Hotel M.a. Sevilla Congresos

The area where the hotel is located is very calm, right across the street from the conference center, it’s a bit far from the city center and its noise.

The hotel is 'Square. Practical. Good.'. Clean, the beds are great (even though one rolled away when I leaned on the wall), slept like a log. Love the pillows. Staff was super friendly and supportive. Great stop for a none night stay on the way through. The breakfast did cost a point though! The tostada was superb, the tomato sauce looked a little weird but was surprisingly good. But the coffee! Spain has such a great coffee, what image does this coffee provide! The machine coffee had sweet powdered milk! No normal milk available. No pure water available, machine with too sugary juice with orange colour. Huge variety on the buffet, but all sausages were swimming in oil or undercooked, mushrooms from a can. The eggs were OK, Good queso and lovely variety of fruit.

Incredible hotel. I highly recommend it. They have full air conditioning in the rooms, with real A/C, not like other hotels. Very comfortable bed and pillow. Big shout-out to Cristina and Juan Carlos, who were very attentive and professional during my stay. Also, the staff at the bar. Great option if you want to stay near to the airport, just 10 minutes away by taxi.

I recently stayed at Hotel MA Sevilla Congresos and my experience was quite disappointing overall. On the positive side, the reception staff were polite and helpful, and the check-in process was smooth. However, cleanliness is a serious issue. The air vents in the room looked like they had never been cleaned – there was a visible buildup of dust, and I have photos to support this. This is not something you expect in a hotel. More concerning, during my stay I developed a skin irritation/eczema, which makes me question the hygiene standards of the room and the towels. The bar experience was also frustrating. The staff seemed to avoid speaking English. I asked for a lemonade and was told they didn’t have any. I then asked for water and lemon separately, and again I was told they didn’t have it, which was hard to believe. Overall, while the reception staff were fine, the hygiene issues and poor experience at the bar significantly affected my stay. I would not return.
