Would do it again! The facility is very clean and the instructor was very clear. We learned so much.

Lovely experience, professional and warm hospitality. We enjoyed every moment. Very tasty dishes and well explained. We highly recommend, do not miss it if you visit Seoul.
Grace and Stephen were phenomenal hosts. They made us feel very welcomed, answered our many questions with smiles on their faces and overall provided a wonderful experience! 10/10 recommend
Grace and Stephen are wonderful hosts and teachers. You’ll gain an ability to create Korean flavors with confidence.
This was our favorite experience in Seoul! We booked it last minute and we are so glad we did! Grace was our teacher and she was fantastic, she didn't just teach recipes she was teaching how to really make Korean food. She helped us make the recipes based on our personal preferences , without losing the Korean flavor. Loved this and would recommend to anyone who wants to cook Korean food at home or just have fun! There is lots of tasting too, so come hungry!
I booked this experience for myself plus three family members - one of whom used to live in Korea. We all had a fabulous time! Grace and Stephen were fantastic hosts and teachers. Very kind, patient, and knowledgeable. Plus all the food we made was truly amazing (and our expectations were high to begin with). We all appreciated how you made your own food so you could season it to your liking and taste preferences. I’d highly recommend!
This was the most amazing experience. Our hosts Grace and Stephen were so sweet and knowledgeable. The food was sooo tasty! I cannot rave enough about how fun this class is and I highly recommend it to anyone in Seoul!
Has the best time during the classes - the atmosphere was great, instructions clear and we definitely learned a lot about Korean cuisine 😊
This class is everything they say and more! Grace and Steven are so welcoming. Grace is so knowledgeable and organized you really do get through 8 dishes in 3 hours and enjoy a delicious meal. I learned so much. I can’t say enough about my wonderful experience-a definite yes, and would do again. Thank you Chef Grace❤️
Grace and Stephen have created a beautiful setting to experience Korean culture thru food. You immediately are welcomed into their bright modern cooking studio, and they help you relax and feel comfortable with tea. They give you a brief historic background and insights into Korean language related to food you will be cooking that day. The stations are meticulous and organized, a joy to cook at! Grace takes the lead with the culinary portion of the class and she explains taste profiles, seasoning and cooking tips that you can easily bring back home. We had a lovely time creating a beautiful meal and sides ( bulgogi, ssam, japchae and more!) and I left confident I could recreate the meal once I returned home. They are warm and generous and it was a joy to celebrate Korean cuisine with them. Highly recommend, easy to get to via public transportation, and well worth the cost. My son and I had a fantastic time. I am an experienced cook and he is a novice and we both created delicious meals. Many thanks Stephen and Grace!
We spent a wonderful morning cooking with Grace and Stephen in Itaewon. What impressed us most was not only the food, but how much thought, care and heart this husband-and-wife team has put into creating the entire experience. The class was exceptionally well organized. Grace had all the ingredients prepped and individual cooking stations ready for us. Rather than simply having us follow recipes, she explained the dishes and the flavors we were trying to create. We cooked, tasted and adjusted our seasoning along the way. Stephen kept everything moving behind the scenes, shared stories and history, and took photos and videos throughout the class. Our small group of four prepared gimbap, fresh kimchi, japchae, bulgogi, ssamjang, jeyuk bokkeum, and zucchini and pollack jeon. It was a wonderful representation of Korean home cooking and an impressive amount to accomplish in about three hours without ever feeling rushed. I cook quite a bit at home and have made Korean dishes myself, so I especially appreciated learning how Grace approaches familiar flavors. Even our conversation about army stew with Stephen taught me something: I never leave out the Spam, but apparently I need to reconsider my habit of leaving out the baked beans! 😊 At the end, we brought all our dishes to the dining table and enjoyed the complete meal together. After hours of conversation and cooking, we became remarkably quiet once we started eating - which probably says everything about the food. What really made the experience memorable, though, was Grace and Stephen themselves. They told us they have only been offering the class for about six months, which surprised me because it is already run so smoothly. It is clearly a well-thought-out business, but it is delivered with genuine Korean hospitality, warmth and humor. You can feel how much they want their guests to have a wonderful experience. I jokingly told them this should be the only cooking class anyone needs to take in Seoul. I was joking - but I also meant it. We left with full stomachs, wonderful memories and a great appreciation for what Grace and Stephen are building. I sincerely hope their new venture thrives. Highly recommended.
This cooking class was both fun and educational. Grace is a great teacher who is clearly passionate about sharing the craft of Korean cooking and culture. You learn so much in just a few hours and get to enjoy all of what you make. Both Grace and Stephen were highly professional, organized, and meticulous in making sure everyone walks away with truly a wonderful experience. It’s well worth the cost. I couldn’t recommend it enough!
This cooking class was just as advertised. My wife and I shared the class with two other people. Four people was an ideal size such pthat everyone could receive help when needed. You don’t need a lot of cooking experience, just a willingness to try. Come hungry as you will prepare far more food than you can eat during the three hour class. The facility was easy to get to by taxi. The space is bright and very welcoming. You will go home with a much better experience understanding of Korean food and recipes you could make at home. I also picked up a few cooking tips you could use with any food.
One of the best cooking classes I’ve ever experienced anywhere. Steven and Grace are exceptional hosts and teachers. We cook and eat a lot of Korean food but we still learnt a lot. They explain in detail the Korean ingredients so you can buy them in the shops and you get to make 8 classic delicious Korean dishes that you can do at home. Excellent value and highly recommended!
This cooking experience was everything I expected and more! If I could rate it a 10 out of 10, I absolutely would. My children loved it so much that they didn’t even want to eat anywhere else—they just wanted to come back every night to enjoy the wonderful food we made together. Such a fun, memorable experience for our family! ❤️🍜
Come hungry and ready to learn!! Grace and Stephen were so welcoming and knowledgeable about the history of korean food and the way flavors worked together to create our favorite Korean dishes. Thanks for a great experience and for being so kind! 10/10 would recommend
This class was amazing for my wife and I. From start to finish the three hour class we learned so much about Korean culture and food.
We learned to make 8 dishes. Before this activity, Korean dishes seems overly complicated to make. But this experience taught us the basics/fundamentals of korean cuisine. There was no wrong or right, you can make the food to your preference. They also provided korean drinks to pair with the food. Grace and Stephen were really nice and accommodating. They made the experience more enjoyable. No prior cooking experience required! Even one of our friends who doesn’t cook, was able to easily follow. Overall, I highly recommend this activity if you love trying out local cuisine and indulge yourself in the korean culture.
Did a Korean cooking class - Grace was a fantastic teacher. Learnt so much - ate so much! One of the highlights of my stay in Seoul. Thank you Grace and Stephen
This was the highlight of our trip. Chef Grace and Manager Stephen were so warm and genuine. Chef Grace explained the cooking of the dishes so well that it made it seem easy. We will definitely be making these dishes at home. We had a group of 4 adults and 4 kids but she made sure to spend time with all of us and make sure we were comfortable making our dishes and even allowed us to personalize them to our liking. It felt like a home kitchen and they had a way of making us all feel so comfortable that it felt like family. I highly recommend this amazing experience with Chef Grace and manager Stephen!
This experience is a hidden gem and a must when visiting Seoul. We had a wonderful and memorable cooking experience at Cooking Delight with Grace and Stephen. We prepared 8 authentic dishes, and it was very much a hands-on experience. Grace provided a detailed description and history of the recipes and the ingredients. She explained why you use different ingredients as well as possible ingredient variations if you want more savory, sweet, or salty food. Grace first demonstrated how to make each recipe, and then she assisted us where needed when we cooked ours. The recipes were delicious and ones that we can make at home. We made enough for dinner, and we had plenty to take with us. Grace and Stephen were friendly and personable and provided an experience that made our visit to Seoul special. We can’t wait to make the dishes when we get back home!!
Grace and Stephen are amazing hosts — kind, warm, and so knowledgeable about Korean cuisine. We cooked eight dishes together and the bulgogi and japchae were standouts. I loved how the instructor explained the flavors and seasonings behind each dish, not just the steps. The space is inviting and the whole vibe is just really fun. Highly recommend!
I had a great experience in the cooking class. I take a lot of classes while traveling and it was one of the best ones I tried. Really nice chef with great English, I learned a lot about Korean cuisine and most importantly I had a lot of fun. Very recommend.
Great time cooking with Grace and Stephen! They were very gracious and didn't mind that we got there a bit late due a bit of issue we had on the subway. Great food and.we learned lots about Korean food and culture!
A huge thank you to my wonderful hosts, Grace and Stephen at Cooking Delight Seoul, who created a warm, fun, and engaging environment from the moment I arrived. Grace provided a helpful overview of the Korean ingredients and products to use when making these dishes at home—which made the entire experience feel approachable and authentic, not intimidating. I ended up cooking eight incredible dishes, each one more delicious than the last, and I walked away feeling like I could actually recreate them in my own kitchen. The class struck the perfect balance of hands-on learning, cultural insight, and just having a great time. They even gave me an adorable tote bag to take home—such a thoughtful touch! Truly an amazing value for the experience. If you’re in Seoul and want something memorable, interactive, and genuinely special, I can’t recommend this enough. Already dreaming about making these dishes again!

I had an absolutely unforgettable experience right in the heart of Itaewon—arguably the most international and foreigner-friendly neighborhood in Seoul! From the moment I arrived, everything felt welcoming and exciting. Our instructor, Grace, was incredibly warm, patient, and accommodating. Even though I came alone, I never felt out of place for a second—she created such a fun and inclusive atmosphere that it honestly felt like cooking with friends. Her instructions were clear and encouraging, which made the whole experience feel effortless and enjoyable. What amazed me the most was the cooking itself. As someone who’s basically a beginner in the kitchen, I couldn’t believe I was able to make eight different Korean dishes in one class—and they actually tasted amazing! Every dish was flavorful, authentic, and so satisfying to eat after making it myself. Getting there was also incredibly convenient. I mainly used public transportation while exploring Seoul, and Cooking Delight Seoul ended up being one of the easiest places to reach. There’s a bus stop literally right in front of the studio and a train station only about a three-minute walk away, which made the trip completely stress-free. Another thing I really appreciated was how clean and hygienic everything was. The studio is spotless, beautifully organized, and clearly very well maintained, which made the whole cooking experience feel comfortable and professional. Overall, this was such a fun, delicious, and memorable activity during my time in Seoul. Just look at how happy I am in the photos—the food was amazing and the experience was even better. Yum!
This was an amazing experience with a very friendly instructor, Grace, who spoke eloquently and communicated well with me throughout the class, all in English. I especially loved that Cooking Delight Seoul was conveniently located in Itaewon so I could have some fun after the class, during the evening where bars and foreigner friendly Korean nightlife would open nearby. So close to the train station and right in front of the bus station so transportation was no hassle! I am amazed at the fact that I was able to make 8 delicious Korean dishes and the results were very photo-worthy. I felt like a true Korean chef! Thank you to Grace and Stephen for being so accommodating and making this an outstanding experience for me. I went to the class solo but never felt left out on anything thanks to their friendliness and hospitality. I even want to bring my friends and family here sometime.
