Hotel Palacio Alcazar

Nice small basic room at modest price. Great location! Staff very helpful, comfortable speaking English. Great view from rooftop breakfast location.

Haven't stayed here yet. Will do in a couple of weeks. But I know John Fulton was a dear friend of mine, so I KNOW it's an awesome place. Have been here MANY MANY times during the 80's and 90's when it was his art studio. Can't wait to stay there.

Due to a technical issue with booking app, a double reservation for different hotels was made. This is not the hotel's fault of course, but as soon as we reached out to them to explain what happened, they declined refunding the money. This was a reservation made on midnight for the following day as in there was less than a few hours between making the reservation, and letting them know of the error. They of course didn't care and absolutely declined to refund it. It's a really bad indication when a hotel chooses to treat errors as an opportunity to grab money...and really for a one night stay booked at the last minute. It's not like the hotel had to decline so many other potential guests. What a shame. I could have chosen this hotel when I return to Seville for a longer stay, had they been more courtieus and decent!
