This place was spectacular! It was hard to believe this was a tent in the middle of the Serengeti. We had hot showers, great food, and excellent service all the way around!! I traveled with a small group but was staying in a tent alone and felt very safe the entire time!!

My favorite on this tour of the serena group. Smaller, more private. For a tent camp, nothing of comfort is missing. Brings over the Africa feel 100%. Great location, very attentive service, food 100%. 👌

We loved our stay at Mbuzi Mawe Serena Camp. We arrived late one evening and checked in by dusk. The staff are friendly and the manager is affable with a great sense of humour. We found the restaurant service to be intimate, personalised and warm. Our waitress was kind enough to proactively ensure extra care for my daughter who had a tender tummy. The grounds are the perfect blend of safe luxury and raw wilderness. We were escorted safely to and from our rooms. The grounds offer the opportunity for some excellent birding and the kopjes behind the camp offer the chance to sight klipspringers, small antelope that dwell among the rocks. The amazing Serengeti is right outside and we were excited to hear lions and hyenas in the night.
