Whenever my boyfriend and I visit a new country, we always like to start with a walking tour with a local guide to get a lay of the land and start to understand the culture, people, and history. Stella took us along a beautiful cityscape walk where we could walk in nature among the majestic trees outlining the city and see the skyline of Seoul, then we toured some really cool and unique local neighborhoods in the city. Stella was engaging and thoroughly answered all of our questions. She is clearly passionate about sharing her home country of Korea with newcomers. She gave us many recommendations of places to see during our trip and kept up with us during the trip to tell us about local events happening. I highly recommend her walking tour for anyone visiting Korea - it’s an excellent way to understand the history and culture by experiencing it through the eyes of a local.

Stella was great. She was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and, perhaps even more importantly, fun and friendly. It wasn’t until people started asking questions that I could appreciate the depth and breadth of her knowledge about Korean history, culture and customs. Our tour was AMAZING! We did the 5 hour tour starting at 8:30 am. I could not recommend this more. Our tour guide, B.I. was super friendly, kind, and told us all about seoul, its history and showed us the most beautiful places around the city. We loved spending time with him and getting to know the foods, places, villages, etc. We would love to come back and tour again with B.I., amazing tour guide and amazing person!! This is the best way to maximize your day in Seoul. We got to try different foods and snacks, walk around and move across different areas that were worth visiting. We did everything we wanted to to experience a day in the city.

The tour of the main palace in Seoul and the Bunchon district was absolutely amazing. Our guide was incredibly friendly—this was really the highlight. She was so enthusiastic, actively sharing many fascinating stories and never hesitated to answer any question. In our small group, which had people of different ages, we all really enjoyed the experience. The pace of the tour was perfect—we had time to relax—and everyone stayed engaged. After the tour, she also sent us a lot of additional information—about films and various aspects of Korean culture—which kept us inspired. She was so polite, kind, and really made the whole experience come alive. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants an engaging, educational, and truly memorable experience in Seoul.

Excellent tour and fully customised. We discussed with Stella what we want to do ahead of time and she proposed a number of itineraries for us to choose. I have been researching tour options in Seoul for a long time and this is the only tour option that will allow us to do exactly what we want to do in a single day! Stella is very knowledgeable and speaks English very well! Highly recommended for people who doesn’t want to do the standard tourist package.

Stella was fun tour guide and was happy to talk about Korean life and culture. Very nice walking route as well if you like nature and scenery. She was also very responsive. We were late and managed to catch them at stop 2 thanks to her messaging back to us.

I had the most amazing tour today with Stella. Signing up for the group tour but ended up having a personal guide to myself since no one else showed up. Right from the start good chemistry and Stella stood firm in windy Seoul weather. After the tour should’ve concluded she surprisingly showed and explained my personal wish, the Hanook disctrict. She was so knowledgeable and I can be sometimes a bit of a nerd with questions, she helped me with understanding. Especially Korean way of thinking. We spent half a day together, learned about local food traditions at a lunch and had the most bitter but healthy tea in my life :) Thank you for this great tour, insight into Korea and life wisdom you shared with me.

Very knowledgeable guide. We had Stella as our guide and she provided a fantastic tour. Giving us a great description of the development of the Korean nation from the 1300’s onwards. As a local she shared the pride she has for her country.

Stella led us on a wonderful tour, including a beautiful mountain hike with amazing views and peaceful scenery, a stop at the palace guard house Cafe, a visit to West Village and the open air street market, and concluding at the Gyeongbokgung Palace Museum. Stella was outstanding. We started at 7:30 in the morning outside the Museum of History, and spent four hours together. We hiked up the hills behind the palace, stopped at a lovely coffee shop where we could see Seoul, then came down through a lovely park, through a charming section of the city, through a market, and ended at the palace. Stella was pleasant, informative, kind, and thoughtful. I’d highly recommend her and her tours.

Me and my girlfriend have been in Seoul for a few days before going on the walking tour with Stella. Even though we thought that we've seen it all, she showed us a different kind of Seoul we would have never been able to find on our own. The tour was really nice. We fist met at the remains of an old buddhist temple and talked about politics, history, society, etc.. It was really nice to exchange perspectives and get her insight on korran history. Still while talking, we proceeded alongside the historic city wall ontop of a hill. At the peak there is a nice restaurant, which also has gluten free options❤️. After that we decended and ended the tour at the Gyeonbokgun Palace (Main Temple). Thank you Stella for showing us this side of Seoul and be open mimded to talk about differences in our culture and ideas. ❤️ It was a pleasure to explore Seoul sith you 😁

Disappointed. After payment, we have been told there was no car and we have to arrange taxi. Even we accepted that, we received a late message few hours before meeting time that operator doesn't want to proceed and only partial amount was initiated. Be careful!

I booked a 6-hr tour with Stella, and the experience was incredible, even amid the heat wave! We started with a short hike early in the morning, followed by a visit to the palace and a Hanok village. The route was very well planned, which made the tour enjoyable. Stella is fun, easy to connect with, and full of passion and enthusiasm throughout the tour. I highly recommend Stella if you are looking for a private guide for Seoul touring services. I met Stella at the front gate of the Gyeongbokgung Palace. She was engaging, warm, and friendly. She was a very knowledgeable guide who patiently shared the historical significance of the palace and answered many of my random questions. I really enjoyed hearing her perspective of also everyday life in S. Korea. I especially appreciated how she adapted the tour to accommodate my specific preferences. We ended up going on an impromptu hike at Inwangsan-ro. And she took me to this great café with a great view called The Forest Choso Chaekbang with historical ties of guard posts that were built after the 1968 North Korean special forces raid. The old security post was remodeled into a modern book café, which was super cute and cool. I always enjoy guides who go off the beaten path and share local insights that are beyond the guidebook and standard routine. She is a wealth of knowledge given her background working in foreign diplomacy. You will not be disappointed!
