Great tour with Carmen. I learned a lot and the mosque cathedral was spectacular.

This was a great full-day tour. The first stop at Carmona was well-timed and really pretty. Cordoba was wonderful. Our guide, Merce, was so knowledgeable and just great. And the Mezquita itself was incredible. The day was outstanding.
We thoroughly enjoyed our day trip to Cordoba with Merce! She is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable and kept the fairly large group moving along effectively. Whisper boxes were used through much of the trip, which was appreciated. The coach was very comfortable, the rest stops well planned. The side visit to Carmona was just enough to get a brief taste of the city. The tour of the Mesquita was excellent! We had been before, a few years ago, but this tour was definitely superior. Highly recommend! Thank you Merce
This was an excellent tour. Merce was a great tour guide who had excellent knowledge that was easily conveyed across multiple languages (English and Italian). She also infused humor into her explanation which made them easier stay engaged with. She also answered many questions from the group and was not stumped by anything! She also had a great personal touch with the younger member of the group. The guide of the Cordoba Mosque/Cathedral was also excellent and truly one of the most unique places I have seen. Would highly recommend this tour and would hope you would be just as lucky to have Merce!
I had a wonderful trip. The tour was run by Naturanda which has numerous offices around Seville. My hotel was a little bit out of the way so I had to take a bus to get to the meeting point. While it was scheduled to start at 8:59 AM, the guide was delayed and we only got on the bus around 9:30. After that everything went smoothly. Our guide, Fouad, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Since our tour was in both English and French he had to bounce back and forth between both languages which he did masterfully! At the Mezquite, Fouad handed the reins over to a local guide, Jose, who was able to walk us through the history of the mosque/cathedral century by century. He made the history feel alive! The tour itself was well organized with plenty of free time to explore on our own in both Carmona and in Cordoba. I would not hesitate to take this tour again :-)
This was really well-organised tour, with great guides - friendly and knowledgeable - clear instructions and plenty of loo opportunities. The best day of our holiday - thank you Merce, Tanya and David.
Very long and if you are older it is very difficult to hear a lot of what the guides are saying. Pick up location was not easy to find. The end.
Fantastic experience! Well coordinated tour. The lunch place recommended was very good. The cathedral was an unique experience!
Cordoba is a beautiful, interesting city. Pia was an excellent guide.. friendly, knowledgeable, and interesting. I highly recommend this tour.
My daughter and I loved this day trip. The Mezquita was absolutely stunning and the archaeologist was so informative. When we had a slight problem our guide for the day, Martina, went out of her way to help us. Would highly recommend it was amazing.
Great trip . Well organised by the operator Naturanda. Amazing mosque cathedral. Fabulous guide Nieves.
Daniella, was exceptional. Providing Italian and English translation. Fun, knowledgeable and experienced, she was terrific in every sense. Highly recommended her!!!! HOWEVER, the company selling this tour does NOT come clean in terms of their tours being in 2 languages. Absolutely no statement when signing up. This is the second time on this trip, and we will reconsider tours with them in the future. Be aware.
Slightly disorganised beginning with people needing to swap buses in Seville before setting off. Lovely little stop in Carmona. Lost a bit of time in Cordoba with the rest stop due to how busy the queues were for the facilities. The cathedral/mosque was very impressive. Would’ve liked more free time in one chunk to allow more time for lunch and to explore more than was able to do as only ended up with 45 mins between walking tour and cathedral entry, and 30mins afterwards
Martina was our guide to visit Cordoba, first stopping in Carmona. We had a wonderful day. The Carmona stop gave us time for breakfast & we appreciated Don Quixote’s home being pointed out. The Cordoba hours were enchanting, visiting award-winning patios & a synagogue built in the 13th century. The final stop, the Mezquita, was just amazing, and our guide was wonderful. She knew her history, deftly handled all questions, and gave us just the right amount of detail, history & time to appreciate this magnificent structure. We would definitely book again.
Our guide Morad was great, attentive and informative. The local guide Carlos - his English was hard to understand and voice too soft. So we didn't get as much out of the Mosque Cathedral highlight of the trip, which was disappointing. Need to have local guides with good English. Or speak slowly
A very informative and enjoyable day. The guide (Jesus) was very good. He achieved a good balance of facts and humour. He also took good care of the group. During those parts of the journey where there was nothing for him to impart, he would walk through the coach talking to each of us individually.
Our Guide Albar was smiling all the time and quite knowledgable. Naturanda is a good tour company. The bus was very comfortable. The guide inside the Mosque Cathedral in Cordoba was a different person - and she was really very very knowledgeable
Merce was a great guide. We learned a lot about the history of Carmona and Cordoba.
Cordoba is fantastic the mosque cathedral is unbelievable we had free time after the tour of the mosque but we were outside and couldn't get back in I would have loved to spend my free time inside
Wow! What a fantastic day seeing the beautiful Cordoba and Carmona. Our guide for the day was Pia who was absolutely brilliant. The time on the coach was filled with really interesting facts about the landmarks and history of Seville. I would highly recommend this trip.
Pia was a very good guide- knowledgeable, friendly, helpful. Highly recommend her. We arrived by 9am as per instructions but the bus didn’t arrive until after 9:30 which was frustrating. The timetable seemed rushed and there wasn’t enough free time.
Excellent experience. Jesus is an personable, funny, entertaining, very informative and attentive guide. 10 out of 10.
Pia was a fantastic guide. She explained the history of the Jews, Muslims and Christians in Cordoba and Cormona without bias. She was funny, warm and knowledgeable and she created a great atmosphere for the group of 28.
Pia is good guide to us, she has explained everything in details. I am thankful for great city tour of Cordoba
Very good trip our tour guide Merce was excellent. Merce regularly checked that everyone in the party was accounted for. Remember to take your suntan lotion as needed when doing walk around the town. It’s a very interesting tour.
This company was very unorganized. It was unclear what to do at the meeting point, with several groups not sure how to proceed. When a guide showed up late, she was very frustrated when none of the names on her list were present. When she finally got the correct names, we were behind schedule, and we were told we had to walk to another meeting point to get on our bus. After a 1/2 mile speed walk, in which she had no concern for our large group, with many elderly people, crossing busy streets safely, we made it there. When we got to the bus, we were divided up into two groups, Spanish/French and Italian/English. Apparently trying to save money the company did not want to provide, despite the large numbers, a separate guide for each language. This made it very difficult to follow on the tour. The only saving grace was our wonderful guide Jesus, who handled the difficult circumstances admirably. He was friendly, encouraging, engaging, and full of interesting knowledge and useful suggestions. With him we were in good hands and he made the tour a pleasant experience. The bus driver was also great, very professional and a safe driver.
We travelled from Seville on a large air conditioned coach with 2 great guides - Antonio & Maria. 4 languages were covered, and this worked seamlessly. On this trip. Antonio took English & French with Maria taking Spanish & Italian….although Antonio impressively was comfortable in all 4 languages. The stop in Carmena was excellent, and we had an informative and interesting time in Cordoba. The only points to be aware of were 1/ in summer (up to Sep16) lots of sites are closed in the afternoon (we were disappointed not to see the Alcázar gardens) and 2/ the trip around the Mezquita is with local guides and there it was noticeable having to cater for 2 languages in a single group. Not as seamless. Antonio, as our guide for the day, was fascinating and made the whole day worth it!
Great Tour around the most important parts of Córdoba and a detailed look into the Mosque. Our tour guide Pia explained lots of the history and was fun to be around!
Pia our your guide was extremely knowledgeable and informative. I really appreciated hearing about information I wouldn’t haven’t gleaned walking around on my own. The pace was perfect, I’m by no means a fast walker and I did just fine on the tour. Although not required she suggested a great lunch spot and I have to say it had one of the best on my trip and was priced extremely well. It was away from the tourist areas. Great tour of Carmona and Cordoba.
Great sightseeing. Cordoba was very nice with guide Jose Luis. I love the town with narrow strets and particulary the mosque. Guide told us everything we need to know about history. The Carmona or gates of Seville is fantastic old town.
We had a wonderful trip to Córdoba and Carmona with Pia! She was incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and engaging. We especially loved the history lessons. Pia brought the fascinating history of both cities to life with stories, context, and details that made everything we were seeing so much more meaningful. It never felt like just sightseeing; we came away feeling that we had really learned and understood the places we visited. Pia was also friendly, patient, and a pleasure to spend the day with. A fantastic experience and a tour we would highly recommend. Thank you, Pia!
Fantastic tour. Right from transportation to the guided tours in each location, everything was great. Our guide PIA was superb and very knowledgeable, always cordial and smiling. She explained the entire history behind Cordoba and Carmona on the bus even before we got there and on the walking tour too, gave a detailed account of each spot. She even recommended a nice vegetarian restaurant. I would highly recommend this tour and ask for Pia as your guide when booking.
This tour was fine, but not exceptional. Nothing bad to say about the guide - she was great. Having the tour provided in multiple languages, however, (4 on my trip, split into 2 guides after the bus) meant we were standing around waiting for long explanations to be provided in different languages. We could have seen and experienced a lot more if there had been a single language per tour guide. None of us liked the food in the restaurant recommended by the guide for lunch. It had Antiqua in the name. Go elsewhere. Honestly, it felt like a long ride for a short experience. I would probably try a different tour next time.
We took a day trip from Sevilla to Cordoba, and while there were some real positives, a few organizational issues held the experience back. Our guide Martina was knowledgeable and easy to enjoy. She clearly knew the history of Cordoba well and Veronica made the mosque/cathedral tour engaging. The first set of headphones for that tour was dead, but she and the team worked quickly to swap them out with minimal disruption. Unfortunately, the trip got off to a rough start. Even though we arrived 15 minutes before departure and had already checked in, we were nearly left behind. There were several tours departing around the same time, and the company never announced which group was leaving when. We were sitting right in the lobby, but our group left without us regardless. The staff had to call the bus and ask them to wait for us to catch up. On the way back, the air conditioning on the bus was broken, making for an uncomfortably warm ride home after a long day of sightseeing. Additionally, we had two language groups on our tour. For the mosque/cathedral, this made the experience feel rushed since the guide had to explain everything twice, and we were clearly running out of time. We’ve been on other tours where they provide multiple guides (one for each language) which is a better experience. Overall, the guides were great and worked hard to provide a good experience, but the company’s logistics need improvement — better communication about departures and properly functioning equipment would go a long way.
We took a train from Seville to Cordoba for a day trip and start our walk tour from world famous Mezquita Cathedral, after that we move towards charming cobblestone streets of Jewish Quarter, then we will go to historic Roman Bridge which is an iconic landmark of the city , There is a Islamic museum situated at the tower from where you can have the gorgeous views of the city while explore rich history, culture, and vibrant atmosphere inside the eight rooms of the museum.Cordoba is one of Andalusia's most beautiful and historic cities in Spain. We definitely recommend everyone to visit Cordoba if you are in Spain.
This tour offers a very good balance between sightseeing and diving deep enough in the history of the area, and also the interaction between the different cultures and spreading over different periods of time. Our Tour Guide Maria really did an amazing job mixing it together in an interesting way. She constantly made the connections between the history and the monuments we were seeing at the time. She is truly a wealth of knowledge and extremely nice person. We highly recommend this tour without reservation.
Carmen and Adrian were wonderful guides! They knew all the history and gave us cool recommendations for shopping
First they rescheduled the trip and I had to switch to Saturday which wasn’t good. Our tour bus was late and it started out fine. When we got to Cordoba I lost sight of our group and couldn’t find them. The guide walked so fast and there wasn’t a clear plan in case we got lost. I called the office and they called the guide to figure out where they were. After a nice lunch we had to wait to switch out headsets which didn’t work for the last tour. The guides in the way back talked non-stop loudly. I enjoyed seeing the patios, but the English of the guide wasn’t easy to understand.
Great experience! Big comfortable bus. Tour broken into smaller groups by language. Pia is a wonderful guide.
Had a lovely time in Cordoba. Martina made the tour fun. She was very helpful!!
The tour was great visiting Cordoba and Carmona with Mezquita,Synagogue and Patios. There is alot of walking so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water. The meeting point is one of their three offices and we had to walk about 7-10 mins to get to the bus from the tour office closest to our hotel. There were two guides on our bus who were able to speak different languages. The bus had one comfort stop before reaching our destination and the same coming back. We were split into two groups according to languages when we reached our two destinations. Both destinations were very interesting and the Cathedral tour was great - our tour guide there was an archeologist working in the Cathedral. We were given time at both destinations to stop for a break. Overall good tour learning about the history of the area and the architecture.
Excellent trip, guides were very knowledgeable and very attentive. Would definitely recommend. Cathedral and mosque were beautiful, well worth a visit
A great experience… to see the town of Cordoba with an informed guide was great and the mosque/cathedral was amazing. The guide was funny and helpful but his english was a bit hard to understand.
Comfortable trip to Cordoba and Carmona with Jesus who was a very knowledgeable guide.
The Mezquita-Catedral visit was amazing, so interesting to learn the history and little known facts!! Our guides were great-- Daniela, Driss, and Ana. They were very nice, fun, organized and knowledgeable. The bus was comfortable (perfec ttempnof A/C) and with the extreme heat in Sevilla and Cordoba in late June, that is very important and very much appreciated!
When I booked the tour, I specifically looked for a small group. We ended up on a huge motor coach with one other group. That would have been fine, except we then had to listen to all of the info provided in four different languages - Spanish, Italian, French and English. I honestly admire the tour guides’ language skills. We certainly don’t have that ability. However, it is very overstimulating and difficult to track when different languages are being spoken by the guides. Once we got off the bus, the group was split in half. We were in the French/English group. The headphones and reception worked fine as long as we were within a certain distance of our guide. Unfortunately, the narrow streets were packed with people, and oftentimes we would lose reception. At one point, we started receiving reception from a passing tour guide….in Spanish. Between losing service and switching languages, the tour became disjointed and uninformative. On the bright side, we were led into the Mosque-Cathedral by Gloria, who spoke with us only in English. This was so much better and we enjoyed this particular part of the tour immensely. Also, our tour guide Inez suggested we go outside the walls for a little more authentic lunch and less crowds. She was right and we were glad to have some peace while dining close to the river. If you are truly looking for a small group, this may not be the one for you. Just beware that small group doesn’t necessarily mean same language. I believe the tour guides did the best they could, under the circumstances, and I place the blame on the operator.
A great day trip to see the main sights of Cordoba! The Mesquita is not to be missed. Carlos was a great guide and kept us all in good spirits with his humor.
Besides the starting point not being 100% accurate, the overall trip was very enjoyable. Martina was very professional and coordinated between showing English and Italian in our trip. Impressive. The visit to the Mezqiita Cathedral was amazing. The radios with our guide could have been better quality. Informative.
Travel company extremely disorganized. They had over booked the tour so we’re not able to provide proper service. The synagogue was part of the tour but were not taken there. We booked your in English and only received English tour guide for the last 30 minutes. Very disappointed as tour not what was advertised. Expecting a refund.
