Flamenco in the heart of Triana was excellent. The three flamenco dancers and the guitarist put on a passionate performance that demonstrates the origin and emotion of flamenco. The highlight of our trip.
The show lasts around an hour and has a brief intermission - which is perfect. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time and were entertained by the dancing, guitar playing and singing. One member of our group was an ex-dancer and plays the guitar so was more critical, but the rest of us had a blast.
A fantastic experience. Great dancers and instrumentalists.
Awesome show, so passionate and talented.
What a wonderful experience, I can highly recommend this flamenco evening. We had already been to a much larger show but really appreciated the intimate setting and the joy with which the dancers performed. We booked seats with a drink, which was good value. I recommend getting there early as there is no reserve seating unless you pay the top price.
Authentic, amazing, passionate and a must see
Absolutely mesmerising! I was really looking forward to this show and it exceeded expectations! The small venue was perfect for creating atmosphere and it was fantastic to experience this part of Sevillian culture. I would recommend this 100%
An amazing experience, the dancing and musical accompaniments were breath taking. Although not an expert, it really did feel authentic in every way.
If you want a unique and authentic flamenco experience in a cozy, intimate setting, this venue is the perfect place to go. The stomping of the artists’ feet, the loud, passionate voice of the singer and the soulful strings of the guitar will give you the experience of true flamenco. It was worth it.
Booked last minute and got a discounted ticket including a drink. Show was great, a really enjoyable authentic Spanish experience in a nice small venue
What an amazing show this was. The two dancers gave it their all and you could tell how passionate they felt about their dancing. Sitting a few feet away from them made it so much more intimates. The singer and the guitarist were also incredible we loved their passion as well. I would highly recommend this show.
Loved thuis show. The artistes were so talented. The show was in a cosy little room so it felt special as they were dancing especially for us. We enjoyed the sangria too! Would recommend this show
This was a beautiful experience to leave the world behind for an hour. It was full of emotion and such an amazing energy and connection between dancers, singer, guitarist, and audience. The lady who greeted us and the bartender were very friendly and welcoming too. We will go back when we return to Sevilla.
Fantastic - Got a drink on arrival which was unexpected, nice touch. The show was captivating. The whole crew, but the dancers were brilliant. Nice, cute room.
What an excellent choice for our last evening in Sevilla! The small theatre and whole set-up with limited seats on three sides of the stage and a great view so close to the artists make this show unmissable! The performers were super skilled and the guitarist and singer were perfection. Go for the ticket option with a drink and enjoy a glass of sangria to accompany the performance. 100% recommended!
Our hotel recommended this place they said because it was small and intimate and authentic. They were 100% right!!! We had a fabulous time there. The show was exhilarating. Amazing musicians and dancers!! The emcee/host was extremely welcoming the drinks were terrific. Can’t say enough great things. Made me want to see more and more Flamenco!
This hour long show was full of passion. Everyone was very talented and performed with enthusiasm. We were grateful for the drink.
The most brilliant display of authentic Flamenco music dance and voice Very highly recommended
The singer, guitarist, and dancers were talented, expressive, and wonderful. Loved that this is an intimate space.
This is one of the more intimate, traditional tablaos in Seville, and they lean heavily into the pure, Gitano-rooted styles, which is why you’re feeling that mix of passion, tension, and almost confrontational energy. That’s intentional. Let me give you a quick guide to what you’re actually seeing so you can read the emotional language of the show in real time. 🎭 What Makes Sala Almoraima Feel So Intense It’s a small venue, close to the performers, and they tend to feature cante jondo and serious palos rather than the tourist-friendly, upbeat sets. That means you’re getting the real thing — the stuff locals respect. Here’s what’s likely happening on stage: 🔥 1. The Singer (El Cantaor / La Cantaora) They often lead with soleá or seguiriyas. These are not happy songs. They’re about: • loneliness • injustice • heartbreak • existential pain The vocal style is deliberately strained, almost like a cry. That’s why it can feel like anger — it’s actually duende, the emotional “possession” that flamenco artists chase. 👣 2. The Dancer (El/La Bailaor/a) In a venue like Almoraima, the dancer isn’t performing for applause — they’re in a kind of emotional dialogue with the singer and guitarist. You’ll see: • sharp, percussive footwork (zapateado) • sudden freezes • intense eye contact • a proud, upright posture This isn’t aggression toward the audience — it’s a form of defiance, a hallmark of Gitano flamenco. Historically, it’s the body saying: I’m still here. 🎸 3. The Guitarist (El Tocaor) They’re not just accompaniment. They’re provoking the dancer, supporting the singer, and shaping the emotional arc. In serious palos, the guitar often sounds: • minor • tense • rhythmic rather than melodic That tension is part of the emotional architecture. You have to go and see it, forget the fancy ritz you see on TV this is authentic passionate and well worth the money and more.
We visited **Tablao Flamenco Almoraima** on Calle Pagés del Corro for a one-hour flamenco show in the heart of Triana, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The venue is small and intimate, with only around 20 people in the audience the night we attended — mostly couples like us, though there were also four children under 15 who seemed to really enjoy the performance. Seating is very close to the stage (no more than about 10 feet away), which makes the whole experience feel personal and immersive. The dancing was spectacular and the guitar playing equally impressive. The performers were passionate and intense, and you could really feel the emotion and energy in every movement and note. Being so close meant we could appreciate the intricate footwork and subtle expressions that might be lost in a larger venue. There was a short five-minute interval to allow both the performers and audience to catch their breath before the second part of the show, which was very welcome given the intensity of the performance. Overall, this was a very enjoyable evening and a spectacular introduction to flamenco for us. We would happily visit again and would recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and intimate flamenco experience in Triana.
I went to this show on the 11th of September. My first flamenco show. There was a friendly welcome and reception from a lovely lady called Christina. The venue was atmospheric and a comfortable size. Intimate but not too small or crowded at all. The artists consisted of a female dancer, a male dancer, a vocalist and a guitarist. What a fabulous show it was! I spent the first half of the show with tears rolling down my face! It was just so beautiful and passionate. I didn’t understand a word that was being sung but the emotion was so powerful. I absolutely loved it. Each artist showcased their talents as individuals as well as a team. It was a pleasure to watch the relationship and appreciation they had for each other. Fabulous experience and a memory to treasure thank you.
I loved every second, I’m a flamenco enthusiast and could not believe how good the artist were. Will definitely come back before my trip ends! Thank you Juan Carlos for such good customer service!
Chose initially as less than an 8 minute walk from where we stayed. Small venue, very traditional, excellent flamenco and music. Staff attentive and good value for money. We were advised that the dancers and musicians are not always the same but when we attended they were excellent.
Located in the heart of Triana, this simple and authentic Flamenco show took my breath away. Each performer and musician is not only filled with passion, but most importantly look like they are just enjoying themselves. This really comes across to the audience. I am so pleased I went to see this. An item ticked off the bucket list I did not even know I had!
Perfect venue. Perfect Flamenco. Intimate show. Mesmerising. Would go back in a heartbeat. Guitar and rhythmic clapping.
We've seen a fair amount of Flamenco and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of this performance. It's in the authentic and intimate category, not the big flashy show you'll find in a larger venue. Singing, dancing, and guitar playing all at a high level.
We wanted to experience flamenco in a small venue and this was ideal. The show lasted a hour with a short interval - it was intense and magical. Four performers- 2 dancers, a singer and a guitarist.
My wife wanted to see a Flamenco show but I wasn’t that interested, however it was excellent. Beautiful place, all of the performers were incredibly talented, I was blown away.
Room is super small. Condition not nice to see the scene. Super expensive for what it is? I am Wondering about the safety conditions. Much more seats that I believe the rooms could accept.
This felt like an extremely authentic show. In an intimate theatre setting with clear access to the performance at all times there were 4 performers in total, a Spanish guitarist, singer and the two flamenco dancers. Pure Art and passion
Introduction from the Seville tourist office but disappointing. Good venue for Flamenco in principle being small and intimate but (1) there were a limited number of dances with average atmosphere (2) the lady dancer did not dance in the traditional red dress and (3) the gentleman was wearing what looked like a very ordinary mass sourced jacket! Then we saw the lady dancer outside smoking while everyone was leaving - not great for the atmosphere.
Fantastic show! My wife and I really enjoyed it. The venue is perfect, it is small, so you are very close to the stage and get a great view. An absolute must!
This is a must do for anyone looking for a genuine Flamenco Show. The dancers, singers, and musicians were top notch. The venue was perfect, not overwhelming. You sat around the stage close enough to feel the passion. Everyone was given one drink with your admission. We had a nice red wine, there was a bar if you wanted to purchase more. It was a great experience and I totally recommend.
Small venue but a very intimate setting. Enjoyed the evening very much. Performers are passionate about their craft and you have a close up view from ever seat. Would highly recommend this show.
amazing! what else 1 hour show with excellent dancers, singers, musisians. beautiful place with good drink. a very good moment, single or in family
We were absolutely bowled over by this flamenco experience. It is a small venue, just 40 people sitting in a semi-circle around a small stage. One guitarist, one singer, one female dancer, one male dancer. The sheer, raw energy of the whole thing! The dancing, first the woman followed by the man, essentially solos, was absolutely extraordinary. Don't miss it, and don't be enticed into flamenco bars and whatever, this is the real thing.
Last night was my second visit to Almoraima. (The name itself says something to Flamenco guitar people ;-) This place provides visitors with very professionally done Flamenco. Professional here means not only skilled with tradition but also up to date performance. Especially last night, guitarist Antonio Ñoño Santiago was very impressive. Intro was done interestingly & newly and it was followed by traditional accompaniment of Flamenco song type, say, "Alegrias". To me a visitor from Tokyo, majority of audience looked used to Flamenco and reacted very well as Flamenco fans. But the place is easy to access, guiding staff is very kind for you to join smoothly. So, in short, I think this is one of the best places in Sevilla (= world) to enjoy the real Flamenco!!! I will soon make my 3rd visit soon ;-)
This is the second flamenco show we have been to in Seville. I have to make the same comments as I did about the first. I don’t know how authentic the flamenco was, but I can say that the passion and energy put in by the performers was outstanding. The singer, the guitarist and the two dancers gave everything. Moreover, they seemed to be enjoying performing. Recommended.
If you want to have a true Sevilla experience about the flamenco and the culture of this city, this is the place to be! All the artists are very talented! It was amazing!!
Un show demasiado emotivo, hermoso que te permite conectar profundamente con la cultura de la ciudad. Lo recomendaría siempre.
Beautiful, craftsmanship, and intimate
A quality show in a pleasant environment.
I expected the flamenco show to be more romantic and sensual. The performance felt a bit cold to me and lacked the atmosphere I had hoped for. Nice to have experienced and seen once!
A 100% flamenco experience. We enjoyed a show full of elegance, passion, and a staging cared for down to the last detail. Great performers who convey flamenco with authenticity and great strength, masterfully combining singing, music, and dance. All this in a small, intimate, and well-kept venue, which allows you to experience the show in a close and special way, feeling every note, every voice, and every movement. And doing it in the heart of Triana, Seville, makes the experience even more authentic. A place where flamenco is truly felt and lived. Flamenco in its purest state, with soul, elegance, and emotion. A totally recommended experience.
Everything perfect. From the ticket purchase, the reception, the venue… Highlighting the kindness of the woman who greets the clientele, the small and familiar tablao, the artists, and the bar, well-decorated and cozy.
Great time! I recommend it without hesitation Thank you!
Grand show, thanks to the 4 fabulous and very high-level artists. We loved the intimate venue and felt a lot of emotion. A great moment!! Go for it without hesitation if you want to discover authentic FLAMENCO ...
