Seoul Private Customized Tour: Palace,hidden Gems(airport Option)

Exceptional! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and spoke perfect English, and it was a beautiful day. Our tour guide was Chance Kim. His choice of restaurant for lunch was great!

My family and I had an amazing time on this tour! Andy was amazing and really made our time in South Korea very memorable. He was hilarious, incredibly knowledgeable, and kind. We had two toddlers on this tour and Andy was very patient with them and went out of his way to make the kids laugh. He even surprised them with banana milk one morning. My family and I feel we hit the jack pot with Andy as our guide and we’d book this tour in a heartbeat again!

They shouldn't put the word customized in their description because they don't want to work with you on what you want to do. They were initially helpful in letting me know that many of the options I wanted were not available on Monday because the attractions were closed. Good information and not their fault Monday is a day off for many public attractions. They suggested a few things, and we went back and forth with some options that sounded good. If you don't respond to them in 10 or 15 minutes, they are sending emails asking for responses right away. there are gaps of less than 20 minutes, and they are sending follow up emails. My last email was a request to give me a list of what we are actually going to do on this trip since there were so many additions and deletions due to the closure. I get an email 19 minutes later listing what we are going to do. 40 minutes after that, another email asking that I respond. Less than an hour later, they cancel. so, three emails from them in less than 90 minutes all while I am in meetings and then they cancel because I can't respond fast enough. I've probably booked 60-80 activities with viator over the years and never had such an absurd experience.

Our tour was very nice. The operator picked us up at the airport as scheduled and took us for our DMZ and hanock tour, pointing out various items that may be missed in a large tour.

Our guide Benny picked us up on time. We were able to go to all the places we were looking at. Benny was kind and accommodating and we were able to eat a good lunch at a Michelin-Guide Samgyetang restaurant in Bukchon which we all enjoyed.

Jimmy was our tour guide and we couldn't of asked for a better guy. He arrived on time, listened to our requests and delived THE best day in Seoul. We went to temples, he took us to changing of the guards, asian markets to eat with the locals, shopping districts with soo many variaties of stores, cable car ride to the peak & we ended our day with a nice walk along the river right in the middle of the bustling city. He also gave me information on how to request information about my birth family. We couldn't of asked for more.

It was amazing to be picked up at the airport and dropped off at the airport. It saved us much time and effort for our one day layover in Seoul.

Guide was very friendly and knowledgeable but did not plan for traffic and had no backup plan. Ride to Seoul took 3 hours. We would have rather just toured around locally. Guide was good once we finally made it to Seoul but definitely could have made contingency plans . Would not book again.

My sister and I both had a fantastic time with our driver BJ. He was both knowlegeable and professional. We learnt so much about the Korea's past and culture. We visit the Korean Folk Village and Suwon Fortrees.

Being met inside the airport was easy. Getting around the big city was easy with a limited time frame and different sites on offer. Best use of limted time.

Wonderful tour that allowed a pick up from our hotel and eventual end in Incheon International airport for our flight back home to Las Vegas! It made our last day in South Korea very memorable since we got to go on a DMZ tour before flying back home maximizing our limited time in this beautiful country.

We had a 12 hour layover, and Kim did a fabulous job picking us up from the airport and bringing us back, providing an interesting historical tour, answering all our questions, taking us for lunch in the market, and providing an enjoyable experience for the day. We are so glad we took the chance to do the customizable tour with him.

A wonderful day tour of 2 main palaces, Seoul Tower, and Korean War Memorial. We also had a wonderful lunch at a Korean barbecue restaurant. Jimmy was a very knowledgeable guide. He escorted us when we need to be escorted and also gave us enough free time to explore on our own. I recommend jimmy. He has a large comfortable car any picked us up at the cruise port

Our guide Shane was nice. However, his English speaking skills were lacking. It was difficult to ask detailed questions. He drove us around and it was great to see some of the city while we had a layover at the airport. The guide kept asking for our credit card to pay for parking fees. I would rather you charge more for the tour instead of asking for a member of our group to hand a credit card to the driver every time we left a parking lot. Our guide took us to a local's restaurant which our group really enjoyed. However, I tried to order something on the menu for myself due to dietary restrictions. The guide ignored me and just ordered what he thought the group should eat. I think there was miscommunication and some of my issues could have been resolved with better communication.

If you have a long layover and want to see as much of Seoul as possible with limited time and the security of getting back to the airport in time to catch your flight, then this tour is for you! Shane, our guide, did a fantastic job of prioritizing our interests and sharing the city’s highlights while ensuring we returned in time for our flight … thanks Shane!

The seafood market was a standout—we selected fresh seafood, cooked on-site, and it was absolutely delicious. This was the perfect way to end our 'whirlwind' stay in Seoul. Benny arrived promptly at our hotel to give us a day to visit some of the iconic sites in Seoul as well as enjoy an incredible lunch! He customized our tour based on our previous day to ensure we did not duplicate some of our visits . He gave us a lot of history, and really helped us enjoy the city. Lunch at a Michelin-starred noodle restaurant capped off our adventure! At the end, Benny delivered us to the airport for our trip home.

Shane is a fine tour guide and he took us everywhere that we wanted to go. The meal that we had was outstanding, one that we never would have had without his suggestion.

Alfonso picked us up from our hotel in the morning to take us on a tour of Seoul before dropping us off at the airport for a late night flight. He designed the tour to exclusively suit our needs and interests. He is a great communicator who speaks very good english. He was always courteous, helpful and polite, and showed a genuine interest in us personally. I would highly recommend Alfonso.

The private DMZ tour was an amazing experience! Benny, our guide, was so knowledgeable, and his English was perfect. We had a long layover in Seoul so Benny picked us up and dropped us off at Incheon Airport.

Sophia's English and driving skills are superior and enjoyable. We had a fantastic tower tour, cable car, Korean Historical Village, and the best authentic Korean Steak/cooking table experience. Her timing was excellent and we did not feel we had any line-ups or delays. In fact we have booked this tour company in 2 days to tour the DMZ. These guys know how to hire excellence!

Jun was an accommodating and engaging tour guide. I highly recommend spending a layover on this tour vs passing the time at the airport. But be sure your ETA is submitted and accurate!

Our guide was late in picking us up. He didn’t speak very good English so it was difficult to understand him. We went to the palace and we wanted to go to DMZ. We did go to the palace but went to the observatory which was close to DMZ. It was ok. He took us to a lake that we didn’t want to go to. We just looked at it and wanted to go to the airport like we originally asked to go. We were stuck with tolls for a place we didn’t want to go to. Wished we hadn’t taken this tour. Beware

I had a wonderful time with Alphonso my guide. He shared his knowledge with me and taught me so much. I never thought my trip to Seoul would be so awesome. I enjoyed it so much that I plan on going to Seoul in April again. Thank you Alpho you are truly a great guide.

We had Alfonso as our guide. This was our first visit to Seoul. We had indicated a rough itinerary when we booked and he was able to accommodate us. We visited the palace and temples and other areas of Seoul. Alfonso's English was excellent and his van was very comfortable. My husband and I wanted to explore Seoul and chose to do the tour with Chance. Chance was a very friendly guide and took us to quite a few places around Seoul. We went to Gwangjang Market, Namsan Seoul Tower and Seoul City Wall. Since it was nighttime, the city was illuminated with so many lights. Very beautiful to see from each of these points. Chance was awesome to talk to and very knowledgeable about Seoul and its history. We enjoyed the tour very much and recommend it to everyone.

I took this tour with guide Alfonso in 12/2019. I went with a work colleague. This was a perfectly paced tour that hit all the high points, provided guidance to find a great traditional lunch, and was flexible to hit some uniques spots on our list. Alfonso patiently helped us track down a market my colleague had visited many years ago. When we found it, we had great fun exploring the market, negotiating and making some cool purchases. Alfonso was key to all of this. We got all the history we needed to better understand present day this Seoul and Korea. I’ll be a better business partner with this understanding. Great very polite took around was great is that you can customize your Own as you go -love that we were able to sample local food , desserts and have a traditional Korean meal would recommend to any one looking for a great experience

Chance was a super tour guide. He was very flexible due to the short tour we had related to our 15 hour layover at the airport, He informed us regarding the History of Korea and the many cultural and social changes over the centuries, especially in the 21st century. We really enjoyed the tour. We choose to visit Nami Island and Petite France which are outside Seoul. The guide has very good English and very knowledgeable about Seoul and South Korea. The car is very spacious and comfortable for this tour.

Kim picked us up promptly as agreed. We saw the changing of the palace guard with him. We then proceeded to the Korean Folk Village for a Hanbook Photo Session. He graciously took our photos with his camera. The traffic on Saturday prevented us from seeing more sites. But the tour was enjoyable and stress free. We spent our time as we pleased.
