Seoul Private Local Tour: Gyeongbokgung, Seochon & Market Tour

Han was a wonderful guide who individualized our tour to the type of sites we wanted to see. He was very knowledgeable on Korean history and his flexibility made for a great tour. Highly recommended if you want a private tour that provides great experiences and helps you to understand Korean culture and history. My wife was also quite pleased with the shopping opportunities.

Excellent tour with Han - a knowledgeable young man who provides a clear sense of Seoul's history (old and modern). He patiently taught us basic Korean phrases; gave us awesome advice on food and thoughtfully adjusted the tour itinerary based on our preferences. He was quick to respond to pre-booking questions; picked us up at our hotel on time and took us back to the hotel at the end of the tour. If we were to need another tour, we would choose Han again as he is a great guide!

Han was so friendly and speaks excellent English! The tour he took us on was all walking….so be prepared. He also was patient and waited while we did a bit of street shopping. Enjoyed the Palace and the other spots he took us. Very knowledgeable. He also helped us get back to our hotel with ease! I would recommend him to others.

Very enjoyable walking tour with Han at our own pace. Spent a few hours learning about history and exploring Seoul's sights, tourist and hidden spots alike. Stopped for a lovely tea and later for snacks to re-fuel. Han was like a local friend showing us around. Had a great time.

A fun walk and talk with Han. We bought our two-day passes and conquered the subway, learned Korean history at the Palace, explored cool neighborhoods and had a great midday rest at an out of the way cafe.

He took the time to explain the history and context behind what we were seeing, and he navigated the Insadong and Ikseon-dong neighborhoods beautifully. I also really appreciated the little things—he helped me understand and navigate the subway system, was patient throughout the tour, and graciously took photos along the way without ever making it feel rushed or awkward. Jae One was a super guide for a first day orientation in Seoul. Despite the heat, he provided a useful overview of Insadong, Ikseondong and the Hanbok-crowded Gyeongbokgung. I really appreciate the extra time he took to help educate me on the subway system and getting around easily. It was a great way to get a good introduction to Seoul on a limited time visit … I hope to be back!

Was a great way to spend a long layover in Seoul. Han was very knowledgeable of the area and his english is amazing. We had so many random questions throughout the tour and he answered them with ease. Seoul is a beautiful city, wish we had more time. Well worth it.

I had a great experience with Jae Won this past week. I just flew in to Seoul for the first time and only had one afternoon to see some sights. Jae Won was great from the start. He communicated with me a few days before my arrival to confirm the time and meeting place. He met me at my hotel which was a bit out of central Seoul which was very helpful to me. We took the subway and he showed me how it all worked if i wanted to use it later on. We spent the next 5 hours seeing the main sights of Seoul like the Palace, the market and a cool little village. We stopped for a traditional Korean bbq lunch and also at a nice tea shop. Jae Won speaks good English and was very knowledgeable about Korean history. He is a very pleasant young man and his tour is perfect for a solo traveler or a couple.

My daughter and I had an absolutely fantastic experience on the Authentic Seoul Private Tour with Han. We were visiting Korea together, and this ended up being one of the highlights of our entire trip.
