Great guy, great tour. Just the right level of detail. Really interesting and I think we would not have got anywhere near as much out of visiting Real Alcazar without the information and explanations on the tour.

It was as a very smooth experience from booking, contact from the local manager, through to our knowledgeable guide. We choose a ‘small party’ tour which was ideal for us! The guide gave us headphones so we could always hear what he was saying even if he was a few paces ahead of us. Our guide was thoughtful and directed us to less busy areas in the palace and found the shade on a particular hot day! His knowledge of the palace and Spanish history was amazing and he made his information amazing with a little humour! At the end of the tour he suggested other areas we could explore on our own.
Booking was simple and good communication with the Area Manager about the meeting point, timings and name of the guide! We went to Real Alcázar in Seville in a small Party of 10. We had individual headsets so we could hear the guide at all times, even if he was a pace or two ahead of us! (I had my own headphones with a jack connection so used my them but the ones he provided seemed to be comfortable one, over the ear, headphones) Our guide was Andres. He was knowledgeable and had so much information about Seville and its relevance in world history. He guided us to quieter locations within the palace to explain each area and kept us safe by pointing out hidden steps and keeping us in the shade during the hottest part of the day (and it was HOT!) Andres answered any questions we asked him and nothing seemed to be too much trouble! When the tour finished he told us about other areas to visit in the palace grounds Can’t rate him highly enough! Great communication on meeting up. Slick tour. Personally I would’ve enjoyed spending longer wandering the gardens vs the longer history inside - but I realise that’s just my attention span. I feel it was a worthy tour - very popular and you need to book in advance

Carolina was an incredible guide! She was extremely knowledgeable, taught us many things, not only about the Alcazar, but also about the culture of Sevilla, and told many great stories to help paint a picture of the past. She went above and beyond on our tour asking us about our trip, giving us more perspective on some landmarks we visited on our own, and made sure we had plenty of laughs along the way. We would love to take another tour with her and highly recommend trying to book with her in the future!

Andres was a wonderful tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and personable. He took us through the amazing Cathedral giving us many facts about the history, the construction, and the many pieces of art. He then took us through the Alcazar with the same knowledge. Loved my tour guide with his time keeping, attentiveness regarding the paths and steps. It was great as our group only consists of 5 people altogether so very easy to engage as well. Questions were answered well while a little historical facts made it very interesting visit.

Excellent tour of the alcazar. In a small group, only 4 of us. Easy to find the tour guide at the start. He was so informative and infectiously enthusiastic! I learnt so much. Would recommend to anyone visiting Seville. Wouldn’t go with a big group. Book this instead. You won’t regret it.

Wonderful morning exploring the palace and gardens. After having just been to Morocco and Egypt it was great to see the influence the Moors have had in Seville.

Many options available online for touring Réal Alcazar, but this was the best if you want a small group, personal attention, love learning about the history & détails of how it was skillfully built by artisans, its beautiful garden- trees- flowers, & the interesting stories of the many kings, both the cruel & the violent & the kind ones. Also, 1.5 hour was not too long to be tiring. Great price for the experience! ANDRES, the tour guide spoke excellent English, was so fun, friendly & considerate!! He made sure we all could hear him, kept our group comfortable in shaded area, avoiding other crowded tour groups & gave us time to take photos & answered our questions. As the tour only takes maximum of 9 & our group only had 5 people, it was pretty much a private tour with the personal attention to keep even our teenage daughter engaged & interested! Thank you Andres for making it an unforgetable experience for us!! LOVE it!!

I really enjoyed this tour! Our tour was well organised and informed of the history of the place and the headsets were convenient as it can get very busy and would be hard to hear clearly if we didn’t have them. The place itself was stunning and the weather was great for it too!

This tour of the Alcazar was really a tour through time. Our guide did a good job explaining all the layers of history and culture that the Alcazar represent. Visitors are limited, which makes the tour even better. Not for children.
I think our guide’s name was Fernando, and he was outstanding. Alcazar is very beautiful, and in some ways I think it’s even prettier than Alhambra, though on a smaller scale. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Highly recommend!

A wonderful guided tour with the very knowledgeable Andres. The gardens were a particular highlight. A must do when visiting Seville.
Good meeting point just by the cathedral, so easily joined our group. Quickly through security. You now need to have your passport to link with ticket details, so don’t forget yours. The palace is amazing and the guides knowledge and passion shone through. Small group mean you can see what the guide is looking at and ask questions. He dodged the large groups and paced to the group. Tour ends in the garden, so you can have a drink in the cafe before walking back round.
The Real Alcazar is a beautiful place. The group was small as stated in the title of the tour which made it exceptionally memorable. The guide was very polite and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour. Sevilla is a magical place
Our guide, whose name we have unfortunately forgotten, was terrific. He not only knew the history of the Alcazar and its art, he is also a trained botanist who could discuss the garden plants with a member of the tour also interested in botany. Overall, it was an excellent experience.
