The Alcazar is an amazing place full of centuries of wonderful history. It would have been overwhelming without tour guide Valentin to share his extensive knowledge of history and culture and provide highlights for us. Afterwards we had as much time as we wanted to keep browsing around to explore the palace on our own time.

Mezquita- Catedral de Cordoba
Juderia
This synagogue and the Tránsito one in Toledo are two of the most representative examples of the medieval period. It is quite small and its entrance is through a courtyard. The main door is profusely decorated with Mudejar plasterwork and there are three small balconies which form a trefoil archway with inscriptions from the psalms enclosed in a rectangular frame. The Tabernacle is on the east wall.

Interesting tour with enthusiastic and knowledgeable guides. My only criticism was that there was a large party size of about 50, with 2 guides. This would have been fine if the party could have been split into 2 groups of 25. However, 5 of the party were French speaking and the rest spoke English. So one guide led the small French speaking party and the other guide took a party of about 45, which was uncomfortably large. Surely the operator could have assessed the balance of language requirements during the booking process and allowed for an additional guide.
Long but worthwhile day See a lot of history Walk a lot on uneven ground Learn a lot about Andalusia Can be hard the here the guide because the group is very large and audio can cut in and out and is garbled on the bus
Excellent tour and day spent in Cordoba exploring its beautiful sites. Highly recommend when visiting Cordoba.
The guides were excellent and gave great recommendations on where to find lunch. We learned a lot and we enjoyed the day.
Guides were great. The mosque/cathedral was amazing architecturally and historically. The other parts of the tour (patios in Cordoba and the Jewish quarter) were a little boring/unnecessary. I would suggest changing the itinerary a little bit to either make the tour shorter so you have more of the day back, or combine it with something else more interesting.
Our tour guide was Driss and we had an amazing time. He was able to lead a tour in 3 different languages simultaneously without making it feel like we were dragging on or just waiting for our turn to hear what he had to share. Driss was informative, passionate about Cordoba, insightful, kind, and funny. We had plenty of time to explore each area we visited, and got a good sense of the town and history. Even with the heat, we had a great time and would definitely recommend.
Would have been 5 but coach air conditioning failed and had to wait for replacement for 2 hours. The tour of the city and the cathedral were both led by different specialists in each area. A couple of hours spare time. Go a little further away from the Cathedral to eat and the prices are more favourable. Despite very clear instructions at the meeting point and on the coach before leaving 2 people finished up on this coach and not the one they wanted to Rhonda The organise on the bus was knowledgable pointing things out en route
Maria was a great tour guide! Very knowledgeable and helpful! This excursion was exactly what I was looking for.
The tour was amazing! The guide was very knowledgeable and explained the history of the city in multiple languages. The Mosque Cathedral was beautiful and definitely made the trip worth it. We took two children with us and the amount of walking was a bit much for them but we have plenty of time to sit while listening to the guide.
It was really well ran. Martina did a wonderful job and stuck to the timings. Very informative and even gave us a tour around the town.
Immersive, informative day trip. Our guide, Carmella, was knowledgeable, helpful, and quick thinking when unexpected moments arose. She created a perfect day for us.
Very good experience, our guide Jesus was brilliant. Very helpful with locating our friends in Cordoba
Extremely personable. Extremely knowledgeable and very friendly group. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Jesus. The mosque/cathedral was incredible! Worth the trip for sure!
I had the most wonderful experience on my trip to Corbada. The City is as amazing as advertised. It’s beautiful and historic. Our guide, Ines worked hard to give as much information as possible. She was a pleasure to be around. She even helped me find my accommodation. Thank you Ines.
I strongly recommend avoiding this company. The tour was disorganized and frustrating from start to finish. The guide’s explanations were confusing, disjointed, and uninformative. His overall demeanor came across as odd and uncomfortable, In Córdoba, the headsets barely worked unless you were very close, with him knowing that he still didn’t slow. After hours of confusion, the mosque tour was still unclear. Overall, a terrible experience and we learned nothing. .
This was our first visit to Spain and we were excited to see Cordoba. Unfortunately, although the tour guide, Rebecca, had good intentions, there were many problems with the tour. To begin with, the tour was scheduled To begin at 9am which had been confirmed online the day before. At 8:40 I do received a call from Rebecca saying that the group was waiting for us. We had to take a cab to meet the group. We then learned. That we would be on a bus with 2 guides and our tour would be in Spanish(4 guests) and English(20 guests) At each point of interest the Spanish speaking guide would speak first leaving the rest of the group to stand around and wait for the English translation. Also unfortunately, our guide. Rebecca, was very hard to understand. The Spanish speaking guide,Miguel, was much more animated and seemed to enjoy what he was doing. Rebecca was disorganized and forgot to bring her microphone(saved by a guide at one of the stops). We booked a tour in English and I think the groups should have been split up. It was not a good experience to stand around and wait while the Spanish guide spoke to a very small number of the group. We have travelled extensively and have never had a problem like this. Very disappointing tour.
Do not take this tour. Our names were not on master list so we couldn’t get into mosque. There were 115 people on this tour and Reese refused to help us. Rebecca tried. Very disorganized and rude tour guide. I will be requesting a refund adap
The pickup point in Seville old city was very convenient although there was a bit of a wait to change onto the English tour bus further out in the city. It was only one bus on the way back however. Bus very comfortable. The guide, Pia, was very knowledgeable and told us a lot about the history of Carmona, the first stop where we had a coffee. Then on the way to Cordoba she told us about the agricultural area we passed through. We had a very interesting tour of the city then after lunch our group was handed over to Veronica for the tour of the Mesquita - Catedral. A native of Cordoba she was so passionate about the truly impressive building. A very enjoyable excursion and great value.
Beautiful small quaint city, a lovely way to spend the day. Unfortunately it was raining non stop when we visited, but it was still worth the visit, the temple was beautiful and having a guided tour of the city, learning about the history from experts was so interesting.
Tha town was lovely and the Mosque Cathedral was spectacular. It would have been very helpful if the tour had provided headsets and headphones.
The weather was atrocious, which couldn’t be helped - gale force winds and driving rain. The tour leaders should have recognized this and not had us standing in city squares as they explained the history of the area. We were too cold and wet to listen. We could have at least stood under arches or someplace that provided shelter. There were no adjustments made to the tour to provide relief from the weather. The tour guide in the Mesquita was excellent.
Our guide knew everything about the history of the city and Cathedral and engaged everyone with her enthusiasm and style.
The city is wonderfull, full of history, good food and drinks. The bus is 2 hours from Seville. I hired the sightseing in spanish but we had to hear in three different languages amd it wasted so many time.
The very knowledgeable guides made this a great stress free experience from start to finish. I would recommend just confirming the pick up loctaion and time with the tour oprerator when you book as the conformation email was slightly confusing.
Great guide and beautiful views! We started the day with a quick stop at a place called Carmona. After that, we went all the way to Cordoba. The guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour fun
Overall, not my best tour experience, but still had a nice time! Our guide was very nice, but his English was very hard to understand. They took us to a tiny town first, before Cordoba (didn't see that on the site), and would have much rather spent that time in Cordoba. Also, the tour company was not very communicative and we were not told we were supposed to go to a different pickup location. They handled it, but we didn't really know what was going on. In the end we had a nice time with the other people on the tour! But would change those couple things.
Great day. Saw Carmona as well as Cordoba. Trip was well structured and well paced. Jesus (the name of our guide) was great. Trip in the mosque was the highlight. Got to see all that we wanted in Cordoba with Jesus (our guide) giving great commentary. Highly recommend the trip
This tour was ok. The company seems very disorganised and we started late. The coach had people who spoke 4 languages so each and every long announcement was in French, Italian, Spanish, English. The tour guides were very friendly! Their English was ok but our guide kept referring to the “patios” of Córdoba when she meant courtyards (patio is the Spanish word for courtyard). Overall I understood about 85%, which isn’t too bad, I suppose. If I redid this, I’d take a train to Córdoba, buy my own Cathedral ticket and spend time walking around on my own.
Guides Daniella & Ivan could not be more capable, kind, patient and professional on our unforgettable tour in Córdoba. Excellent balance of friendly and businesslike. I’d do it again in a heartbeat. 🇪🇸
We would recommend the guided tour to Cordoba Mosque and Cathedral. The tour was well organised, the coach very comfortable, the guides were interesting and informative. The tour was was very enjoyable and memorable.
We booked this trip 2 months back on trip advisor. The provider was Andasulur excursions. I confirmed with them that they will pick us up from our hotel and they said yes and will give pick up time the day before. I got a text from a provider called' Naturanda' yesterday for this very excursion. (They might be the local provider) to tell us to meet at their office. They denied knowing abt them picking us up. This was just the start. When the tour started they put us in a tour where there were around 18 Italian speakers and 6 English speakers. The guide would explain to the Italian people in Italian and would then give a short explanation in English. Well two people in our group were really upset that they were not told in the beginning that the tour will proceed in two languages because it's a waste of time. Unknown to us they were transferred to an English guide group. Had we known we would have complained too as so much time was taken to explain the same thing in two languages. After that our guide did try his best to speed things up and took care of us but I think it's the company's fault as they should not sent 4 English speakers with an Italian group. So please due your due diligence if you book with this company. We are easy going so we still enjoyed our tour and didn't let this situation bother us too much.
Felt like a half day trip extended to a full day. The joining instructions were a little unclear and at the start it all felt a little disorganised. After about 30 minutes we stopped in a small village for coffee and toilets. It didn’t seem necessary. On arrival in Cordoba the first stop was for lunch so by 2pm we hadn’t really done anything ! The mosque was really interesting and well worth a visit however it was a 10 hour round trip so a long day for an hours visit.
Great choice of spots to visit and told the story of Cordoba's development well bringing some of the main characters to life
Our Mosque-Cathedral guide, Carlos was very knowledgeable. Although the information provided was in English and Spanish, it provided time to take picture while he was explaining to the other group. Overall the Cordoba from Seville tour was enjoyable.
This was a mixed bag primarily because of the tour operator, Naturanda. We got a call the night prior that our pick up time changed to 45 minutes later. We then got on a bus only to be transferred to another bus. A minor inconvenience, but not a great start. The beginning of the tour was quite nice, though. We stopped in Carmona and explored a hidden gem. We were then able to explore the old quarter and patios of Cordoba with an informative guide. We also had a lovely lunch away from the tourist traps near the mosque cathedral. Things took a turn for the worse after our lunch break, though. We arrived at the mosque cathedral entrance only to be told that the tour company didn’t organize enough local guides to conduct the tour. Our Naturanda guide explained that only licensed local guides could tour the cathedral. After fifteen minutes of back and forth, we were placed in a Spanish speaking group and the local guide had to complete the tour in English and Spanish. This caused everything to run longer than anticipated. The final negative point was that, because it was a local holiday, nearly all of the public restrooms were closed. Our guide took us to two different places to find a restroom before essentially saying we were on our own. Unorganized and unfortunate. We read reviews with similar negative experiences with Naturanda, but as one of the couples in our group shared, they operate pretty much all of the tours in and around Seville. You’re kind of stuck with them. It’s hard to say you should avoid them, but you should walk in knowing what to expect.
Very good organizing.zTout guide Antonio one of the best guide I have. Very knowledgeable ,sense of humor and very informative.
Our guide for Cordoba was Dris and he was terrific. Very informative and friendly. Nacho gave us the tour of the Cathedral and he was equally informative and open to questions. The walking was not strenuous but there lots of other tourists seeing the same things. Both tour guides handled this situation very well.
Very poor organisation meant that we spent an hour waiting for our coach pick up which never showed. Really disappointed !
Long excursion, but worth it! Our guides were very knowledgeable and personable. We stopped in Carmona before went to Cordoba. It was a nice stop and lovely city, but not very long. Cordoba visit included walking tour with history and a nice lunch stop before it started again. Then, after the mosque tour, we had a few minutes before heading back. Cons The tour is 10 hours and we think skipping Carmona would have been better as it would shorten it slightly without losing much. But it's part of the tour, just be prepared that it's not an extremely long stop. Not much free time in Cardoba if you take lunch. Pros Clean bus Excellent tour guides. Historical knowledge was phenomenal and they were engaging. Carlos Leon did a fabulous job Multi language Lots of ground covered on the tour in Cardoba One small note, the transistors we used in the mosque did not work very well. They could invest in some better equipment. I recommend this tour if you want an informative and thorough experience.
This is a wonderful tour and should not be missed. Cordoba is amazing and the guides were very knowledgeable. Bus was very comfortable too. Wear shoes that will do ok on the uneven cobblestone streets.
Beautiful place. Guides were great. Was supposed to be English only But we had 5 others so our guides had to translate twice.
Our guide from Seville to Cordoba was not good. Kind but not good. Our guide inside the Mezquita which was not the same person was amazing. We were impressed by her as she is very young but explained everything well. When she had to turn our bug group back to the first guide, we were sad. Cordoba’s Mezquita was the reason we came here and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend the tour but I hope you’ll get a really good guide to take you.
Alex was a great guide, witty and informative. Pick up was on time and journey was comfortable. The tour was generally well paced and very interesting. Would definitely recommend it.
Fantastic guides, Daniela during the day, and Nachos at Cordoba, really knowledgeable and gave us lots of free time.
We thought we had signed up for an english small group tour but it turn out to be a group of 28 and bilingual. That was disappointing. The guide did a great job but it was difficult for her to control that size of people. That being said we were glad that we did it and that cathedral/mosque is beautiful and really unique.
Our guides were very friendly, knowledgeable and interesting. We had a mix of Spanish speakers and English speakers on our tour, and our guides spoke in Spanish and English to include everybody.
One of the most beautiful and historic places to see! The tour was amazing with professional tour guy, nice and comfortable bus, great services!
Excellent trip to Cordoba. All of the logistics were managed very well - pick up place and time all confirmed. Beautiful clean and new coach. Our guide Manuel was amazing - clear, amusing and highly knowledgable. We thoroughly enjoyed the visit and the hand off to a new guideline Cordoba (Ricardo) who was also excellent. There was lots of free time too. A great day out.
Well organised, led and informative without being an overload to the senses! Met at the Hotel before coach arrived and departure clearly explained. The main guide Sergio was brilliant; very knowledgeable and prepared to answer questions and chat a little. He organised the group so that everyone was included and time was used efficiently.
