologies if I misspelled it) was waiting for us inside and recognized us right away by the green stickers we were wearing. We quickly got into our van and began our adventure. Both our guide and driver in Morocco were patient, friendly, and welcoming. Every person we encountered made us feel at ease. Our return journey was also smooth, although once entering Tarifa, the line to get back into Spain was longer than expected. Despite this, Alvaro was patiently waiting for us right where he said he would be and called us to. make sure we were ok. On the drive back, he asked us all about our experience, and we were able to share our favorite moments with him—it truly felt like he was sincerely excited for us. He also took the time to connect with my son, who lives in Spain. They talked about futbol and Alvaro even gave him additional recommendations, which was such an added bonus and a very thoughtful touch. My husband and I were truly in awe of the experience, and our children (ages 6, 11, 17, and 20) loved every moment. My cousin also accompanied us, and in her words, it was a magical trip. Our only regret is not staying longer! We will absolutely be back—next time for the 4-day package.

The trip on March 19 was extremely poorly organized. We spent far more time on transportation than on sightseeing. We are a family of four (two adults and two children, ages 13 and 10). The cost of this one-day trip was over €736, which is completely unjustified given the experience. We departed Seville on time in the morning. During the 2.5-hour bus ride, the tour guide did not provide any information or commentary at all—she only took photos of our passports (later in the trip, she claimed she is only an intern and just notified by the company to take us to the Tarifa port). Upon arrival at the port in Tarifa, we were informed that we had missed the 11:00 a.m. ferry and had to wait for the next one. As a result, we did not arrive in Tangier until around 1:00 p.m. The trip description on Naturanda’s website is highly exaggerated and misleading. The camel ride, in particular, was disturbing—the camels looked unhealthy and smelled terrible. I would not recommend this experience to anyone. Lunch was one of the worst parts of the trip. We were expecting an authentic Moroccan meal, but it was extremely disappointing. The soup was only a few sips, the chicken skewer was dry and flavorless, and the couscous—Morocco’s national dish—was tasteless. To make matters worse, one plate of couscous had to be shared with other group members (complete strangers), which made us very uncomfortable. The restaurant staff also behaved unprofessionally and felt like scammers. They attempted to charge us for mint tea (also only a few sips), which the tour guide had explicitly said was free. We were still hungry afterward and had to order pizza from a nearby café. The worst experience was the return trip to Spain. The Moroccan tour guide told us that the ferry from Tangier Ville was canceled and that we had to go to Tangier Med instead. He said that hopefully there would be a ferry available. We were had to take a 40-minute bus ride to Tangier Med. At the port, we waited 3–4 hours to board the ferry, followed by another 2 hours before departure. There was no food or drinking water available, and it was very cold. This was an extremely stressful situation, especially with two minors. At that moment, I deeply regretted bringing my children on this trip. We finally arrived in Algeciras at 2:00 a.m. the NEXT DAY, in heavy rain. The Naturanda van did not even come to the exit to pick us up. We were exhausted and frustrated. It then took another 2.5 hours to return to Seville. We ARRIVED SEVILLE at 5 AM in the morning!!! In summary: 1. The trip was poorly organized and lacked basic communication. No one kept us informed, and no one apologized for the inconvenience. 2. The situation felt unsafe. If there had been no ferry, we could have been stranded in Morocco overnight with two children. 3. The trip completely ruined the following day due to exhaustion. 4. Zero value for money I would never recommend this tour company to anyone!!!
Pia was AMAZING!! Such a treat to help guide us to get to and from Morocco. As well as Rasheed, who was the guide once we got to Morocco. Would definitely recommend.
An experience we won't forget, and just a short ferry ride across from Spain. Our Moroccan guide was humorous, knowledgeable and protective. We learned a great deal from his narrative. We were delighted to see the meeting of the North Atlantic and Mediterranean seas. We were overwhelmed by the hawkers, who would not take no for an answer and very wary of the pick pocketers who were looking for opportunities whilst following on our walks.
Juanra was an exceptional tour guide on our family’s day trip to Morocco. The tour exceeded expectations and we all had a great time.
We had a fantastic time on our excursion with Juanra to Tangier! He was super friendly, amazing tour guide and shared his knowledge on Seville's history. Thank you Juanra!
Naturanda are a travel broker for travelsur. I did the Morocco one day trip from Tarifa and it cost 30 euros more through Naturanda. The trip is good but we’ll worth booking directly through travelsur to save yourself the money.
For price its was value for money considering the costs of ferry, transit etc. I would howerver suggest the 2-day trip as you'll have enough time to see more places.
First of all, our Tangier guide Jamal, was wonderful: very proud of his culture, enthusiastic, positive, and overall very knowledgeable. However, as a private tour, we felt it was more like a list routine stops that all tours do. It did not feel customized to our interests. For instance, we did not want to shop at little shops. The lunch was mediocre. I feel we should’ve done a group tour and saved a lot of money.
Our private guide, Muhamad, was excellent. Good English and rich knowledge of history. The difference between the group tour and private tour was in Tangier. We had our own guide and transportation all day and that was very convenient most of time. Even if we had gone through same stops of merchant sales push, but we could get by faster. A lot less stress when moving to next stop since you don't have to wait for the whole group. we were told Tangier was unusually quiet since we visited at the end of Ramadan holidays. A lot of business were still closed. That actually helped us walk through Medina without constant harassment from street people. I did not have a high expectation about Tangier trip anyway, but was not disappointed either. A little costly, but it was a good experience. Tour company handled everything right. I would recommend this tour if you know where you are visiting. It is not a Scandinavian country nor France. Not even Spain. Its GDP is one tenth of Spain's. That would answer a lot of questions.
This was a long day (15 hours) but well worth it. The 2-hour drive to Tarifa was pleasant and the guide and driver were professional. The ferry passage was fun and the weather glorious. Everything went off without a hitch and we were met at the ferry dock by Rashid, our guide for the day. A natural entertainer, Rashid laughed easily from start to finish while providing us with much information about his city and its culture. Some in our group rode camels and got a kick out of that. Lunch was spectacular (cous-cous; chicken bits on skewers; soup; bread; fresh orange juice) and the musicians added charm. Stops at Jewish synagogue; weavers shop; and medicinal oil shop within the Medina (Old Town) were worthwhile. Of course you could buy whatever struck your fancy. Somewhere along the way I misplaced my return tickets for the ferry. To say I was upset was understating things. But Rashid to the rescue who secured new tickets. Cost me an additional 40 Euros but a bargain as opposed to missing the return trip to Seville. This day really put the word "foreign" in foreign travel; one of the highlights of our two months abroad.
Very long day. Guide in Tangier and driver were excellent. No water or snacks offered on two plus hour bus ride to port. Ferry had concessions. At the end, dropped off in middle of busy street and toke taxi “was over there.” Not worth the money or 15 hour trip to see filthy streets with lots of stray cats.
We did a private tour so was pretty pricey overall. We were called and told our ride to the ferry would be with another couple then would be private. Our driver Ray was excellent. He told us everything we needed to know, was very personable and took us both to and from our ferry to Morocco. Our guide Mohammad was at best average. He seemed much more interested in just getting us through each thing instead of letting us enjoy it. He discouraged us going into the caves, and once we were touring the city, seemed more interested in talking about the houses owned by wealthy foreigners than the history of the place. He rushed us through not even letting us stop in shops for a few minutes but he would stop and chat a few minutes with someone on the street constantly. The tour seemed more about impressing us with the wealthy people who lived there and how popular he was than in focusing on our tour and what we wanted to learn and see. We found the snake charmer on our own by asking around to the locals during our free time. Once back in the van, comparing notes with the other couple they had a very different experience with their guide. As others have said, the funneling you into the rug presentation and the argon oil hard sell is incredibly irritating considering what we paid for the tour. I have it a 3 because overall the tour is good, the guide Mohammed is at best average and seemed more interested in what he wanted to do than us. He even commented about how many people complained about him. You’d think this agency would address the concerns but it seems they’re okay with it. My advice. Don’t pay for the private tour unless you’re guaranteed a excellent guide.
Well worth the trip Tangier is vibrant, colourful, safe and friendly with lots to see and do. We had a mini bus tour to see the lush scenery, beautiful beaches and caves then a walking tour to the Kasbah and through the Medina. Lunch was authentically Moroccan and the staff there were just lovely. Our guide Sharif was so very friendly and super knowledgeable, he gave an excellent tour with loads of interesting information. The tour was adaptable to our likes and pace. Our driver to and from Seville, Driss, was lovely. So kind and caring. I would never ever consider doing this trip without a professional tour like this one. The risk of doing this in December is that the fast ferry may get cancelled due to the weather. This happened but we were called the day before with new arrangements to be picked up earlier. Our driver Driss contacted us the night before then 10 minutes before pick up and arrived exactly on time. We were helped to check in at the port and given clear instructions and then met at the other end. The port closed due to the weather and we were driven to the next port and so very well taken care of new tickets, new sailing nothing was a worry. Driss was in touch at the other end, to say he hoped we were ok and he was waiting in Algeciras for us, 30 minutes from Tarif where we had left from. He was waiting smiling even though we were about 2 hours later than planned and in a different port, his only concern was for us and if we were tired. We had a super chat all the home all about history and culture and arrived back in our apartment safe, sound and delighted with the adventure we had. Well worth the trip even though the ferries were disrupted as we had total trust in everyone organising the trip in Morocco and Seville. An excellent trip with an excellent tour company!
This tour was beyond our expectations. We were picked up at our hotel by Miguel. Very punctual! He drove to Tarifa where we boarded a ferry to Tangier. Miguel and Juan helped us to show our passports and get to our seats very quick. Once in Morocco we met or local guide Rashid who showed us the Jewish quarters and the Medina. Also we had a wonderful lunch. We had time for shopping and Miguel helped us to buy an amazing blanket and Moroccan tea. Back to Tarifa we dozed in the van and didn't noticed the two hours trip as Miguel drove wonderfully to let us rest. I recommend this tour
Everything was perfect except for the food in Tangier which was terrible, but the pickup and the guides were extraordinary
The day was organized to perfection! Everything was magnificent! The guide was very kind and polite, listening to all our needs. Would do it again! I recommend it to everyone. I honestly don't understand the negative reviews.
A very pleasant experience, recommended for getting a first impression of Morocco. Rashid, the local guide, is a friendly and kind person.
Excellent tour very complete, our private guide of Seville “Miguel”, excellent guide and excellent person with extensive knowledge about his work as a guide, our guide in Tanger “Larvy” a professional with extensive knowledge about the city and its country, I congratulate these people for treating us as their family in a tour that only lasted 1 day, thank you very much.
Jose Luis stupendous Gia, I highly recommend it , very friendly, friendly, had an excellent time throughout the tour always guided by the, important to mention how considerate it was with the needs of each person, RECOMMENDED 100%.
José luis loved his very friendly and empathetic service with people. It was a spectacular day and everything was perfect.
Excellent guide Juan Ramón Jiménez, knowledgeable and very accommodating. 100% recommended. The tour is very complete and fun.
The tour very well, just some details. They passed us late, the cool Tangier Guide. There's a stop in the Hercules Caves, you scumbag. They should take her off tour.
Avoid being ripped off. The itinerary was not fulfilled. We were only in Tanger 3 hours running with a guide who spoke 10 languages simultaneously and it was impossible to understand 1. The escort from Seville to Tangier spoke neither Spanish nor English when the tour was offered in both languages. The company took care of absolutely nothing.
I will talk about my excursion to Tangier. My group was predominantly (90%) English speaking. The company assigned a young guide who couldn't say a word in English and of course he didn't say anything during the trip, he didn't explain anything at all, he couldn't. But not only that, when we arrived in Tarifa to board the ferry, I was completely confused, I didn't know where anything was, people in the group ended up discovering where we had to go. It was obvious that the guide had never been there. Once on the ferry we had to wait in a very long line for one more passport check with the ferry moving and people trying to stay standing. I realized that in another group the guide had collected the passports of everyone in his group and managed the check while the people were sitting and resting. In our case it was the opposite, our guide sat eating while we stood waiting. Wherever we arrived our guide had no idea what to do or where to go. A disaster. As for the excursion itself, the Hercules cave is a hoax, that is not a cave, it is a little hole in a rock, but the worst thing is to take the group captive to make them listen to the sale of herbs, creams, lotions and not I know what else, almost an hour listening to what is clearly a commission sale for you. A complete abuse. In short, a very poor excursion, without a guide and at a very high cost. I don't recommend it to anyone.
The tour is good, somewhat rushed but overall interesting. The service with Naturanda is terrible, they take a long time to respond to emails or WhatsApp even when it is urgent, we never had a person in charge to coordinate or contact and give us an immediate response. The bus arrived an hour late for us and if we had not spoken directly to the offices, they would not have told us that the driver was late. Whenever we wanted information and sent email or WhatsApp we had no response. The worst thing was on the way back, without telling us, they left us in the middle of a road at 10:30 at night, without any means of transportation to our hotel. In Jerez there is no Uber and we did not have any taxi phone number. It was a nightmare getting out of there.
Everything was very good, the Moroccan guide was very friendly and the transportation was very comfortable from Seville to Tarifa. I will repeat.
I had booked the trip to Morocco 3 months before, just on the day of the trip, on the bus I found out that I needed a visa to enter Morocco. I think the agency could have noticed this situation. Then, once I was on the bus, I couldn't do anything else, they charged me 50%, I don't think it was fair.
Carlos was an excellent guide and the.tour very good..definitely better to visit Tanger with a guide.
The experience with the staff in Seville was good. However, in Tanger the guide showed us in a very runaway way the city of Tanger and took us to very specific places for you to shop. We had time for almost nothing except to buy from the sites pre-determined by the guide.
Very nice experience in a day to tour Punta Tarifa, cross the Strait of Gibraltar and reach Tangier to travel its streets, have lunch in typical restaurant, visit its paronamic viewpoints and ride camel. Highly recommended. Really very well organized the excursion!!
Excursion good to impregnate a bit of Morocco, Tanger is very small and the tour in Tanger is about 4 hours Approx, it is walking, you walk fast and it is somewhat tired because there are many climbs, they take you to a shop of chálese blankets and even apothecary where sells argan oil mainly, the food if very good, the guides very friendly. It takes 4 hrs to reach Tanger and another 4 hrs to return, and 4 hrs more in the city of Tanger.
Really interesting and very taken advantage of the trip, we made a visit to the city, market, surroundings and even we could make some purchases. Being able to take a small camel ride was the perfect point after the visit to the caves of Hercules that were also inside the tour. I still bet on this Enterprise
