This Flamenco show and museum is well worth it. The dancers, singers and guitarist were all excellent performers - so passionate and entertaining. 10/10- the music and dancing were so emotional and I'd recommend it if visiting Seville.
We went to this one and the one in the cave in Granada. This one is way better. The music, acting, facial expressions, movements... 10/10
AMAZING FOR BOTH! My daughter does a lot of Flamenco dancing in England and whilst we were in Seville, a visit to the museum was a "must". It is a really well laid out museum, full of character, feels like the essence of Flamenco is all around you. My daughter understood a lot more than I did, abut the things like different techniques, which are explained, but I was totally mesmerised by the whole experience, could have spent hours in there, except we had to stop our viewing, to join the queue for the show at 5pm. Suggest you arrive early, as the queue soon builds up, and seating is on a "first come, first choice" basis, though I don't think any of the seats are in a bad position, but the nearer the front you want to be, would mean getting in early. [Admission is half an hour before the performance, but the queue starts well before that]. The show is superb, really outstanding dancers, who "give it their all" and are amazing. The hour went far too quickly, I could have watched them for ages. There is a bar selling all types of drinks and toilets adjacent, but I didn't see any food. Not the easiest of venues to find and taxis can't gain access to the road outside, but do try to drop you nearby. Highly recommend. We saw 3 shows in the 4 days we spent in Seville, and personally I felt this was the best. In fact, DO NOT MISS BOTH THE MUSEUM AND SHOW IF YOU'RE STAYING IN SEVILLE.
Professional show, exciting ,very entertaining, thoroughly enjoyed it Only criticism is Seats not too comfortable and squashed together , I had to move to the end of the row to avoid feeling hemmed in The museum was not what I had expected and I didnt find it easy to hear or see tge videos , it was very dark
This was an excellent experience. The artists are so talented and amazing. Not seen anything like this before. Definitely worth it!
This was a superb and highly professional classical Flamenco performance. And very exciting to watch. The whole audience lept to their feet multiple times with applause, for the dancers but also for the exquisite guitarist, and the 2 soulful singers. Touring the flamenco museum there was also fascinating. We would recommend it to anyone. Come 45 minutes before the performance, as people form a line to choose seats in the small theatre.
Wonderful show in a small setting. Bonus is a visit to the museum. Length of show was appropriate. The three dancers were very talented.
Wonderful wonderful show. I would have loved to have on the form that was sent to be told that the museum closed at 6. We did not know that and got there to late to see the museum. Otherwise it was a tremendous show!
Fab evening - the dancers, singers and guitarist are brilliant, definately worth the trip. Show is just the right length of time as well to really get a feel for the spanish tradition Flamenco. Feel a bit cheated though, experience and ticket purchased through Viator was for entry to the museum as well but it closes at 6pm, so if you book the 8:45pm shiw and arrive at 7 to have a look round the museum as well you will be disappointed.
Small intimate location, so close to the action brings a full immersion into the passion, dance, music & song of flamenco. Brilliant!
My family’s first experience seeing flamenco dance. The small group setting and close-up access made the performance so intimate. My husband said that he felt like he’d been transported to a different world. They introduced the variations of the dance we’d see. And then it was continuous dancing. The only suggestion I’d make is to go earlier in the day and not the later. Admission to the museum is included but since we did the 5pm performance, we didn’t get a chance to see the museum before they closed at 6pm.
I would have to say that this flamenco show was better than the one I saw later in Madrid. It was a little challenging to find so I took a taxi from Alcazar. I had hoped I’d just walk over. The dancers were very fiery and put on a excellent show. The sangria was refreshing on a day of 40c in august. The museum was very interesting to see the history and costumes. The staff at the gift shop was very friendly and helpful.
We enjoyed the show. We did not realize that our tickets for the show also gave us access to the museum and drinks before the show. It was our first flamenco show. Since we do not understand Spanish so it was hard to understand the storyline of the show, but the dancing and singing were very entertaining. About 50 minute-long show.
Great experience, but here’s what you need to also know: 1) Plan to be 45 minutes early for the show (when they open the doors) and select your seat from the open seating. Enjoy a cold drink. The bar will be open. 2) And plan to come 45minutes to 1 hour before the above to enjoy the lovely museum. They will give you a ticket to the Flamenco show at the same time you check in for the museum. Loved this. Must be the best Flamenco show in Sevilla!!
The show was fantastic and the performers were very professional. I watched a flamenco show at Barcelona years ago at a restaurant, but this one was the most authentic one that we saw. Enjoyed it so much and really worth the experience.
My girlfriend & I wanted to see a flamenco show during our trip & after reading lots of reviews about the different venues that do these shows, we picked this one as the seats are unreserved (some other venues pre-pick your seats in advance) & there is a museum in the same building that you can do before or after the show. The museum was interesting & explained the history of flamenco with plenty of audio/visual. I had read that you should try & get front row central if possible, so we were first in the queue an hour before the show started...you can get in about 45 minutes before the show starts. That was great advice as the stage is not high & the feet of the performers were almost eye level, which is perfect for this type of show where the footwork is very detailed. There were 3 performers who did different styles on their own & in groups. All were truly AMAZING & I didn't want it to end.... Highly Recommended!!!
This was our favorite Flamenco experience in Spain. Outstanding artists - both the dancers and the musicians. We never got around to using the museum ticket to visit that so I can’t comment on that part.
Great show, experienced dancers and musicians with lots of emotion and expertise. Get there early to get a seat close to the stage. We went to the museum before and after the show and fun there acting out flamenco dancing and learning about the history. Be aware if you have a ticket for a late show the museum might be closed. We also learned when we arrived that the tickets would have been cheaper if we got them directly from the venue instead of on Trip Advisor.
Absolutely stunning. Such a spectacular show. Amazing dancers and music. Enjoyed the museum too. Well worth going to.
Wonderful show and great, informative museum which explained the history, meaning and essence of flamenco dancing. Very much recommended!
The museum is very interesting. Before our visit we knew nothing of flamenco. Then we went to the show. It left us speechless. It was so amazing and passionate. The Spanish guitarist's music was absolutely beautiful . We hace never experienced anything as powerful.
Flamenco Show with Optional Flamenco Museum Ticket GYGMX5GV92ZQ We got there at about the time the sun was setting and was told we had to wait 15 minutes. We did, and then found that they opened and most of the good seats were taken. In addition, the museum tickets were $8 extra and the museum was closed for the day, so we had to make a separate trip the next day to see it. The show was fair to good, but did NOT represent the movie shown in the museum, which was far more entertaining. Also, the museum has several floors, including a basement floor that no one told us about. All in all, the show was an experience, but lacked something, and the museum is a must see even if you do not watch the actual show. Ps, they serve alcohol drinks and have a gift shop.
Reality exceeded expectations in this case, the guitarist and the 2 singers alone were more than worth the entrance fee! Dancers were also excellent, a high performance show, with a very talented group of artist's!
This is by far the best flamenco show I have seen. Comprising only one guitarist, male and female singer, two female dancers and one male dancer. The stage is small and the audience sits close up. The dancing is excellent and the magic of the musician, dancers and singers working together as a unit is beautiful to watch. There is a flow to the entire show and the passion and committment of each one is so evident. I have watched other flamenco shows and this is one is by far the best. I would recommend arriving early and sitting near the front. The museum is worth a look too. Reasonably priced. Staff at the entrance can speak English and there is a small store at the entrance.
The museum was interesting, definitely worth the visit. The Flamenco dancers, musicians and vocalist were superb. We really enjoyed our evening. The only negative is that it would have been good to have been given the opportunity to take a group photograph at the end of the performance.
Show was amazing. Time flew! The dancers and musicians were such great performers. The museum was interesting but slightly difficult to orientate.
This is a MUST. It was one of the best museums I have ever experienced. The guide at the museum was fun, informative, and thorough.
Perfect for first time visitors. Gives you a good taste of Flamenco without overdoing it. The museum is very interesting, too. Highly recommend.
Fantastic experience. Wonderful dancing in a great space. Good value for money too. Museum interesting.
The museum was interesting, but the show was fantastic! Loved the cozy environment, appreciated the air conditioning and the tinto de verano drinks available. The dancers were outstanding, energetic and passionate; loved every moment of it. I highly recommend!
The Seville flamenco show was excellent! The beautiful dancing, enchanting music, and wonderful costumes created a mesmerizing experience. This is a must-visit cultural experience that truly captures the heart and soul of Seville. Highly recommend this show for anyone visiting!
Amazing flamenco dancers, guitarist & musicians! Up close & personal. Best to arrive early to reserve a seat. My husband brought his book & enjoyed a glass of wine to reserve our seats while I toured the museum. Nice to understand the history & famous flamenco artists.
What a performance, really could follow along with the story and such a remarkable art! The museum was a great addition to the experience and able to see the journey of it all. Would highly recommend!
Absolutely loved this show!! So much passion from the performers and the quality was perfection. Plus, very intimate seating was awesome. Thanks so much!
The museum was interesting but the flamenco show was truly outstanding. We have seen a lot of flamenco over the years…..however this truly showed the emotion behind the dance….and the guitarist was perhaps the best I have ever seen. Fabulous. Make sure you get to the theatre early since seating is first come first served.
The content of the museum is very bad but the show is superb,so just take a ticket only to the show, because onlt dome pictures and videos o flamenco on the museum and no expkanation on its origin, evolution
Excellent flamenco dance show in an intimate setting - the performers were too rate The guitarist was superb too
Informative and interesting museum, and excellent, entertaining Flamenco Dance Show. Very enjoyable evening. Suggest visiting the museum before sitting for the show ( be sure to be early to get a good seat!) This will give you a better insight into the different types of dance.
Very interesting to learn about the various forms of Flamenco as well as the history. The performance was exceptional!
Excellent Flamenco Show. Plus to see the Museum. Great Value for the money. Easy to book and very courteous staff at the site. Were able to get great seats.
very nice performance, a very good experience for our trip. no need to visit the museum, there is not much in the museum. , just come for the show is good.
The flamenco performances were amazing! We were very impressed with the caliber of talent for the guitarist, singers, and all 3 dancers! Such energetic and intense performances, better than we expected! I would definitely recommend this in Seville, 5 stars!
If you want to experience the passion, energy, skill, tempo and vitality that is flamenco, then there is nowhere better than the Flamenco Dance Museum in Seville. The dancers, singers and guitarist were incredible. It was completely mesmerising from the moment they first tapped their shoe on the well worn floorboards of the stage. It was an amazing experience...my only wish is that we had been allowed to take photos but I understand the reasoning behind it not being allowed...instead we all sat and enjoyed being present in the moment, lost in the music and dance. Such an honour and a thrill to experience.
The flamenco dancers put on a captivating performance. There was sangria to sip while enjoying the show. The museum had a gift shop to pick up flamenco-inspired souvenirs. The museum may be small, but it had an informative video, beautiful costumes, and paintings all detailing Seville’s flamenco history.
Amazing experience! Fully enjoyed both the singers and the dancers. It is a night to be remembered by all in our family.
Even though I wasn't in the secret VIP underground tavern, the main hall was intimate...and if you sit close enough, you'll hear the dancers' thoughts. The dancing was ofcourse, top notch. The display was interactive and it's worth planning ahead to spend enough time exploring it. The upstairs gallery featured amazing bolero designs by Nuria Moraza
Would like to take one pic to remember the show. The dancers were wonderful. The chairs are a little uncomfortable.
Visited museum prior to show. As informed, seating was unassigned, so get in line early for best view! Very professional performances by dancers and musicians.
What a wonderful flamenco show! My family and I had a wonderful time and went to the museum afterwards. I would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys flamenco and dance.
