An amazing place in Tanzania with peace and quiet as well as a beautiful view of the Serengeti. The food was wonderful and the staff there so kind and welcoming. On our last evening we even had an elephant on the welcoming team ! Asante sana !

Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay here. The highlight for us was the food - it was the best of our whole Africa trip. The location is amazing and a short drive to amazing game viewing of lions, leopards, cheetahs, and more. Staff were friendly too. It is a remote camp so be prepared for animals around and staff will escort you at night. Thank you!

I stayed at Mawe Tented Camp for four nights, and it was one of the highlights of my Serengeti safari. The camp is located in an excellent wildlife area, away from the busy central Seronera region, yet surrounded by incredible game viewing. It is a fantastic location for anyone hoping to see big cats. One of my favourite memories was falling asleep every night to the sound of lions roaring in the distance, which made the experience feel truly wild and authentic. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. I would especially like to thank Frank and Ramadan for their kindness and outstanding hospitality. They always made sure I was comfortable and well looked after. The food was also delicious, with a good variety of meals prepared every day. If you’re looking for a peaceful tented camp in a wildlife-rich part of the Serengeti, I highly recommend Mawe Tented Camp. I would happily stay here again on my next visit

This was our first time in the Serengeti, and we had a truly wonderful stay. From the very beginning, everything exceeded our expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always eager to help, which made us feel very welcome. The tents were luxurious and beautifully designed, offering both comfort and an authentic safari experience. The food was excellent – every meal was fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. If you are planning to do game drives, make sure to ask for Jackson as your guide. He is extremely experienced, knows exactly where to find the animals, and always keeps a respectful distance. We spent four unforgettable days on game drives with him, and the experience was simply indescribable. If we ever return to the Serengeti, we would definitely stay at Mawe Tented Camp again.
