My wife and I were lucky enough to have our own private tour which the company gracefuly honoured. Our guide, Zarapico, was brilliant: informative, helpful and entertaining. His knowledge of the town was detailed, but it was the clear love he has for Carmona and surrounding area that made this trip special and anything but corporate. We would never have seen the view from the Paramor hotel terrace without him, or the mosaic in the town hall. Thank you Zarapico, and Naturanda, for an unforgettable experience.

Cultures like that of the Carthaginians, the Romans, Muslims and the last ones, the Christians, have left their mark important in this place.
We will walk throught the old town by its narrow streets, that are typical from an Andalusian town, discovering so many Mudejar temples and convents.

Carmona was very nice to visit. Our guide Jose Luis made it interesting and fun. I would recommend visiting Carmona with Jose Luis if you have visited the majority of the main attractions in Seville.
The driver was so helpful with my mother and the heat. He accommodated all we needed!
Great tour from Seville from our small cruise ship. Miguel was a good guide/driver. Because this was a private tour we requested our pick-up from the ship. Viator told us that we had to get ourselves to the Naturanda office for the pick-up. We did the 15 minute walk to the Naturanda office from our ship. Miguel was prompt at 9:30 and brought the van up to us. He commented that for private tours he normally picks guests up from their hotel or the ship but Viator has stopped them from doing that on the last 3 private tours he has guided. Ours from our ship and 2 others from hotels. The hotel guests had to either walk ot taxi further away from their hotel for the pick-up spot. So if booking for a private tour you should insist on pick-up from your hotel or the ship. The drive to the Necropolis was uneventful. The site is really good. We have done many roman ruins and burial sites. This site is real and not super turistic which was great. The small museum was educational. We enjoyed it. We then toured Carmona. It was Palm Sunday. We were able to visit inside 2 Catholic Churches during Mass; very special for us. We were dropped at our ship, not the Naturanda office by Miguel. Very nice half day tour. Our only wish was that Viator did not mess with Naturanda picking up private bookings from their hotel or the ship. We recommend this tour for anyone desiring to see Roman history and a very cute city.
Excellent experience. Jose Luis, our tour guide was very knowleadgeable and entertaining, Really beautiful town, very authentic. We recommend this tour 100%.
Our guide Ivan provided an excellent and informative trip this morning. There were 7 of us in the bus and the commentary was both English and Spanish, we paced and excellent detail. We walked round Old Town Carmona, visited the oldest church and the Alcazar ( for the view as its now a hotel) and Ivan gave a great history background. We then went to the Roman Necropolis for another fab piece of history. Great half day out. Thank you Ivan
This half day tour was excellent. Our Guide Jose Luis was very engaging and full of interesting information. He took us all over the small town of Carmona and showed us corners not normally seen with other tours. We were a small group and he provided and unforgettable tour. He made sure that everyone understood his explanations. He took us up to the tower and provided so much interesting history about this quaint town. He even dropped us off closer to Plaza de Espana as a favor and we were very grateful. We took three tours with Naturanda tour company and would use them again.
Was a short & pleasant tour. Tour guy (Alisteid) was very attentive, narrative, kind & friendly . Was a quiet tour.
Our guide had both English and Spanish-speaking visitors on the tour and flowed freely from one language to the next. He was knowledgeable about the Necropolis and the town of Carmona. We started the tour at the Necropolis and also visited the small museum there. Then we drove to the old town of Carmona, set in a hill overlooking a lovely agricultural plain with a Roman bridge in the distance. We walked through the Cordoba Gate, and along the main “thoroughfare of the town, stopping to learn more about the historic churches, main square and the defensive gates. We ended at the Seville gate and drove back to Seville.
Our time in Carmona with guide José was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable, charming and offered an intimate and varied tour of Carmona, not only showing us the Roman Necropolis but also amazing views and sights we wouldn't normally have gotten to see around the stunning town. Can't recommend it enough. Thanks for a memorable time
Jose Luus was a great guide. He was so kind and really cared that everyone was having a good time. Thank you for a good experience.
Amazing trip to Carmona. Nacho was an incredible guide. Did the tour with friends. I advise going in a day with a good weather.
Very nice tour! Had Jesus as guide, great guy and a lot of fun. Carmona is beautiful and the Roman tombs are quite impressive. Would definitely recommend!
Jose Luis was a generous and informative guide. He led us on a guided tour through the entire city of Carmona and the adjacent Necroplis and had great knowledge of the culture and history. You can tell he loves what he does. He was patient with us too
Jose Luis (Pepe) was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and fun. Talked about Carmona and its history. A lot of fun facts about food and other cultural aspects. Wanted to try torta Inglesa, made by the monastery but they were sadly closed.
Our group consisted of just six people and our guide Peter. We enjoyed the tour , Peter was very friendly and gave us lots of information which made the visit more interesting than if we had gone by ourselves on public transport.
Peter and Enrique gave us a very interesting, informative tour of Carmona, despite Covid restrictions and a cycle race through the town which meant certain areas were closed off. They went out of their way to provide an excellent tour.
Ana our guide was enthusiastic and informative. We visited all the important sites and even bought an English Cake from a convent and ate it with coffee we purchased in the Market Square in Carmona. The outing would have been fantastic if it had been slightly longer and it had been possible to have lunch as well.

Actually, there was not enough people signed up for this tour so I was put into a tour to the ancient Roman city ruin of Italica instead. There were only 3 of us needing audio guide in English, the rest were Spanish speakers. I thought the tour guide handled it very well. It was impressive and I am very thankful for his effort. Italica was an interesting visit. I enjoyed walking inside the amphitheater and its service corridors underneath the brick/stone bleachers. It was also great to see the Roman drainage system from more than 2200 years ago perfectly preserved to this day. Unfortunately, the rest of Italica is barren - remains of knee-high brick walls and mosaic tile floors are pretty much all you see, and it is not easy to visualize how the city used to look like by just walking around the empty city blocks. We also visited a nearby monastery of historical significance from Christianity point of view. A stop at local pub for a shot of sweet orange wine was nice too.

We had a last minute chance to do a tour on our last day. Carmona sounded good. Waiting at the departure point with our ticket , asking each arriving bus - is this us - No they said , you've got Carlos. Next bus - same thing , you've got Carlos . he will be here soon. He was - and I have to say that Carlos was the most informative, communicative ,pleasant and amusing guide I have ever come across - in 25 years of travelling. It was therefore no surprise to find that he was in fact a history graduate and teacher. We explored the town of Carmona with its 3000 year old Necropolis , castle/ cathedral and convents - with hardly any tourists. As Carlos said - it is not on the radar of the big tourist companies - YET. The history of this town was amazing- and the recovery of the relics is to be commended The old village was really amazing and the renovated palace would have to be the best kept secret for accommodation. Next time in Spain , I think I will stay here Thanks Carlos - I know now how the Romans measured 1 carat for their gold (amongst other history gems) Very strongly recommended

We were very impressed with our tour guide, Miguel. He was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and enthusiastic!
Unfortunately, because of a lot of recent rain and downed trees, the Necropolis was not open the day we went. But Miguel substituted with taking us into the Fortress of the Gate of Seville. We had a full tour of the inside and went to the top and also he drove us around to the back gate, the Door of Cordoba.
We then went to a beautiful hotel that used to be a Palace.
Unbeknownst to Miguel, the Viator tour description was slightly different than his tour, so when we asked about the Santa Maria Church we were supposed to go to, he called his company and confirmed that was in our description. So, he took us to the church, which was his first time there too, and because of his historical background, he explained the highlights of the church.
An additional positive for the tour company, Naturanda Turismo Ambiental, we signed up for a group tour, but my husband and I were the only ones that signed up for the trip but they did not cancel on us...we had a private tour at a group price!

Beautiful. Unfortunately it was hard to understand our guide's English.

Great tour with Julián, Carmona spectacular town
Very nice organization and a very nice visit. Thank you to Martina and her team for this day
I give five stars to the Lucas guide who was outstanding, the best person to talk about the history and navigate the organization of the tour to offer us the best experience. However, I give Naturanda 1 star for organization. The circuit that is presented in the offer is not the one delivered to us. First, we booked the tour in French that was offered. Fortunately, the guide was able to juggle French and English throughout the tour, because we were the only French. The itinerary was to include a 2 hour trip to the necropolis and the Roman ruins (which was the part we were most interested in) and a 2 hour trip to the city. close the site at 17:45 (we were supposed to leave Seville at 16:00, but after picking up the other participants at different points, we arrived at the necropolis at 17:30) and the rest of the tour we walked around the city. Luckily the guide was really professional.
Perfect , a beautiful village and an exceptional guide solves any doubts thanks for everything José Luis one day.
Necropolis not visited on Saturday 1 November. According to the guide, the site was closed on that day. The visit to Carmona was not so bad despite the falling darkness.
The reservation was made and paid from September 21, 2025. Carmona's visit was scheduled for October 15, at 11 am. The day before at 8:00 p.m., they phoned me and told me that the planned and paid visit would not take place because we were only two people registered and it WAS NOT COST EFFECTIVE. Just like that. They did not mind cancelling a contract, already paid for, a few hours earlier, nor did they mind the damage caused by a trip prepared for that reason. If I hadn't turned up at the scheduled time, I would have lost the cost of the visit. They didn't have any penalties. But, what's more. Almost a week has elapsed since the breakdown of the visit commitment, I HAVE NOT BEEN REFUNDED THE MONEY I PAID A MONTH AGO. IT IS NOT MUCH, 32€, BUT I THINK IT IS A LACK OF SERIOUSNESS THAT SETS A LOUSY EXAMPLE OF THIS TOUR COMPANY AND IMPAIRS THE IMAGE OF OUR COUNTRY.
Terrible experience and therefore unforgettable. I booked through Tripadvisor a guided tour of the cathedral and the Alcazar, in ITALIAN, at the agency Naturanda. When I printed the ticket collection voucher above it said TOUR MONUMENTALE ITALIANO and below "monumental route english", which I honestly did not notice. On the day of the visit I discovered that the tour was exclusively in English. Now if I go to reprint the voucher I no longer get "MONUMENTAL ITALIAN TOUR", but "route monumental english" comes out. But I kept the old one and sent it to him asking for a partial refund. There was another foreign client at Naturanda who had the same thing happen to them. My advice is to book guided tours on site, or better yet to take an audio guide, so you are also freer to tour and stay as much as you want, because both the cathedral and the Alcazar are very large. Or if you really want to book do not go through other operators, like this, but contact directly the agency that provides the service.
Very interesting excursion to Carmona, city worth visiting, with visit to the necropolis. Our guide Jesus was interesting, dynamic and very attentive. To advise without reservation!
We did a very nice tour and Manuela dedicated all the time and took care of me super well asked all my doubts and made me feel very good I will repeat without a doubt!!
Beautiful visit despite the weather and great guide:Jesus, interesting and funny I strongly advise.................. ..
Carmona is a very quaint little town that is worth seeing, if possible staying even one night. The visit gets even more points if you are accompanied by José Luis, a really experienced guide, passionate about the places and available to answer any curiosity. It was he who made the trip even more enjoyable and fun!
I think our expectations were higher than we found. The truth is that our guide, Julian, is a crack and he gets the knowledge and taste for his work all over the pores of the skin. Still, the visit to the necropolis, very detailed, and to the village, shorter, has not filled us much. Surely the impression is better doing the excursion in the morning; I think seeing the village at night and with the weather unclear, has negatively influenced our perception.
Carmona is a very interesting town. José Luis, our guide, paid us an extraordinary visit and was able to appreciate the Jewish Quarter, the Parador, the Puerta de Sevilla, the wonderful main church and the Roman Necropolis.
Very nice visit to Carmona with a super competent and friendly guide. It was a beautiful morning! Thank you José Luis!
All phenomenal, our Nieves Guide was wonderful, Carmona a beautiful city, with a lot of history. I wish there was also a guided 1-day visit to Ecija.
Julian a magnificent Guide, very prepared, with interesting and enjoyable explanations. Also, very friendly and attentive. Answering each of the doubts and questions very kindly.
The visit was very pleasant, Julian gave us a lot of information throughout the day and answered very kindly each of the questions we asked him. We had a great day
Very nice experience nacho our Naturanda Guide led us to relive that time....very well preserved the constructions....very nice landscapes....
Es un tour muy bien organizado que permite conocer la.zona arqueológica y el casco histórico de Carmona, una ciudad con un legado romano impresionante.
Jose is an excellent guide The beautiful town, the beautiful architecture, the vehicle very comfortable. The incredible landscape of the Guadalquidir Valley
A regular experience, the tour guide has hardly explained anything about a town that has an impressive heritage. What he explained to me, I could have read, and on top of that they charge each person 15 euros in advance, an abuse. Of course the best is a freetoir.
Very beautiful typical Andalusian town, with several churches with remains from Arab times and convents, a very beautiful food plaza with arcades, with its impressive Alcázar, its gates to Seville and Córdoba, a very well preserved archaeological complex, with a necropolis and theater Roman, its Plaza de San Felipe, highly recommended and surprising visit👌
Carlos, our guide, was attentive, funny and very diligent. Carmona showed us a lot of information and good vibes.
Visit Carmona and Cordoba. Excellent activity, thanks to the professionalism of the guide in charge, Snow. Very good information about the sites visited, very good explanations. All your advice has been very successful. To emphasize the professionalism of the guide of the mosque of Cordoba Recommended activity.
Notre guide francophone Lucas a fait son travail à la perfection. On sent bien qu'on a à faire à quelqu'un qui aime transmettre sa passion.
Carmona could be a world heritage site. Carlos our guide enlightened us about his history in a pleasant way and walked us through its streets from the necropolis to the alcazar-parador with beautiful views. Too bad we couldn't get into St. Mary's Church.
We emphasize the professionalism and kindness of our guide, Mr. Miguel Álvarez Aladrén. Especially your special attention and care with some physical difficulty of one of us.
