Guided Tour Sevilla Cathedral

Super tour. Our tour guide, Jesus was extremely knowledgeable and provided very comprehensive information throughout. He injected a little humour when appropriate and captured everyone's interest. Excellent. The Cathedral and its history is very impressive, including fascinating information about the building itself, paintings, the gold and silver adornments therein and the coffin of Christopher Columbus.

The address at the cathedral is not the correct meeting location - i called the number associated with the booking and they were not helpful with finding me the destination. I ended up finding two other people looking for the tour and they were not able to find the group either. Despite us arriving at 4:55 the tour had already gone inside and the company said we were out our money.

We booked this tour through the Seville Visitor Information Office before we travelled - a very informative tour in a gorgeous building. Make sure you walk up to the top of the tower as the views over Seville are spectacular!! There is so much to see and take in that it can feel overwhelming at times. Our guide was great explaining the various points of interest and pointing out the special areas etc. that we shouldn't miss once the guided part of the tour was over. We had plenty of time to wander on our own then and the various chapels were very interesting, filled with glorious paintings and objects of earlier times. This tour is a nice way to spend a hot or rainy day in Seville......but, it can get very crowded!

Our guide, Jesus, was excellent. The Cathedral is well worth the visit. It's magnificent, beautiful paintings, architecture, loads of history.

Eu25 per person - rooftop tour (including entry to main cathedral and giralda tower). Separate side entry door, small queue, prompt entry. Quick hand out of tour headphones.. and you're off. Spanish guide with great English. The rooftop tour gets you to some amazing locations only accessible through the tour. All the walkways overlooking the main cathedral space, the highest stained-glass windows, and the roof itself. Do not forget your camera/phone - the views are incredible - inside of the cathedral and out, from the roof. The guide has a lot of insights and interesting facts. Lasts about an hour - plenty of steps, so probably not for you if you aren't fairly fit. If you are fairly fit... it's well worth it (and i'm notoriously tight with my cash).

Perfect length of time. Tour guide did a great job pointing out the highlights and then we stayed to climb the bell tower & spend more time in the Cathedral. Tour just gave a nice overview.

The guides were not really waiting at the agreed place, I managed to find them by calling their contact number. This could be improved , then there were some issues with someone else’s booking which delayed the start. Once the tour proper started it was good. Interesting details that one won’t have heard otherwise.

Our tour guide was knowledgeable, funny and patient, and he made the experience rewarding and fun. It was the perfect length of time.

Very good and detailed tour of the cathedral. The meeting point was easy to find. The guide was fantastic and answered questions. Even though we were part of a group tour, it almost felt like a private tour. Kids enjoyed it as well. We went for to visit to the Giralda Tower on our own after the guided visit finished. We were given the tickets and dropped off at the appropriate location for the tower visit as well. Highly recommend.

Amazingly detailed tour of the cathedral in Seville. We went for a day trip to Sevilla and this was the only tour we took and we’re so happy we chose this one.

The guide was very articulate and well informed. She was punctual and planned the visit efficiently so that we were able to appreciate all the intricate facets of the cathedral. The audio systems provided during the tour were of excellent quality. We are delighted to recommend this tour.

Our tour was through Sevilla Official Tours, we met outside the Tourist office across the street from the Cathedral. Our tour guide's name was Carmen and she was quite good! Very experienced and informative. It was extremely crowded today, Friday, May 2, 2025 so she had to negotiate large crowds and other tour groups to keep us on schedule and give a good tour/experience. She did just that! At the end of the tour, the queue to get into the tower was huge so she sent the ticket voucher for 15 people to me so she could leave and keep her schedule for the next tour. It worked and the Tower climb and experience was great! Highly recommend this tour with Carmen!

The tour was excellent, entertaining and by a very friendly and well-informed guide. Everything was really perfectly organized: meeting point was easy to find; the entry was fast and we enjoyed such a great trip back to the past of the cathedral as well as so many of its treasures. Absolute recommendation!

They confirmed in writing details. Several times. Then when I turned up they said they weren’t running a tour in English and I could do one two days later. Little to no apology or explanation. So I missed chance to see cathedral. Avoid this company.

Bought a ticket for a tour in a Cathedral in Spain. The tour guide didn’t show up on designated address.

Amazing site made more so by the tour guide. She was Very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. Enjoyed the historical tidbits and opportunity to learn so much about an iconic site.

Guide didn’t pronounce well English so not easy to understand. Look for the pink flag at the meeting point, something they should have mentioned, the guide was a little late so we were worried, if it wasn’t for another company that told me they hold a pink flag and to stay put.

Don’t waste your time. I tried you contact the tour guide but couldn’t get in contact with them ask for a refund and they declined my request. Save your time and money.

The meeting place was right behind the cathedral and very easy to find. Our guide spoke excellent English. She was well informed and did an excellent job guiding us around the cathedral which was crowded . The head phones were a real pllus. .

Our Guide did a wonderful job of highlighting the varied architectural styles used as the Cathedral was expanded over decades. The craftsmanship and expanse can't be captured in words.

Our guide was fantastic, incredibly passionate, funny, and knowledgable. I would have liked to hear heard more of the theological and religious aspect to the Cathedral, but we only had so much time, and everything else was fantastic!

I rated 5 stars for the quality of the amazing guide Jesus He is extremely knowledgeable and is a great communicator But the logistics of meeting point were poor we got to the address went to ask the tourism office if we were at the right place and they knew nothing about Viator meeting point …it should be easier we stressed so much Have a sign somewhere pls But the experience was exceptional

This tour is great! One hour is the perfect amount of time to get through the cathedral and learn about the history within. The ascent to the top of La Giralda is at the end of the tour. The guide takes you to the line and gets you in and then leaves you to explore that part on your own. When you come back down you are still in the cathedral so you can look around more on your own time if you want. Our guide was warm and funny and very knowledgeable. I would recommend!

Tour operator cancelled the night before. Already had train tickets from Sevilla. Tour operator told GYG we cancelled. FYI late notice cancellation.

Recommnd a tour guide for this lovely cathedral, the walk to the top of the tower was worth the view.

Tour was a great overview of the Cathedral, its history and main sights. Worth getting especially if the main tickets are sold out.

We booked for Alcatraz palace in Sevilla We paid for it. We provided our passports We got confirmation and booking number On our mail . The next day after booking and getting confirmation our reservation was cancelled and we only found out because we tried to print our confirmation and information. We called again to the customar service who advised us there was another tour but that was privat We accepted and paid again albeit twice this time because it was private In the morning of the tour we had another email Regarding that there was no ticket available sorry ( that was it). It was throughly irresponsible of u to sell the same tour twice and cancel it each time under the context that “sorry no ticket is available “ Then why r u selling the tour with no ticket on your position ? If we knew better we would go the que early morning and may would obtain ticket Now leaving Sevilla without seeing alcazar Only because we had trusted u. U r very very irresponsible and just say sorry with no accountability . I think this should be a lesson If it is high season people should obtain their tickets and see it with audio guid

Lovely guided tour of the cathedral-large group so headsets were provided-great to have a better understanding of the history and architecture.

I loved seeing the size of the cathedral! The inside was as impressive as the outside. Our guide was a little corny with his humor, but he tried hard to share silly stories,

The cathedral is magnificent. It’s the third largest in the world. St. Peter’s, in Rome, is better in my opinion. But still great. We did the guided tour because all the regular entrance tickets were sold. Reserve your tickets in advance. The tour guide we had was not engaging (thus the 4 stars) - but yours might be better. We walked up the tower, which was physically demanding, but probably worth it.

We had the chance to have Carmen as a guide. She was insightful and very knowledgeable about Sevilla history and customs. She took time to explain and answer our questions. Great visit, I recommend.

Total rip off. There tickets are not valid at the Cathedral, they are not associated in anyway. We had to purchase tickets at the Cathedral. Do not use this company!!!
