DMZ tour bus is getting into Civilian Control Zone(CCZ), but our destination is located in DMZ so need to cross blue line on the way, which means you enter DMZ! Absolutely loved our guide, Joo-Ee!!! She was the perfect guide!!! We didn’t feel rushed at all during the different stops on the tour. We had time to explore and take pictures when allowed. Just finished the DMZ tour. The tour guide, Jun, was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We had plenty of time at each site. Entering the DMZ was seamless thanks to his knowledge and experience. It was an early tour with hotel pickup at 5:10 am but we beat the crowds at the DMZ. Definitely would recommend it to anyone interested in Korean War history. I learned a lot I didn’t know.

At first I was very skeptical about this tour considering the safety factors involved. But our tour guide JoEe put my fears at ease. She’s a walking historian about South and North Korea. Our time and stops were just enough to explore the areas. Five stars for our tour guide JoEe!!

Joo-Eu was a fantastic guide for our DMZ tour. Great communication prior for the pick up, very knowledgeable about the DMZ and always very helpful throughout the tour. Got to the DMZ early to secure our tickets so we were ahead of the crowds. Even got to enjoy the suspension bridge with just our tour group. Joo-Ee thought of everything, even had binoculars for each of us at the Observatory. Tour was also really good being a small group. Memorable experience.

The pick up time for this tour was 5:30 but being picked up from my hotel made it worthwhile. Joo-Ee was a great guide and made an already interesting trip even better by providing a lot of historical information and lighthearted jokes. By being so early we were able to secure tickets also for the 3rd Tunnel rail and had the Suspension Bridge all for ourselves. A full on day and a must tour while in Seul.

Me and my wife are very grateful for this DMZ excursion! It felt like individual tour, the group consisted of small amount of people, so our guide could answer on all questions. The bus was very comfortable so you could have a nap before coming to DMZ area. For every stage of excursion Vincent has a plan and he notified us what would be the next. This was an excellent small group tour. Vincent was a perfect tour guide. He was very helpful, courteous and informative. We thought the excursion down the 3rd tunnel was particularly exciting and the suspension bridge walk was lovely.

Our tour was very interesting and informative. I liked walking across the suspension bridge early in the morning. Going to the DMZ and learning more about the history of the war was good but also saddening for the lives lost. When we went into the tunnel I was very glad we took a monorail and that thy gave us helmets! Seeing N. Korea from the observation point was also interesting. I’m glad I was visiting S. Korea and not the North. We had an excellent guide Joo ee

Definitely opt for this tour instead of the conventional 40 people size which just looks like mayhem. Joo-Ee was our guide for DMZ small group tour. She kept us informed and updated on pick-up instructions at Hongit Univ. station. She was attentive, very organized, had headphones for each one of us so no yelling and we were always able to hear her. She kept the tour interesting, sharing history, some quirky remarks, and share her own binoculars at the observation point which was packed with people competing for the public ones. We would love to have her as a guide again if we get a chance again.
The company flexibly arranged a pickup (not drop off) from my hotel which was not within the list of pick up hotels. There was a small additional price to pay but certainly worth it. The guide Dong Huan was very good and was knowledgeable. The company arranged an early start to ensure all points were covered as the entry into DMZ area is limited to 3000 places on a first come first serve basis. There were limitations of entry a few dayss in succession prior to our departure date. Hence they chose to leave early but gave us the choice of not taking the trip or leaving early.
Great DMZ tour on October 28th, 2026 with Joo Ee. The tour hit all the spots we wanted to see and Joo Ee was informative, knowledgeable, funny and very friendly. Couldn't have asked for a better guide! 😊

We really enjoyed our small group tour of the DMZ. It was a long day with pick up at 5:45am and drop off around 4pm (selection of 4 area drops offs). Pick up directly from our hotel was super convenient and on time. Our tour guide BK was fantastic and very knowledgeable and thanks to our mini bus driver Mr Kang who drove us around safely. Walking in the 3rd tunnel was a highlight of the day as was the view from the observatory. Note that when you go into the DMZ (eg 3rd tunnel, observatory) we had to transfer to a larger coach - looked like 3 smaller groups on the same bus for transport around the stops in the area. We were given a head set to hear BK throughout though so it still felt like we were part of a small group just transported with a few other small groups). They don't allow mini buses into the DMZ. Passports are checked so make sure you bring it with you. Overall - a great day and would highly recommend this small group tour and your guide BK.
Well worth the experience. Must do event for your trip to Korea, especially if it's the first time. BK the tour guide was amazing. Kept you engaged throughout. During idle moments, if you're alone, he would come and have a chat. Always ready to take individual photos for the tour group at the various attractions. Shoutout to the driver Mr Kang.
Had a great experience going to the DMZ. Learned a lot through the experience and thankful for our guide BK who provided clear direction and expectations. BK was a great guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend. On top of that we got to visit a lovely bridge and temple in the mountainside on the way back. Additionally, Mr. Kong drove us expeditiously to and from the DMZ without issues or delay.

Excellent and very informative tour. Highlights the lives of one people. Physically demanding but not a requirement to participate in all activities. A lot obviously depends on your guide. We were lucky to have Joo Ee as ours. She has done the tour many times and had every facet well researched. She was also very well organized and anticipated potential issues. Would highly recommend
