We did the Chinese tour. The staff at the site is really kind and helpful, we were nearly late but they tried to help us get on the tour. Eventually, we made it. During the tour, it's interactive and interesting. We were introduced to different places and beautiful site. We took pretty photos. The tram it self is so special that draws a lot of attention but it's really nice to say hi to people on the street. For each season there will be different tours, we would love to come back again!

had a great time with our male tour guide. sorry can't remember name but he had a canadian wife. v informative and knowledgeable. took us to parts we would never have known to go to. only pedal if want to.
This is a must do tour Madongsok and Kevin are the best! they are funny and friendly, they made the tour fun and memorable.
Our family including 2 pre-teens braved the almost 0 degrees temperature to take the Seoul Tram Tour with our wonderful guide Tae Jin and driver Oli. Luckily the weather warmed up and we enjoyed pedaling through the streets and waving to the pedestrians who marveled at our coquette-ish and seasonally decorated tram. The highlight was walking through the alleys of Ikseondong, getting local tips from the guide on where to eat, what to buy, and how Koreans today live. Of course, we enjoyed not having to walk too much to see icons like the Blue House and Gyeongbokgung Palace. Kids also enjoyed the hot chocolate, snacks and chicken soup and rice lunch. Thank you to the guide and driver for also helping my husband buy some coffee beans at the Tongin Market. Helmets were provided and safety was emphasized, so I highly recommend this tour for families.
my first visit and this adventure did not disappoint ! engaging and informative tour of the city , kind and informative thank you
I love the experience so much, (a bit feels like leg day) but still worth it. Love it. A new way to go around Seoul famous neighbourhood. Defly will book for another time.
Our tour guides, Ma Dong-seok (apologies if remembered incorrectly) and Vincent were wonderful! Professionally historical introductions, perfect photo-taking skills, and considerate pit stops for restroom and local food tasting. The peddling was not too excruciating and even the weather was cooperating! Really “must do” to get some general ideas at which tourist spots to spend more time for visiting.
We went on the Seoul Tram tour with a large family group (4 adults, 5 kids - ages 8,7,6,5,3). Our guides were Vincent and Kevin. The tram itself was perfect for a family group. There was a large seat at rear of tram where the two youngest children and one adult could sit comfortably. The rest of us spread out evenly over the rest of pedal seats. Fortunately, the pedals were just for show and we did not have to actually power the tram ourselves so it was a comfortable relaxing journey. Our guides provided unique insight into the various stops around the city as well as authentic local food market experiences in the more residential areas of the city that you would likely never encounter on your own as a tourist. The two hours went by very quickly and the kids were engaged the whole time. I would highly recommend this specific tour to any families who want to experience a more intimate look at Seoul in a setting comfortable for the whole family.
Such an amazing experience for our family! We've done a lot of activities during our time in Seoul, and this is one of the few activities that kept our whole family (4 adults with 5 kids ages 3-8) actively engaged, content, and excited! The guides were both amazing, and we learned so much while getting to see a lot of what we may have missed exploring alone. The diversity of events from viewing and learning about the city on the tram from getting to walk a little to tasting yummy foods made the tour go by SUPER fast! We knew it was a hit when the kids said, "it's already over?? That felt really fast." Time truly does fly when you're having fun!
Very friendly and knowledgeable guides. The tram bike was very fun and not hard to cycle. The food was all vegetarian and excellent.
We did an e-bike in Italy and to my surprise this is better than expected. They (Vincent and co.) did an excellent tour - stories, local food tastings, trip and most especially attention to safety. Highly recommended!
This is a great way to experience Seoul. As a visitor I usually like to walk about to explore and have all my senses involved, not filtered by a window or a vehicle frame. 🚶🏽♀️ Taking this tour is perfect. The tram is open to the air, the guides offer a warm coat and a hand warmer to hold off the cold 🔥. All safety considered, the planned route took me to highlights I would not have known on my own. This is interactive and enlivening with exuberant waves to the people we passed by. At the same time enjoying a local playlist 🎤 and running commentary both social and educational from our experienced guide. 🌸 I like that the tour bridged past and present, it brought the architectural and historical structures to life. It connected us the participants to our surroundings. I recommend this as a solo traveller, fun to do with friends or even with a family of different ages. Some bonus aspect is peddling some sustainability 🌿
An amazing bike tour filled with lots of interesting insights about Korea history and culture. The guides were very friendly and insightful.
The guides were friendly and knowledgeable. It was an eye opener peddling in the midst of Seoul traffic. Wonderful memories made with family. Worth the time and money!
A fun tour for the whole family. We were a three generation family from NYC - grandparents, mom, and kids - and there was something for everyone. The guide was informative and highly entertaining. A must-book tour when you are in Seoul!
Really enjoyed this tour. The guide was one of the loveliest people I met in South Korea. It's a relaxed, easy ride with lots of interesting stops.
Comprehensive tour and great guide, although Seoul is not really the best place for cycling. Cycling did get us to see a lot of the city and into places that were off the beaten track. We found a lovely historical building on our way through some back streets. The bike ride itself was not super challenging, although there are some tight areas and hills.
Kevin was very knowledgeable. He has a history degree and really did a fantastic job telling us the history and background of everywhere we visited. The bike tour and places we saw were exactly what we wanted for our first day in Seoul to get our foundation of the city. The bikes were very well maintained and fun to ride. Thank you Kevin for a great morning.
Well, very good if you join this tour. A well balanced combination of getting to see some of the major tourist hot-spots (and to return to later), as well as learning about the history and politics of Korea (which are fascinating topics themselves). The bikes are great. Light-weight. Good brakes, always important. Very easy to ride and change gear. Lots of fun! Sorry when i had to hand the bike back.
Totally enjoyed the bike tour with We Ride Korea. Our wonderful guides Vincent & Matthew were very knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. Loved learning about the history of Seoul. I especially liked the local foods on the market
My husband and I just had a 24 hour layover in Seoul. We are a fan of bike tours as a way to see some major sites in a short amount of time. I contacted Weride a few weeks before or trip to inquire about the tour and although they don't typically offer tours on Monday, they were very accommodating and agreed to give us a tour. The directions for meeting were very clear and we met Kevin and Matthew right on time. They provided us with very high end Brompton bikes along with helmets, water bottles, a small satchel on the bike to keep our things, and windbreakers (as we were a little underdressed for the fall air). Kevin and Matthew were great fun to ride with!! Kevin had created a tour during which we saw many historical sites and areas of the city. He imparted many interesting facts and we learned a lot. Seoul is a very clean and beautiful city. We could have never gotten around to all the places we saw in such a short amount of time. Not only that, we tried a local snack and shared many laughs. We so much enjoyed the great company of Kevin and Matthew! Also, they took tons of pictures that they shared with us. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Seoul as a great introduction to this beautiful city!!
I’m a very beginner in riding bicycle. The guide tour was very helpful and provided good advice until I felt confident to ride on the road. The route tour was the best in my opinion. In 3 hours, it included main hotspots and also a village which is no tourists, I really love that! Learned a lot more about Korean’s story and got a lot of photos from the guide tour. Very recommend even you come here alone and not have riding skills like me :)
I was looking for a nice tour for myself in Seoul, and I found Weride bike tour. Although, I was the only person in this tour but vincent was kindly provide me a great tour. I was always interested in learning historical and political stories of country, and this tour was perfect for me. It was a great time to learn about Joseon and modern Korean history. Especially, by riding a bike, I could find out many hidden places in Seoul. And it was a big memorable experience. I will definitely recommend this tour who are looking for a great experience in Korea.
I love the idea of riding around the city, and this was a great way to see Seoul! hear stories of the city from someone who’s lived here and really explored the city, and also just enjoy a bike ride with a group of people I love. The route was very well organized and well thought out, we ride really seems to know the city so well! I would never have seen parts of the city if not for their guide and all the wonderful local elements of Seoul local people! Thank you we ride!!
Our family has been on bike and walking tours in many countries. I find it always deepens the experience to learn something about the places we visit. Some tours are better than others. It’s not easy to find a tour to satisfy everyone. Vincent and Kevin managed to be: knowledgeable, entertaining, encouraging, funny, welcoming and contagiously fun. It’s no exaggeration to say this was the highlight of our trip, and not just for me, it’s the only thing that we are all still talking about a week later.
As a last minute decision for my last day on a 3 day tour of Seoul, mostly done with the hop on hop off bus, I booked this tour just on the afternoon of the day before. When showing up to the tour I was surprise (and delighted) to find out that I am the sole participant. With Kevin as my guide it turned out to be the highlight of my visit. As mentioned by others before, Kevin is extremely knowledgeable and conveys the story of the past and present politics of the city with an easy interesting way. With his friendly attitude we even visited some unmentioned places in the itinerary exceeding the time frame by far. The ride is safe and easy, I highly recommend this tour to every one!
We have enjoyed this tour a lot. Kevin our guide, he is very nice and he explain us each question about Korean and culture. About the tour, it is very complete, you discover the typical sites from other perspective and secret places too. We recomend 100%.
I had a long layover in Seoul and wanted to see as much of the city as possible in a relatively short space of time. This was the perfect solution. The tour was a lot of fun and my guide, Vincent, was incredibly knowledgeable. Not only did we see the main tourist sites, such as the Presidential Blue House and the Gyungbok Palace entrance, but we also got off the beaten track and got to experience less touristy neighborhoods and local snacks. An overall great experience and one I would recommend to anyone, whether this is your first visit to Seoul or if you’ve been here several times before.
We loved our bike tour with Kevin and Vincent, each stop was accompanied by the history of the spot, starting with the Tomb Bridge (Cheonggyechong Bridge) and proceeding around the Gyeongbokgung Palace. We rode by The Blue House which by virtual of all the police and gates made it exciting. The history is much like Game of Thrones all the way to present day happenings! The riding is varied, a few spots we rode with traffic and one section in Bukchon Hanok was just hilly and narrow enough, it required us walking our bikes a short distance. Kevin and Vincent were very attentive and aware of the traffic heavy spots often directing or stopping traffic for us so it was never a problem. We stopped at a wonderful local market. Being a foodie, I wish we had more time there and could have sampled some of the food, it looked delicious! They did buy rice cakes for us to try which was a treat. This is absolutely great way to get a global view of Seoul, we later went back to explore the palace on our own. The ride covered areas that I doubt we would have seen on our own, less traveled neighborhoods and streets. We highly recommend a bike ride with Kevin and Vincent!
We truly enjoyed the day and the experience. The We Ride guide was pleasant and made it a memorable tour.
Luckily my friend and I found out about We Ride Korea from a local who gave them a glowing recommendation. Our guides (Vincent and Kevin) were extremely knowledgeable and made the tour a great experience. We hit the major highlights of Seoul, while also seeing some gems that tourists usually don’t know about. To top it all off, we ended by exploring Gwang-Jang market and got a great taste of a local favorite (mung bean pancakes). Vincent and Kevin were terrific and the entire experience was too. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get to know more about the history of the city in a short period of time.
I was lucky enough to book a tour on a cold February day where I was the only person on the tour. The tour’s guide, Themba, is a natural explorer, the kind of guy who seems to have never met a narrow alley he doesn’t want to bike down. Far from being a bit miffed that I had dragged him out of his warm office to give me a private tour he genuinely seems to love riding around the streets of Seoul pointing out all sorts of interesting buildings that you might never have glanced twice at. A highlight for me was The Blue House, South Korea’s version of The White House. The building itself is beautiful, framed against a dramatic mountain backdrop, but biking really gives you a taste of the tension in the air from the president’s security blanket. In 1968 North Korean assassins tried to breach The Blue House and it still feels like a place where you wouldn’t want to make any sudden moves, a visceral reminder of Korea’s unique situation. From looking around a former bathhouse turned designer glasses store (that might be beneficiaries of the former president’s corruption scandal), enormous buildings that span major roadways in Seoul that can collapse in the event of an invasion and a stop in at a 3D printing lab the tour was so much more than what was on the tin. Like other reviewers have said it felt like taking a ride with a cool friend just showing you his favourite places in Seoul, highly recommended!
The whole route of the tour is very nice, the guides are very friendly, will interact with everyone, and after the tour we also Recommendation where to eat and drink coffee, if you have time to definitely come to experience.
