The good: (+) The hotel is good for the price and is perfect if you’re stopping by or want to avoid the city centre traffic. (+) There are a lot of parking spaces and is spacious. (+) Rooms are good and the shower has very good pressure. The bad: (-) The check in service was confusing and not good at all at arrival. (-) The breakfast was a bit weak for a hotel like that.

Let’s go in order and then we’ll make comments: Rooms: To me, it felt like a hospital room. The beds were almost temporary and can be scooted around as you need on light, loose frames. The bedding is uncomfortable and basically missing. As far as I could tell, there were no comforters. The topmost bedding was a standard top sheet, the same sheet presumably being used as a fitted sheet (which to be fair, is pretty normal). It’s just that it came loose pretty easily with the sliding bed. The bed itself was tiny (as expected for European hotels generally, but out of standard for an AC or Marriott) and deeply uncomfortable. I cannot believe that the mattress was in standard for AC. I woke up with back pain and between the mattress and the bedding, I could barely sleep. Service: Nothing particularly of note. The man who checked me in struggled to find my reservation. Although gold doesn’t get you anywhere anymore anyway, no upgrades or benefits were offered. It was late. He was a bit gruff. It felt like I was checking into a motel. Location: Good for proximity to the airport I guess, but not an airport hotel. This is probably more of a business or industrial park style hotel than anything that would be catering to Seville proper. I was disappointed by the gym. There are two treadmills, two bikes, and some weights in a basement dungeon, but that’s it. You can’t get a real workout in here. Some of the common areas feel poorly kept. The hotel needs touch up work in a lot of spaces. I have to be honest: I’m a bit shocked Marriott considers this within the quality and brand standard for AC. This hotel feels more like what Hilton does with Doubletree when they have no idea how else to brand a hotel that’s well past it’s prime and when the owner doesn’t want to reinvest. Everything about here feels incredibly underwhelming. I’m here for a meeting with coworkers but decided to leave a day early on a late flight just because I slept so poorly and so I can get in my own bed.
This hotel was absolutely phenomenal! The entire staff was wonderful, but Jose truly made our experience stand out. He was incredibly attentive and friendly, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sevilla!
Great hotel if you need to be near Seville Airport, just a 10 minute ride by taxi. Super comfortable beds, quiet neighbourhoods with no much traffic on the road just outside, enclosed parking, if needed. 4 stars on service just because there is no Airport Transfer given by the hotel, which would be perfect. A city taxi costs around 30€, Uber/Bolt can be down to 15€ during non-peak times. Other than that it’s a good hotel for location and comfort.
We had such a brilliant stay at the hotel. Right from the moment we checked in, the manager, Mr. Antonio, took exemplary care of us and was especially mindful of our special assistance needs. We truly appreciated the recognition of our Platinum Elite membership. The suite was well appointed, and fairly spacious with a decent view. The bathroom was spacious, and the mattress was very comfortable. Housekeeping did a wonderful job each day, maintaining the room to a good standard. The gym, although limited in size, was well stocked, with fresh towels, cold water, and clean equipment, which we found impressive. Breakfast was a pleasant experience, offering regional cheeses as well as local delicacies, limited in variety but of good quality. The front office staff were courteous, and communication throughout all our interactions was smooth and pleasant. The hotel is within easy driving distance of the city centre, and parking was convenient. Mr. Antonio engaged with us respectfully throughout our stay and consistently reassured us of his support. His positive attitude and genuine care for guests are truly exemplary. We especially enjoyed our conversations with him, he was generous with his time, offered thoughtful recommendations, and even went the extra mile to make enquiries on our behalf. We are very glad to have chosen AC Hotel Sevilla and look forward to returning again.
