We had the absolute pleasure of taking a half-day palace and cultural tour in Seoul with Sue, and it was the highlight of our trip! From the moment we started, Sue proved to be an incredibly caring and attentive guide. She looked after us in every way possible, making sure we were comfortable and engaged throughout the entire morning. Her knowledge of Korean culture and history is impressive. She brought the palace to life with fascinating stories and deep insights that we never would have learned from a guidebook. It was like walking through history with a friend who happens to be an expert. The tour ended on a perfect note with a visit to a lovely viewing point. The scenery was breathtaking—we could see the mountains on one side and the sprawling city view on the other. It was the perfect spot to reflect on the day and take amazing photos. If you are looking for a guide who is not only knowledgeable but also genuinely cares about your experience, we cannot recommend Sue enough. Thank you, Sue, for a wonderful day!

Gyeongbokgung Palace is one of the most beautiful and largest palace in Seoul. You can also enjoy The Royal Guard Changing Ceremony at Gyeongbokgung Palace.
Bukchon Hanok Village or Namsangol Hanok Village, where you can see traditional Korean houses called hanok. These villages are popular spots for taking beautiful photos of hanok architecture. You will visit one of these villages based on the option you selected.
Bugak Palgakjeong, also known as the Bugak Pavilion, you'll be captivated by the stunning panoramic views of Seoul. This tranquil pavilion is nestled on the slopes of Bugaksan Mountain, offering a peaceful retreat from the bustling city below. Take some time to absorb the beauty of the landscape and capture some incredible photographs.
Ginseng is first mentioned in “Ji Jiu Zhang” during Han dynasty of China as herb used widely in the orient for so many diseases and ailments. It is a plant which had been regarded as a panacea, a cure all. In the studies, Korean ginseng shows best performances in adaptogenic properties.

Sue was an excellent guide and had a wealth of knowledge. There were many stops along the guided trip. At each stop Sue explained the history of the particular area with clarity and insight into what happened during a period of history. The length of the guided tour was just right. At the end of the guided tour the drop-off point was a very famous market with very good street food. Sue the tour guide explained ( with pictures) what you need to consider with each style of food. Highly recommend booking with Sue.

Amazing tour by Kim, Sun Hee (Sunny). She was a rockstar in bringing the story alive. I was brought into the story around Korean kings from the Joseon era to the more modern Korean War. I felt sad as she narrated the history around the Korean War too. In a day I felt I got a brief summary of Korea, its treasures and beyond. Really an amazing teaser. You should all experience it, and do it with Sunny!

It’s a great tour, make sure you can walk fast! We were able to see the best parts of the palace and our guide Christy had all the secret short cuts on a very busy Saturday.
We only had one day in Seoul and this experience was great. Spent most of the time at the palace and glad we did. The rest of the trip was whirlwind visit to additional sites. Was a bit bored at ginseng factory. Guide was knowledge and good fun.
