Seoul Gyeongbokgung Hanbok Photoshoot & Korean History Tour

I don't think I was prepared for how fun it is to dress up and cruise at Gyeongbokbung Palace! Ricky is an excellent storyteller, he had the best emperor's stories and answering my questions about korean history. Was a great time!

Tuesday special-20261027- I enjoyed the detailed historical explanation of the Changdeokgung Palace. It really enhanced the experience and create a deeper level of appreciation being photographed there. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The rental experience went smoother than expected despite the shop being full.

This was such a pleasant experience. The guide was very knowledgeable and the photo session was super fun. I would recommend this to anyone who finds themselves in the area.

We had such a great experience with Jacob, James, and Andrew during our tour and photoshoot at Gyeongbokgung Palace! These guys were hilarious and made the entire experience so much fun. They kept us laughing and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. My wife Christine and I wanted to capture some special memories from our honeymoon and pregnancy, and the photos turned out even better than we expected. They seriously looked like something straight out of a K-drama! 😂 It was such a cool experience getting dressed up in traditional Korean outfits and taking pictures around the palace. The guys made everything feel natural and fun, and we never felt awkward posing for photos. This was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Seoul, and we’re so glad we did it. Huge thanks to Jacob, James, and Andrew for giving us such beautiful memories to look back on. Highly recommend them to anyone visiting Seoul!

Wow, what an experience! Such an amazing combination of exploring Seoul’s beautiful palaces, learning about Korean history, and getting incredible photos along the way! The tour was so much more than a photoshoot. We spent hours walking around, hearing fascinating stories and enjoying the atmosphere. Both photographers were fantastic: professional, friendly, patient, and great at making everyone feel comfortable. The photos arrived surprisingly quickly through a private link, and the quality was excellent! So many lovely shots, including the group photos at the end! I actually booked this because a friend had done the tour a few days earlier and loved it. I went with my sister, and we had just as much fun! We also met some wonderful people, and everyone seemed equally impressed. Such a great mix of history, photography, lovely people, and good vibes. Huge thanks to the team! Would 100% recommend!

Oh my gosh, I had such a good time. The team was super nice and attentive and made the whole experience fun and stress free. It was more dress up and photo shoot than tour, but I definitely learned some things! I also could have stayed at the palace longer to explore more but had to get to another tour. I was worried it would be weird being solo, but made friends in the group and it never felt off. I would 100000% do this again.

Being a princess for one day is feel so good and pretty. We get like a ROYAL treatment by James, Jacob and Andrew. All these boys were so funny. The photographers taught us how to post and took a great numbers of pictures. The price is worth on single penny. The hanbok also pretty and look exclusive. They also will choose the place away from the crowds. Overall I did like this tour. Thank you ✨

We had a lot of fun dressing up in our Hanbok while visiting the Gyeongbukgong Palace. We were taken to many different locations for excellent photos. We received our pictures in about 2 weeks, exactly as promised. It was a lot of fun and we highly recommended this experience to family, friends and in my social media posts. Thanks again!

This was the most amazing tour I have EVER taken. I’ve traveled extensively and love to take guided tours and this one is by far my most favorite. Andrew & Jacob were not only attentive, but they went above and beyond to make sure my experience was memorable by taking the most amazing photographs, teaching me how to pose, shared history about the beautiful history of Korea…. In my opinion this was a 20/10 trip. If you come to Korea you have to try this experience with these two.

This Gyeongbokgung Hanbok Photoshoot and History Tour was so much fun! James was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the palace and Korea in general, and he answered all of our questions. The photographer Jacob was great and helped us pose. He made taking these photos so much fun! Hannah, the second photographer, was also great. The Hanbok rental store they take you to (YES Hanbok) has a lot of color options and plenty of sizes for men and women. I’m plus-sized and didn’t have any problem finding an outfit. They had me pick my style (I chose Empress), choose my colors, and they pulled my size for me. It was a very quick and painless experience. I highly recommend this tour if you’re in Seoul!

ANDREW AND JAMES ARE GREAT! We paid full price but it was all worth it. The whole thing lasts about 2 hours fully after you get changed into your hanbok. I had a question about it too and let me just say: THE PUTTING ON HANBOK TIME IS INCLUDED- immediately, you’re taken to the hanbok rental place so don’t worry. What I really loved about our tour was not just the guides and the good people, but also the places our guides led us to. We are not good with loud and crowded places and we appreciated that we were able to have our photo shoots with barely any people there so we could have enough comfort and time to get good pictures. James, our photographer, always checked in with our pictures and Andrew always was engaging with everyone in the group. I appreciated that the tour was interactive as well as informative. I’m just so appreciative of James and Andrew for being themselves and accommodating for everyone and we appreciated every bit of their personality and information. Thank you so much for a great part of our honeymoon!

My experience was so fantastic. One of my bucket list checked. It was a dream come true, wearing a Hanbok in real life. The tour guides and photographers were so professional and amazing. They are good in their own way and with a sense of humor. It’s a must to try this Hanbok experience when you visit Seoul.

I booked this tour for a group of three friends. It was wonderful to not only have the hanbok rental experience, but to also have a tour guide that could explain the history South Korea and the palace. Andrew was a wonderful guide and very knowledgeable. Jacob was our photographer, and very talented and friendly. It was nice having someone to take nice, professional photos, as well as for posing ideas and tips. We had a lot of fun and really enjoyed the experience :)

This entire experience was carefully thought out and smooth - from the hanbok rental shop to the photography and historic stops at the palace. Even the coffee break was scheduled exactly when I needed it! Both the guide and photographer were kind, considerate and professional. I don't usually know how to pose and hate how I look in photos, but the photographer told me exactly what to do, and judging from the camera roll, I like the photos very much and am very pleased with the results. Our Gyeongbokgung Hanbok Photoshoot and Korean history tour was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The communication leading up to the day was excellent, providing clear instructions for the meetup and ensuring everything went smoothly. Our guides, James and Jacob, were incredibly kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They made the entire experience fun and relaxed, sharing fascinating historical insights as we walked through the old palace grounds. It was my family of 4, with my youngest only being 6. They made it fun for all of us including the little one. Beyond being great guides, they were highly professional behind the lens, giving great posing tips and capturing truly stunning photos free of crowds behind us. Another part I loved was the convenience of the optional hanbok rental + hairdo that had a separate fee but was incorporated in the scheduled time slot of the tour. This saved us the hassle of having to find a separate rental store beforehand, making the entire process incredibly seamless. The garments were beautiful, and the hairstyling was flawless. If you are visiting Seoul and you love history, and having beautiful photos as keepsakes while wearing traditional outfits that you see in K-dramas, this experience is an absolute must. It perfectly combines a rich cultural tour with high-quality photography, making it easily a highlight of our entire trip! Highly recommended!

We had James as our tour guide and photographer, and he was incredible. Even in the sweltering heat, he went above and beyond to keep us comfortable—lending us his umbrella and scheduling refreshing coffee breaks in air-conditioned shops. James is incredibly knowledgeable about history; when he realized we were familiar with Korean history, he turned the tour into a fun trivia game. As a photographer, he gave great direction on how to pose and captured amazingly beautiful photos. This tour was the total package: gorgeous, historic, and informative. Such a fun little tour!! We were a small group of three so we had time to talk to our guides more. The hanboks were also pretty cheap but beautiful!! Having our photographer guide us was so helpful for photos! It is not a long tour but in the summer that is honestly preferable, especially in the layers of hanbok! We had a lovely time.
