Excellent tour of the beautiful and historical city of Seville. Very comfortable coach for the 1 hr 45 ride fr port. Guide Francisco very friendly n knowledgeable-narrating otw. Then split into small groups -our town guide marina was fantastic-she brought the scenes to life-plaza decespana and especially the amazing alcazar royal palace. And had abt 2 hrs free time in the city. All in all a great tour

We were on a cruise and booked with Spain Day from Motril port for Granada (Alhambra Palace) and from Cadiz port for Seville (and the Alcazar). Really great days and a lovely company from booking through to the tour. Very responsive and clear process in bookings (you need to provide a passport or government ID for tickets to both Alhambra and Alcazar -- apparently tour companies booked up all the tickets and resold at a premium, so those national sites now have individual personalized tickets to try to prevent the mark-up). We liked the company's approach: the company uses a bigger bus (clean, smooth and comfortable), but divides people into smaller groups of 12-18 to actually visit the sites. The guides were all knowledgeable and passionate about their work and a headset was provided so it was easy to hear. Following the visit of the main site, we had free time in the town (I had done my own research of what we wanted to see, but the guides provided suggestions and were available), to explore on our own, have some lunch, do a bit of souvenir shopping. Unlike other companies we were not taken to some gift shop and stuck there -- you do exactly as the itinerary -- in our case a main site and another site, and then free time in the town with a clear meeting point. The day was interesting, enjoyable and I had confidence we would be back in port with comfortable time to get on the ship. The guide shared history and context on the bus ride out, but on the way back we were able to just relax and reflect on what we had seen, which I appreciated. I don't enjoy being talked at for hours. The Alhambra in particular is incredible -- so beautiful, slightly exotic. The gardens and vista are breathtaking, and the architecture is truly magnificent. I would recommend Spain Day (Top Day) to my friends and family and would book with them again.
Our driver, Juan, was fantastic, and our experienced tour guides were knowledgeable, helpful, and accommodating. Unfortunately, the overall tour experience fell short of expectations. We understand that the drive to and from Seville takes a considerable amount of time. However, our ship did not require us to return until 6:00 PM, yet we were back onboard by 3:30 PM. This left us wondering why so much valuable tour time was cut short. Our time in Seville was extremely limited. We barely had enough time to enjoy the Alcázar, and there was no opportunity to shop or even sit down for lunch. In fact, we were left hungry and disappointed that we couldn’t experience more of what Seville had to offer. The visit to the Alcázar was enjoyable (admission was €15.50), but considering the nearly $150 per person cost of the excursion and a bus carrying approximately 42 passengers, the overall value was difficult to justify. I can generally make the best of any travel experience, and we certainly enjoyed parts of the day. However, given the price, the limited time in Seville, and the early return to the ship, I would have difficulty recommending this excursion to others. There was potential for a much better experience, but unfortunately, the tour did not deliver the value or time in Seville that we expected.
We joined Spain Tours to Granada. The two hour bus trip was interesting and engaging, exploring the story of Spain’s olive industry. The tour of Alhambra Palace was first class, informative, engaging and at a perfect pace. The organisation was exemplary and I wholly recommend Spain Tours. Alhambra was stunning, with gorgeous gardens, breathtaking views and inspiring and colourful architecture. Thank you.
Perhaps because it is a family run business, our tour from Cadiz port to Seville was the least costly option. It was also flawless. Before booking, Emilia answered all my questions. After the tour, we left something on the bus and Emilia contacted the bus company enabling us to retrieve it. Our guide was excellent. We also booked a Lisbon tour with them.
Great guide. Small groups. Explains the plan clearly. No stress getting back on the ship. Highly recommend!
This group is wonderful to deal with! Very good with communication and the tour guides are excellent. We used them for a tour of Alhambra from the Motril cruise port. The motor coach transfer was smooth and timely with great information as well. I would highly suggest using them!
This is the second cruise that I have used Spain Day Tours for shore excursions and I will continue to do so! They are an incredible company, easy to communicate with, attentive to your wants and needs and all tour guides and drivers have been welcoming, professional, incredibly knowledgeable and I can honestly say have made every tour a memorable one. Pricing of the tours are competitive if not cheaper than those offered through the cruise line - including private depending on your group size, and the inclusion of entry tickets with skip the line entry to most attractions saves time and money during your short time ashore. I honestly cannot come up with one negative thing to say about the company or their employees and if you are looking for a reliable company that offers top notch tour services this is the company for you!!
This tour was an excellent way to see the highlights of Seville in a small group. Guillermo was an awesome guide. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. The Alcázar tour was the best part of the tour. Pick up at the cruise port was quick and efficient. I highly recommend this tour for a day outing for cruise passengers.
Spain Day Tours provided an excellent experience on both the Cádiz/Seville tour and the Granada tour. Communication before and during the tours was prompt and professional, making everything stress-free from start to finish. The meeting point instructions were clear and easy to follow, which made joining the tours seamless. Both guides were engaging, knowledgeable, and informative, bringing the history and culture of each destination to life. The tours were very well organized and offered excellent value for money. I highly recommend Spain Day Tours for anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable experience in Andalusia, especially if you're on a cruise and need a reliable operator for the short time you are in port.
On time, thorough, responsive to pre-tour inquiries. Excellent!
Tour operator was wonderful. My only complaint is that we should not wait for people who are 20 minutes late.
On time and on their game, this was a wonderful way to taste Seville in a day trip. Danny, our guide, was excellent: personable, knowledgeable and enthusiastic.
Our day trip to Seville was fantastic. Our Tour Guide, Frank, was extremely informative and could answer any question asked. Although the trip was on a full size bus, the driver was able to get us near most sights very closely. I would highly recommend this tour group.
My wife and I took the Seville Tour - starting at the port in Cadiz and taking a bus to Seville. Setting up the day with Spain Day Tours was very easy...and the tour itself was fantastic. From the bus, we were divided into several small walking groups. We were thoroughly impressed by our tour guide (Vivianna)….she was extremely knowledgable, friendly and made the day very special for us. There is so much to see in Seville…and we can’t wait to return at some point in the future. This was one of our favorite tours over the course of our Celebrity cruise. My wife and I have highly recommended Spain Day Tours to our friends. The Spain Day Tour team is exceptional!!
Enjoyed our day in Sentra. We started out as a large group on a tour bus, but when we got to Centra, we were broken down into smaller groups, consisting of 5 to 6 people in each group. Francisco was our guide throughout the day and took great care of us and provided extensive information of the sights. We had tickets to see The Alcazar Palace and it didn’t disappoint. Great tour!
This is an excellent excursion that shows all the highlights of Seville. We thoroughly enjoyed the guide, the stops, and the sites. The free-time was also appreciated as we had some lunch and did a fun photo shoot dressed as sultans. Great experience!
Had a lovely experience on our Seville Cruise excursion. We met right outside the port. After a 2 hr bus ride from Cadiz, we arrived in Seville. We first explored the Plaza de España, then walked through the Jewish Quarter and ended at the Alcazar. We then had free time to shop and eat lunch before heading back to the meeting place and making the journey back to the cruise port. Our tour guide was full of information about the flora and fauna as we walked through the city. She was a wealth of knowledge about the sites we saw.
The 2 tours we experienced with Spain Day were great. The tour guides were punctual and they were organized. They provided a lot of interesting information about the places we went to. We would definitely go with Spain Day tours for other tours we will go to.
We had two great shore excursions with Spain DayvTours the first Cadiz to Seville including the Alcazaar and the second from Motril to Grandad and the Alhambra. Both were excellent. The guides were fabulous and did a good job of steering everything in the right direction. We went on a big coach and then when we reached the cities we broke up into groups of 12. Based on my experience I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the company for shore excursions to either place.
Loved Seville. Would like to go back and spend more time. Guide from Cadiz to Seville tried hard to entertain and share information on 1.5 hour bus ride...I respect him for his English as a 2nd language, but it was difficult at times to understand. While in Seville he really made a great effort to please and ensure we enjoyed the excursion. The lady who took over in Seville as our guide (separated into smaller groups) was OK, she shared a lot of information but there was no rhythm or flow and made it difficult to follow. We appreciated thier sharing of knowledge and recognized thier love of thier home...Seville.
Excellent tour company. Booked two tours with Spain Tours during our recent trip to Spain. We were on a cruise and was such an easy process booking with them, They picked us up from the Port, took us on our tour to Seville, and Granada. At Seville we went to Alcazar. Truly beautiful, and Granada we visited Alhambra. The tour guides were full of knowledge. Usually book through the cruise ships but this time l decided to book with Spain Tours. So glad we did.
A very efficient pick up in aircon coach. A knowledgeable and interesting coach guide. When dropped the tour guide was incredibly captivating and knowledgeable.
The good news...Our guide was superior! She was so well versed in the history and architecture of this tour! The beauty of the palace was breathtaking and we did have some time on our own to grab a bite and explore. The bad news...SUPER EARLY in the morning and long bus ride. Tour was to meet between 7:30 and 7:45. I was getting calls asking where we were at 7:40, then waited for others after rushing to the meeting point, even though we were actually early. Although it's a very long day, it felt like it went fairly quickly. I would recommend if you don't mind early mornings and long days.
Great tour, highly recommended, our guides Frank snd Marina were excellent
Guys. I'm always skeptical abt booking faceless online and all. But this company, specially Emilia made me feel at ease. After doing my due diligence, let me tell you firsthand, you got nothing to worry about. Booking, arranging payment, meeting the guide, and even putting in your request was easy. They are very responsive and professional. Trustworthy and honest. We were able to see all the highlights of this seville tour. Our inner city guide to the alcazar fast tracked us into the castle and always made sure we were in the shade due to the extreme heat. Will re-book with them for sure every time we go to Spain, and wherever they operate.
This is a large bus group tour. It’s buried in the listing that there could be up to 18 people in your group but we were with about 30 people. I felt misled by the listing as I thought it was going to be a more intimate experience for us to see Seville. Also, we had trouble finding the bus (they said we should’ve known to meet outside of the terminal - which mean outside of the terminal, outside of the gate so we stood around about 30 yards from the bus waiting, unknowingly). They eventually sent a photo of where they were located and we were literally in the photo standing just in front of them. When we finally figured it out and got on the bus, the tour guide called us out over the intercom twice for being late - even though we were still on the bus 4 min before we were scheduled to depart. It was embarrassing and unnecessary for them to treat us like that. Read the description closely before booking!
Amazing experience, the tour guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. The bus was on time both for pick up and drop off. The tour itself was spectacular.
This was our second tour with Spain Day tours. The first was about 18 months ago. I chose to go with them again as they are efficient and strict with times. No worries about getting back to port on time even though it’s a long drive to Seville. Their guides are excellent and helpful. They respond to queries immediately, the guides and buses are on time and the buses are comfortable. At the site, we break up into pre-arranged smaller groups. We
Pickup and dropoff at the cruise ship terminal went smoothly. Transportation was in a comfortable air conditioned coach bus which had both USB-A and USB-C chargers up by the air vents which was nice. The guide on the 90 min bus ride was ok but had perhaps a bit too much to say…. Our tour guide in Seville, Rocio, was very good. She used little radios that made it easy to hear and understand her as we toured around. Plaza de Espana in Seville was beautiful. The Cathedral of Seville was also beautiful but I wish the tour could have included that (inside) too. The Alcazar was very impressive and we enjoyed the tour a lot.
We really enjoyed the tours to Seville. Our second day trip was from the port of Motril to Granada. Spain Day Tours was easy to deal with and gave us the best tour options to allow us the most time in these cities. The Alhambra and Alcazar were amazing to see! The company picked us up from the cruise port and the guide stayed with us until the local guide gave us more detailed information at the sites. Emilia was great communicating all the details to make this a smooth trip. I would recommend touring with them again. The cost of the tour is very reasonable too.
I took three full days (cruise excursion) tours through Spain Day Tours. The first was Cadiz/Seville, then Lisbon/Sintra/Cascais and finally Palma de Mallorca. All tour guides were at the locaitons when we arrived and the tour company communicated clearly with us up until the meeting point. The tours were incredibly well thought out and the guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend Spain Day Tours
We took two different tours with Spain Day Tours, and both were exceptional. Everything was extremely well organized, the buses were comfortable, and the drivers were truly impressive. We experienced no issues at all. The guides were fantastic as well—knowledgeable, friendly, and always available to help. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and would highly recommend Spain Day Tours to anyone.
We were picked up just outside the port. The motor coach was comfortable and had plenty of room for everyone. The tour itself was informative and interesting. The tour guide was knowledgeable and easy to understand. We’ve used Spain Day Tours in the past multiple times, and this tour definitely did not disappoint!
took Spain Day Tours from Cadiz port off NCL viva to Seville. We had no issues and the bus was comfortable. We had time when we got back to walk around Cadiz for a bit.
This was a great tour. We were picked up directly outside the cruise terminal and had a very comfortable bus ride to Seville. Our guide was easy to understand and provided good information about Seville and sites we were visiting.
We used Spain Day Tours for a full day tour to Seville from our cruise port in Cadiz Spain. We had a great experience with the company. The team was very professional from the initial contact to the local guide, with clear communication and smooth organization throughout. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the city’s history come alive. The itinerary was well planned, giving us a good balance of guided highlights and some free time to explore. Overall, a well-organized and enjoyable tour—highly recommend for anyone wanting an easy and stress-free visit to Seville.
I had a wonderful tour. I learned a lot about Cadiz and Seville and our tour guide was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Francisco was a good guide and helped us decide where to go during our free time. I enjoyed the time spent walking and investigating, and especially arriving at sites before the guests on the ship tours did.
This eight-hour tour is well worth the time to visit Seville from Cadiz. Brand new Mercedes bus with excellent driver. Tour guide Oscar met us outside our cruise terminal along with 42 other from our ship. He made sure everyone was there although our ship was about 15 minutes late. He provided a good general narrative on the 80 to 90 minutes drive to Seville. The 44 were split into three groups. We were in Carmen's group. She provided an informative and enthusiastic description of the Plaza Espania and the Royal Alcazar. We had an hour for lunch and shopping. Good use of the limited time we had in port.
Excellent tour put together by Spain Day Tours. We had a group from the Equinox; about 30-40 signed up through their website. We were broken up into small groups for the guided portion of the tour. Lots of free time to enjoy a lite meal before returning to the ship. Well organized tour. Plan to use them again on return trip to Barcelona.
Our Cadiz to Seville tour was on one of the better weather days off our cruise. We were picked up on time at the cruise gate (in fact although we were there we got messages asking us where we were!). We were booked in a group of 12 and as explained beforehand we travelled with another group in a large coach - which was very comfortable. The guide was very informative and friendly for the 1.5 hour journey to and back from Seville. Unfortunately I do not recall his name which I think began with an A. When we got to Seville we were split into 2 smaller groups and our guide was the lovely Noemi. She was absolutely terrific throughout - very knowledgeable and helpful. We were all issued with headphones to listen to her guiding, which was very clear. Having driven in Seville passed the country "pavilions" we started at Plaza de Espana, not a square at all! Having heard information and taken photos there we then moved on to the old Jewish quarter which was very interesting to see and hear about. After a short break we moved on to the Alcazar, the main part of the tour, where Noemi guided us around giving us lots of information throughout. I think that took us about 90 minutes in all and at the ned Noemi was also happy to take those who wanted to a special art exhibition going on inside. She then left us and we really enjoyed her tour. We then had I think about 45m time for something to eat and if we wanted walk around the cathedral and area, before meeting altogether and walking through the town to the bullring area by the river, again seeing interesting sights, on our way back to the coach. We arrived back after 15.30, with our cruise departing at 16.30, even giving us a little time in Cadiz. Overall - excellent day and tour.
We just did two tours with Spain Day and loved both of them. The first was to Seville from Cadiz, the second to Alhambra from Motril. It was early December, so the tours only had about 25-30 people. They transported us in a large bus (with plenty of room to spread out because it had so few passengers) to each location. They had a tour guide on board who gave plenty of information. When we arrived at both Seville and the Alhambra, we broke into small groups with 10-12 people and a new guide. All the guides were great and gave us plenty of history and flavor. Our favorite was the Alhambra just because it's such an amazing place to visit. Seville is about 90 minutes from the port, while the Alhambra is about 60 minutes away. In both cases, Spain Day tours made sure we were back in plenty of time before the all aboard time. Great tours and much cheaper than using the ship excursions. I'd absolutely recommend them.
We took two tours with Spain Day Tours from the Sun Princess in our ports Barcelona and Cádiz (Seville). Both tours were well-organized and outstanding. Spain Day Tours communicated frequently and clearly prior to each tour with reminders about expectations as well as the meeting time and location. We were met promptly at the cruise port and escorted to our van (for Barcelona) and bus (for Seville). The Barcelona City Tour was everything we had expected and more. Elena was a professional and energetic guide. Her enthusiasm for Barcelona and Gaudi was evident. Park Guell and La Sagrada Familia were absolutely fantastic. We learned so much about the architect Gaudi and his influence from Elena. We made several photo stops at other locations, too. It was truly an enjoyable and memorable day. The Seville tour exceeded our expectations, too. Our guides were enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The guided walking tour of Seville gave us so much detail about the architecture and history of the area. We especially loved the guided tour of the Alcazar and all the interesting details provided. What a beautiful place! It was a full, memorable day of touring that we thoroughly enjoyed. We give these tours and Spain Day Tours our highest recommendation. We will recommend Spain Day Tours to others and will definitely use them again when returning to Spain!
During our cruise, we took tours with Spain Day Tours in four of our ports, Palma de Mallorca, Malaga, Cartagena and Cadiz. Each tour was well run and enjoyable. There was free time built in to exploring each city. Communication leading up to the cruise was clear and well done. Questions were promptly answered. We would definitely recommend them to others and will use them again when the opportunity presents itself.
This company is really top notch! Starting with the customer service and great communication all the way to a fantastic tour! The tour was exactly as advertised and included a guide to really help understand a lot of history. We used Spain day tours for multiple tours and were very happy with all of them! Highly recommend them to anyone looking for an excursion!! The tours were much cheaper than through the cruise ship, and they were with smaller groups. The guides were easy to find at the ports, knowledgeable, and paid much attention to keeping the group on the time schedule needed.
It was a great tour with a good guide and an amazing bus driver! We were able to see everything on the agenda and we were not rushed.
The tour guides were excellent and provided valuable information. We had three different excursions with Spain Day tours and all were wonderful. We would highly recommend them.
We started with a one and a half hour ride to Seville from port while guide gave us information and history along the way. Once we arrived we visited the Olympic plaza which was pretty amazing and built in 1929 then we drove to the stop for Alcazar Palace and made our way through narrow streets to the Palace which is also very amazing!! After about an hour of free time we met at our designated spot and walked back to the bus for our ride back to port and was dropped off right at our ship. The cathedral was also just outside the palace but didnt have time to go through it but rather stopped at a nice little spot for some lunch
We used Spain Day Tours for the Seville & Alcazar tour from our cruise port of Cadiz rather than using the cruise lines tour. Their pre tour communication was reassuring and helpful since we had never been to Spain and also had concerns about getting back to the ship on time. The guide was very aware of timing and schedules and kept us on pace while still not rushing our experience. Very knowledgable guide, Gram? I believe was his name. The history related to us was amazing and we had about an hour and a half free time to explore the beautiful area around the Alcazar. Highly reputable company and we would use again and recommend.
Our group of 4 could not have been more happier with the shore excursion arranged by Spain Day tours. From the start they were extremely friendly and professional in their communication, they even collected our booked tickets to Seville Cathedral that we had purchased privately. The tour was a fantastic experience and we visited places that we did not get to see 10years ago, and the guides were great in their pace and explanations. Spain Day Tours is easily one of the best companies we have dealt with in over 40 years on independent travel. Kevin Camp Australia
