The MBC tour was a lot of fun and really interesting. To see the machinations and mechanics of how a K drama series is actually built was fascinating. Our guides "Seven" "Eleven" "Joon" and Professor Cho (who fills a room with his infectious energy) were all genuine, passionate, friendly and helpful and combined to make sure everyone had a good experience. Thank you MBC .

San and Professor Joe were fabulous all the way! So many sets to see and watching the actors rehearse up close was amazing. We even got a script to keep and they explained the notations on it. We would do this tour again in a heartbeat. Thank you, MBC!
The whole day way informative, funny and very inspiring. Got to see all the stars of Family Register reherse their lines which was so exciting. Learning how the production and sets are built on site and put together very interesting. Enjoyable day with many thanks to San and Eleven. Our guide at MBC was a scream
My daughter and I had a wonderful experience with San as our guide. He communicated with us from the start to the finish via What’s App. The tour was great in many ways with Mr. Yu from MBC and his translator San. It was worth every dollar we spent. Thank you again San!
This tour was awesome. Seeing a live rehearsal, on the actual set, was an experience I’ll never forget. I learned so much! It was a lot of fun to be able to take photos on the set. We also learned a lot about K-Pop and Korean radio, and were even able to buy MBC souvenirs! Our main tour guide was friendly and fun, and the guide at MBC was hilarious. We had so much fun! This is a great experience for English speakers.
As avid k-drama and k-pop fans this tour was a dream come true for us. From start to finish our day was amazing. Our tour guide San was the best ever, I can't praise him enough. He was so attentive and caring of us being part of the older generation. Together with proffessor Cho they made sure they gave us a wonderful day to remember with lots of very interesting facts and lots and lots of humour 😀. We've got so many amazing memories to take home with us and If we're lucky enough to return to South Korea in the future we would 100% book this tour again. I would seriously recommend it to anyone who loves K-drama. As a side note we also visited the MBC set in the mountains where they film historic K-dramas which was also fantastic
Amazing tour! We got to see live filming, behind-the-scenes areas, sets, and even the room where table readings take place. The whole production process was explained step by step. Both the tour guide and the MBC staff member were funny, entertaining, and extremely engaging.
Informative; fun; met new people from all over the world
I booked this tour for my husband, the K-drama addict. We opted for the tour that could watch the rehearsal (my husband's request). I wasn't enthusiastic and thought I'd wing it and just tag along since we're on vacation together. I honestly have to say that I was utterly surprised and I truly enjoyed this tour! I learned a lot and didn't realize what it takes for these actors/actresses, cameramen, editors and other staff to provide entertainment for us, their viewers. The behind the scenes is really cool. All the different rooms and props, they look so real. You could tell that Professor Cho and Eleven really enjoyed their job and tried their utmost to ensure that we had a wonderful and memorable experience. I have to admit, I'm glad I booked this tour for my husband. Thank you Professor Cho and Eleven for a most unforgettable time!!!
As kdrama fan it everything I hoped. I was amazed by the size and scope of MBC, the sheer magnitude of all that is involved in production and the effort, discipline and hard work that goes into dramas that I enjoy so much. The friendliness of every one encountered was wonderful. This tour is the highlight of my time in SK and would remember it forever.
Great tour seeing a studio, a rehearsal of a k drama tv show. Interesting subject. Great guides , helpful and nice.
This tour was incredible. The tour guides were so kind and accommodating, giving us real in depth behind the scenes information. 10/10
A fun experience witnessing a rehearsal and seeing the set of an ongoing kdrama series. The three tour guides were entertaining and welcoming. It was nice to get an actual script used in the series Appreciated the work it takes to produce dramas! The professor gave special attention to a couple returning for the third time. Thank you!
The MBC Studio Tour with San and the Media Professor was quite impressive and enjoyable. San’s English was very clear, and his translations of the Professor’s lectures were also well communicated. We learned a lot about the behind the scenes workings of a TV show from the script readings, the technical machinery, the intricate sets, and watching the cast and crew rehearse a few scenes from the show they’ll be filming that evening. We were even able to take pictures of ourselves on some sets not being used that day. The enthusiasm of the professor was notable and inspirational, encouraging us to watch the drama currently being aired on TV11. The MBC Rep was also on hand, so the three guides gave us a rare, intimate experience of the MBC studio and HQ just outside Seoul.
Professor Cho and the translator were the best combo and I highly recommend this tour. Super fun, knowledgeable and great contents where you get to not only see but learn the background of the rise of K culture. Probably the best Viator tour I’ve ever been on.
Very enjoyable and interesting tour
The best K-drama tour EVER!!! You have the opportunity to see a rehearsal with the real actors and you will see the filming sets as well. This is my second time and I'm looking forward to return next year as well. If you are a K-drama lover, you should NOT miss it!!! 😉
Complete overview of Korean Entertainment production. Informative and enjoyable. Good pace. Tour guide - Eleven and the MBC representative were excellent.
A rare look behind the scenes of Korea’s K-dramas. We didn’t get to catch any artistes which was a miss but otherwise this was a good educational tour organised by MBC so no sales driven agenda but lots to learn.
Great to see a little more behind the scenes of the inner workings of how kdramas are made.
The bus was full! We toured MBC studios where the K-Dramas are made, MBC Offices and visited the concert like theatres where the top groups have all performed! Great day ending around 3 pm!
Mr, Yu, Mr Han and Ms. Eleven are the best!
Very interesting insight to making Korean TV shows and movies and even K-pop. Tour guides were excellent in explaining the process plus entertaining at the same time. Being able to witness a rehearsal is a plus. We would highly recommend any Kdrama or K-pop fan to take this tour
An interesting glimpse into the production of K dramas
We are Seniors - 76 n 70 with a few health issues. We did your MBC tour day after a two week tour with another company in Republic of Korea. We were a bit travel weary from the stairs from our travels like temples etc. Your guides “Eleven” especially were ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. They recognised our needs and went out of their way to help. The lifts were FABULOUS! Eleven went out of her job profile to help us order an Uber back to our hotel. I will recommend your tour to everyone. We loved the peek inside while they were rehearsing The First Man! The Directors Studio! Best Wishes Wendy
It was a great way to see a snapshot of how K dramas are made and produced! The guides were very energetic and loved being there as well!
Excellent experience to see the ‘behind the scenes’ of K-drama production. Tour guides (Jun, Eleven and Joe) were great. Look forward to new trip next time.
It was a somewhat enjoyable morning led by two friendly and dedicated guides who clearly put a lot of effort into making the experience engaging and informative. They provided great insight into MBC’s history and development, and the visit included two different locations. Having the opportunity to explore Sangam-dong during the lunch break was an added bonus. That said, my rating reflects one key drawback: much of the tour involved walking through empty buildings. While we did see the basement where sets are created, along with various TV sets, waiting rooms, and stages, the lack of any live activity made the experience feel somewhat limited. It would have been far more engaging to witness something in action—such as a rehearsal or a live taping. One of the guides mentioned that such opportunities may be introduced in the future, but unfortunately, that comes too late for my visit.
This was the best Tour I took this time. As a K-Drama fan this tour is an absolout must. It was a joy to see all the Behind Works and Places you saw in diverent MBC productions. Our Tour Guide Joon led the Tour with a lot of joy which flow over to the customers. So it was fun. He also shared a few small details about things he experienced through his other tours and went first when we were to shy to try something. Thank you for guiding us. A huge thanks also goes to Mr. Yoo from MBC, who showed us all the secrets and let us in on some details about how a production was done. Things that were amazingly interesting for someone like me, who loves the whole picture of film work. I learned a lot and would love to work in the industry even more now. If we ever get the chance to work together, it'd be an honor and a joy. Thank you also to both for answering all my questions with patience. If you like to see and lern a lot about film and show making, this tour is a must.
This was very interesting and the guide/team was excellent! It was a highlight of our trip and we would definitely recommend this tour!
An amazing insight to broadcasting in South Korea. Fantastic experience of a lifetime. If you want to know the ins and outs of how dramas are produced this is the tour to do.
A behind the scenes view of how k dramas are made - from script read through to rehearsal. Fascinating and made fun by the team that lead us through the building.
Great insight into the well-oiled machine that churns out hopeful K-pop stars and keeps the K-dramas coming. Yoo and Joon were phenomenal tour guides and happy to share all of their extensive knowledge with the group. Easy meet up directions via WhatsApp and consistent contact to ensure we all showed up timely. Lunch saw us on our own to choose from a large selection of restaurants. Would happily try this tour again if they incorporate actual filming and/or another K-drama rehearsal into the schedule! I will say with so much insight on the K-drama rehearsal that we saw, I can’t wait to actually watch the series from the beginning.
Absolutely incredible! The guides were more than accommodating, they went out of their way to make the tour fun, interesting and well organised. They showed us so much! The studio, the offices, all about drama, pop and even radio. Got to see actors rehearsing on set which was an incredible experience and got to understand a table read and keep the script of an episode! I would highly recommend this tour if you love K drama and/or K pop. And I would give an extra star for the guides alone!
Superfun to see a live rehersal of a Makjang Kdrama. Very professional and funny tour guides. We got an hour lunch time and there was a great selection of food at the digital media city. What can be improved? The stuios were the most fun to see rather than buildings so second place was less interesting but we enjoyed some history and fun facts from the guide. A must if you are a fan of kdramas and filmmaking.👍
This was an amazing tour - the guides were really informative and made the experience very enjoyable. Seeing the actors in action was wonderful, thank you so much for this opportunity.
Joon was exceptionally flexible and communicated at all times of the day and night to ensure the trip went smoothly. He also made additional accommodations for my mother that went above and beyond. Unfortunately the live rehearsals were cancelled but the difference in tour prices was promptly refunded and the guides went all out to provide a deep dive on the studio and behind the scenes.
What a great experience, we got to take a look behind the scenes of a K-drama studio. It was very interesting to learn how the sets are made and to walk around and touch the props. There was a little bit of k-pop content as well - we were shown the venues where the bands performed in the past. Great guide!
Omgosh! I was not expecting such a fabulous, incredible experience. I was completely blown away! Our tour guides Joon and Prof. Cho were second to none. They should have their own tv show! They were so much fun, so energetic and outgoing, so entertaining and informative… and absolutely hilarious! They are STARS themselves. I just loved them so much and they made our day absolutely perfect! It’s obvious that they both love and are extremely proud of MBC and their industry! From the second the tour began until the very end I was thrilled and completely enamored. Our tour was fortunate enough to experience so many fabulous things. We were lucky enough to be on set for a rehearsal for a K-Drama and we were even able to meet some of the stars. To top everything off we were each gifted a script from the show which was so very much appreciated. I will treasure it! .Joon and Prof Cho couldn’t have been more lovely. We experienced so many different aspects of the MBC studios and they certainly made a fan of me! The added explanations of what we were seeing and experiencing was presented in the professional way on an iPad and portable speaker. We were able to take photos almost everywhere. This tour is so jam packed with thrilling things to see and do at every moment. It’s bursting with content and excitement. I have been on many tours here in S Korea and not one holds a candle to this one.MBC-I think you need to give Joon and Prof Cho their own tv show… the world needs to experience their AMAZING personalities! Thank you all for the most wonderful day in Seoul. I couldn’t have asked for more! Pure perfection!! THE BEST TOUR IVE EVER TAKEN!
It was amazing to see what goes into a production from the building of the sets to the taping of shows.
Couldn’t recommend this tour enough. San, the guide was excellent as was Prof. Jo with their energy. Behind the scenes informative and loved every minute. For a K drama fan this is a must
This was such a great day!!! We had excellent and attentive guides with us all day, but once we arrived at MBC studios, professor Jo took over. He was a pure ball of energy and happiness. We saw so many cool areas of the headquarters and the Dream Center, many more than I thought we would, and learned there is a third outdoor area for filming historic dramas. This tour was worth every penny, make sure to sign up for it!
I am not an aficionado of the subject matter, but my wife sure thought it was worth every penny. In addition to geeking out with the other members of the tour, the three crew members that were stuck with us for the day seemed to have a genuine love and affection for the material, company, and most importantly those of us that paid to be there. For those of us that aren't interested in the end result: good news, it's still a good time. I really enjoyed the behind the scenes time, and the infectious joy of the crew.
Sometimes it was tricky seeing the actors due to all the cameras and lighting, but the guide moved us to improve our views. There is a lot of standing around, but it was fascinating how each actors move and speech was analysed by the director. Lots of interaction between actors & crew.
Good little tour of MBC’s facilities especially if you’re a fan of K-Drama’s and reality shows. Joon went above and beyond for a tour. He’s a great guide and will accommodate your needs.
I enjoyed this tour very much! It was delightful from start to finish with great communication and easy to follow meet-up instructions. Our tour guide Joon was amazing keeping us laughing and enjoying every moment of the tour. It was fun getting a behind the scenes look at a drama being rehearsed - I was quietly fangirling the whole tour. Getting a little peek at the Kpop award stages was one of my favorite parts of the tour. I highly recommend this tour for solo and group travelers.
As a k-drama fan and someone interested in broadcast technology and set design, I greatly enjoyed the MBC K-drama studio day tour. Our guides Jun and Cho were informative, humorous, and fun. The vast size of the Dream Center was impressive. It was eye opening to see the Oppas and Noonas rehearse.
I highly recommend this tour!! The guides were exceptionally good! It was much more than I expected! I thought it was only going to be spots where they film the K-dramas, but they showed us the whole studio and explained a lot about how everything works. We even got to sit at the table where the actors and directors gather to go over the scrip. They gave us an actual copy of the show they were filming. They showed us the sets where they were filming the current show, "The Woman Who Swallowed the Sun". We were also able to sit on the furniture on those sets. We were lucky, they were filming an outdoor scene of that show and we were able to stand close-by to watch. Even if you aren't as big a fan as me, I think you will enjoy this tour!
Very informative tour with wonderful, energetic guides. We even got to see a kdrama rehearsal on set, and then later that night back at my hotel I watched the same drama, on the same set, on tv. Even the part of the tour where we saw corporate headquarters was interesting.
The MBC K-Drama Tour was such a fun and unique experience! It offered a fascinating behind the scenes look at how Korean dramas are made, from the sets and studios to the production process itself. It was amazing to see where some of our favorite shows come to life. Our guides San and Yoon were very knowledgeable and friendly, sharing lots of interesting facts and stories about the K-drama industry and famous actors. The tour was well organized and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Whether you’re a huge K-drama fan or just curious about Korean entertainment, this tour is definitely worth doing. A great mix of culture, entertainment, and insight!
