It has been a pleasure enjoying the DMZ Tour with Jason. His professional experience in the korean armed forces provided helpful insights. Also he did a great job to explain the history of the korean people from after WWII. I recommend this tour especially with Jason to everybody, it’s a must when visiting Korea.

My family and I had an amazing time with Eddie as our guide! It was an insightful tour to the DMZ, as Eddie had much personal experience from his time serving at the DMZ. He was very fun and amusing to listen to. The price of the tour was totally worth it as well, especially for the length of the tour (8am-2:30pm) and how much insight and history we learned. If you’ve been researching for a good DMZ tour, book this one and you’ll experience 0 regret.

This was a wonderful experience. Eddie did a fantastic job at giving a detailed history of North and South Korea, and he used his personal experience in the military to add to it. His humour and kindness was also noted. The tunnel, observatory deck, and meeting with the North Korean defector was surreal and extremely thought provoking. This tour is important for anyone interested in Korean history and culture. Highly recommend it!

Pisanie Absolutely fantastic DMZ tour! Our guide was amazing – incredibly knowledgeable, funny, friendly, and engaging. Everything was very well organized and ran smoothly. Meeting a North Korean defector was a truly unique and moving experience, definitely one of the highlights of the tour. We had such a great time and learned so much. Highly recommended!

We had no expectations but were extremely lucky to get someone as experienced and knowledgeable as Richard. Richard was our guide and was Excellent. Richard made the whole day so enjoyable. Richards’ knowledge was fantastic and we are heading home better educated about Korea both north and south. Would highly recommend this tour and Richard.

The trip was excellent. The tour guide retired captain Eddie Choi was very well organized, informed and with very good communication skills . He covered different aspects of the North Korea- South Korea conflict and made it very entertaining. We had a very good Korean lunch and the presentation by a North Korean defector gave a very good picture of life in North Korea and how protected the DMZ is. Three cheers to Eddie Choi

Trip to the DMZ with Eddie will be one of the highlights of my trip to Seoul. He made the it very much fun and was highly informative. Super impressed by his knowledge and the fact that he worked in the military made it that much special. Overall an excellent DMZ trip!

The tour was a super interesting and a valuable experience, made especially enjoyable by Eddie the guide. We were unfortunately late to the meeting, despite this Eddie was so accommodating and friendly by offering to wait for us. Also his knowledge of the DMZ and Korean history was very informative and improved the experience overall. Lastly, the opportunity to hear directly from s North Korea defecter on her story was my favourite part of the whole tour. Cheers Eddie!

The tour was amazing! It was very informative, revealing and educational. Learnt a lot about everything and was able to retain a lot of the information. But the tour wouldn’t have been as interactive, fun or pleasant if it was for the amazing and talented tour guide, Eddie! He made the tour extremely fun and his experience and passion came through on the tour. We enjoyed his humour and hospitality. I really appreciated the tour a lot more because of Eddie. Really well done, Eddie is very entertaining and very knowledgeable given his military expertise and being stationed at the DMZ for years. He also loves history so his stories are very entertaining and informative. Highly recommend!

Super interesting and the guide was great. Very informative and open to all questions. His English skills were very nice to listen to. But some in the group were always late for the meeting points, which made it difficult for the rest of the group. So please, pay more attention to what time the guide is telling us to come back to the bus.

What a great experience! Very informative and eye opening. Learned more from Eddie about the DMZ during the tour than I ever did prior. The opportunities to go into one of the tunnels, to peer into North Korea itself, and to be able to meet and speak with a North Korean defector was incredible. Would gladly recommend.

DMZ tour with PLK and Leo. Leo was great and made the history interesting. This tour is a bit of a workout. The 3rd tunnel and the walk up to the observatory are both very steep. Not for people with mobility issues.

Leo, our handsome tourguide, did a great job showing us DMZ (demilitarized zone), which is worldwide unique. He even made the transfer (by PLK) between locations fun and informing. If you have the choice choose this tour and have a good time, while learning about the interesting and tragic relationship between two countries, that used to be one.
