Private Monumental Walking Tour In Seville

We opted for a tour of the main sights and a visit of the muséum of fine arts. Carmen led us through the winding maze of Seville’s Jewish quarter (among other sights), taking us on a journey through the history of the city and Spain as we explored its streets. She wove in a wealth of fascinating anecdotes and literary, film and musical references, making the tour lively, engaging and informative, and inspiring us to continue our discoveries once we returned to France. Carmen also recommanded many other places to visit so we could explore further. An expérience that helped make our trip truly mémorable.

Throughout the tour, you could sense her passion for Sevilla’s history and culture. This experience is one reason we want to come back to Sevilla to explore its rich history further. With the hot weather, Carmen optimized the route to take advantage of narrow passageways for shade and monuments when the heat would be near its peak. For all the customizations that went into this tour, I would’ve expected the cost to be more; however, I feel the price was more than fair. Overall, Carmen is great and will recommend her to anyone wanting an unique experience.

Carmen is a wealth of knowledge who taught us much about Alcazar and the Seville Cathedral. She is pleasant, and arranged our tour to suit us. She communicated well before our arrival helping us arrange tickets and timing since we were going to two places. We love learning about the history and context of what we are seeing and she was an excellent teacher for contextualizing those spaces.

She provided great overview of history and context along with some of the interesting stories and her own cultural experience as she is a local Sevillian. She also was able to balance the tour for our group with my older parents who appreciate a slower pace and my husband who is a history enthusiast. Carmen was fantastic. Her pre tour communication was excellent and she was able to be flexible with our start time. The 2 hour tour gave us an understandable overview of Seville's past along with visiting the exterior of the main sites. We finished the route early as we walked a bit faster than Carmen's usual clients so she showed us a few other sites too including the Jewish area. Carmen is very funny and clearly passionate about architecture and history. Would thoroughly recommend.

Rich in knowledge and brimming with personality, Carmen was the perfect tour guide to show us some of the highlights of Sevilla.

Carmen was a joy today she was knowledgeable and fun. Would use her again. She was extremely accommodating on the time. Rescheduled a 10am to noon as it was raining and we did not wish to walk in the rain.
