This hotel was the introduction to my first ever solo trip, and it was perfection. It's located in one of the most beautiful parts of Seville - walking out into the Santa Cruz neighbourhood in the morning and feeling its bustling magic was so special, and it's also only a 5 minute walk to a stunning park - Jardines de Murillo. There is an incredible view from the roof terrace of the hotel , and a nice bar. The bar staff and reception staff are friendly and welcoming - the woman at reception gave me a map and circled the best places to go for parks , shopping , and explained how to reach places I wanted to visit. The room was immaculate - the facilities in the bathroom are amazing , the hairdryer is very powerful and I loved all the "goodies" in the bathroom , like the small packs of toiletries, body wash , shampoo and conditioner , it feels like a quality stay. I would like to give a special mention to the cleaning staff at this hotel. The lady who cleaned my room worked so hard and made it immaculate every time , and was a warm and friendly person who was kind to me throughout my stay. Thank you so much for helping my first solo trip be a special one. Staying in a location like this helped me truly feel the magic of Sevilla , with a beautiful room to come back to each day.

we had some issues on 1st day of check in re rooming, the first one we got wasnt the vibe and then there was an issue with the changeover on the 2nd day. but throughout the process the staff were wonderful and very helpful and supportive. the communal areas are airy and clean, the cleaners are nice and great at their job (all rooms extremly clean and fresh) the air con is really great the beds are super comfortable and the shower has great pressure. the night manager is particularly nice and kind! on our last day we came back to the room and found a very very kindly gifted bottle of cava as an apology regarding the rooming, that was really thoughtful and very much appreciated. its a great location with bars nearby and everything you need for a weekend in Sevilla. thanks to the hotel team, we'll be back again soon.
Although the hotel had some positive aspects, such as a good location, clean rooms and comfortable beds, our overall experience was seriously affected by a taxi issue arranged through the hotel. We asked the hotel to call a taxi to Santa Justa train station and were told that the fare would be around €10. There was no traffic or unusual delay during the journey, but the final fare was €18.36. What made this more uncomfortable was that the hotel staff member greeted the taxi driver in a friendly and familiar way, so we naturally trusted that this was a regular and reliable arrangement. I contacted the hotel about this. They initially acknowledged that the usual fare should be around €10 and apologized, but later said that the taxi company could not take responsibility because the drivers are independent. After my final message, I did not receive any further response or satisfactory solution. For me, this is not about the amount of money. It is about trust. When a hotel arranges a taxi for its guest, the guest naturally relies on that arrangement. In this case, I felt exposed to an unfair overcharge and the issue was not properly resolved. Also, for families travelling with a baby stroller, the lack of a proper ramp made access difficult. Because of this experience, I would advise future guests to be very careful when arranging taxis through the hotel.
The hotel is located right in Seville's Old Town, which is very convenient for sightseeing. Catedral can be reached in only five minutes by foot. The staff was professional, friendly, and always helpful throughout our stay. Upon arrival, we received a welcoming bottle of cava, which was a nice and surprising gesture. The big breakfast was excellent, offering a good variety of fresh and high-quality products. Alas getting there by car is difficult, even with GPS. I recommend asking the staff beforehand for the best route. Thank goodness they got a good valet parking service, which was well organized and made our stay much easier. Room (126) was spacious, clean and comfortable. There is a lovely rooftop bar with a pool. Overall, a very pleasant experience.
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Rey Alfonso X. The location was excellent, right next to the historic old town and only a 5 minute walk from the cathedral, which made exploring Sevilla very easy. The hotel is modern, spacious and exceptionally clean. Our room was large with a separate sitting area and had both a shower and a bath, something we always appreciate. Although the room did not have a view, we already knew this and chose the extra space and convenience instead. The staff were outstanding from the moment we arrived. They kindly arranged an early check in and a late check out for us, which made our stay even more comfortable. The reception team were super friendly and even greeted us by name, which added a personal touch. Room cleaning was also excellent throughout our stay. The only minor point was that the mattress was quite firm. This comes down to personal preference, but when we mentioned it at reception they immediately added a mattress pad and it helped a lot. We should have asked earlier. Overall this was a very pleasant experience and we would happily stay here again.
