Joe was a wonderful guide and clearly loves showing off his city — his excitement was contagious from the start. He took us to unique local spots for shopping we never would have found on our own, and the lunch was fantastic, very local Korean food and one of the highlights of our day. We had a wonderful driver/guide. Joe was very friendly and professional whiling to help us in every possible way. We are older and with walking problems but he help us to enjoy every step we made in our tour. Excellent guide very enthusiastic about his culture and he knew how to transmit that energy to us. This was easily one of the best tours I've been on! My two friends and I booked this private tour and got to see some beautiful places around Seoul, learn a lot about Korean history and culture, and enjoy a really wonderful day exploring the city. Our guide, Chris, was fantastic! He was knowledgeable, funny, and genuinely engaging. He shared so much interesting history, but what really stood out was how he told it. He made the stories memorable and entertaining rather than just rattling off dates and facts. He also took a ton of pictures for us, and they turned out great! The sights were wonderful, but Chris really made the experience. I learned a lot, laughed a lot, and came away with some great memories. I've been on quite a few tours, and this was genuinely one of my favorites. I can't recommend it enough, especially if you get Chris as your guide!

Brian, our guide, was excellent, professional, knowledgeable and nice.

We had a 10 hour layover at Lincheon Airport in Korea. We decided to visit Seoul with Jim but wanted to make sure we made the most of our short stay. Jim met us at the airport and took us to see the Gyeongbokgung palace, war museum, Bukchon Hanok Village streets , and an authentic Korean lunch. Jim knows all the short cuts for parking and walking which helped us maximize our time. He is also very knowledgeable of Korea and its history. Great time.

Joe spoke perfect English and was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We made special arrangements to have us picked up at the cruise terminal and have our luggage transported to the hotel. There was an additional cost to this, which we knew up front, and agreed to. This worked out perfectly. We went to the Seoul Tower and went up it. Spectacular. He brought us to a delicious authentic Korean lunch, which was included. He guided us through the food selection and showed us the eating customs. We also got to the the changing of the guard at the Palace. Fantastic experience. We then walked through its beautiful grounds. Lastly, we visited a residential area which was very popular to see how this has become a desirable area. Joe dropped us off at our hotel, but he actually went in the hotel helping us with our luggage and making sure he was there to translate if necessary to insure we had a smooth check-in. Joe was personable and helped give us insight into south Korean living. I would very highly recommend this fully customizable tour and Joe.

Brian was our guide for the day in Seoul. He picked us up at our hotel, very convenient. We really enjoyed our experiences during the day. He was easy going, talkative, and interested in learning things from guests. Local lunch was good. We learned a lot of the history, and how Seoul is fairly a new development. We had a good day with Brian. I would recommend the private tour as an option.

We had limited time in Seoul but the two days we had were filled with a mix of unique, educational, and fun sightseeing. Brian is an awesome person—so kind and thoughtful, great sense of humor, and key for me, understanding of my tired teens towards the end of the day! Truly, he was one of the highlights of our Seoul trip—to see the culture through his eyes and to have interesting discussions about past and present. We can’t recommend him enough, our huge gratitude to him!

Brian was such an excellent guide- we had our tour on a day that was super hot and Brian was prepared and looked after us. We were so thankful and impressed with his flexibility as we adjusted the tour for the weather. In addition to his adaptability, he was very knowledgeable about the city and shared that knowledge in an engaging way. Bonus: he was a great driver even with rush hour traffic we always felt safe and were having a great time. Especially if you are from somewhere cooler, the hotel pick up included in this tour is the best way to go. The van was perfect for traveling even in the heat. Generally would recommend this tour and if you are lucky you’ll get Brian too.

Our tour guide Brian in Seoul was absolutely outstanding! He was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about sharing Korea's history, culture, and traditions. Every stop on the tour was well organized, and he made the experience engaging with interesting stories and local insights. He was patient with the weird requests because I have ornithophobia(fear of birds) and he was really taking care of us, answered all our questions, and made sure my daughter and I felt comfortable throughout the day. Last praise buy not the least, thank you for the wonderful dak-galbi.... I'm making that in US every other weekend. We had a wonderful full day tour with Jin. She took our family of three all around Seoul and we loved her! She is super knowledgeable about Korean history and fun to spend the day with. She made sure we had a front row position for the changing of the guard, took us to the top of the tower and made sure we had a delicious authentic lunch. Her van had fantastic air conditioning for a hot June day and I do not know how she manages to drive in the traffic! I highly recommend her as she will make sure you see what you want and that you don’t miss anything. She will also make sure you get amazing photos of your day.

Brian was flexible and accommodating. Offered to take pictures of our family without being asked. He also gave my son tips on taking photos of landmarks. Sites were great and lunch was too! Highly recommend this tour.

Our experience with Brian was fantastic! He was thoughtful, kind, very informative, and well-versed in Korean history. The pace of the tour was perfect. It allowed us to ask questions, slow down when we needed to, and he was very helpful in identifying areas where we can take the perfect pictures. The van was clean and cool. Lunch was delicious and local. Didn’t feel too touristy. This tour overall was well thought out, efficient and we enjoyed our time with Brian.

Brian was our tour guide, and he was marvelous! He picked us up right at our Airbnb, and showed us many sites in the city, including the palaces. Brian knew exactly where we should stand so that we could have the best viewing to take the best videos and pictures. We were traveling with an older person and another person with a bad knee and Brian was flexible with the itinerary. He permitted us breaks to rest whenever we needed it. He also adjusted the itinerary to minimize walking. I would definitely recommend this tour for the personable character and knowledge of the tour guide. We had a great day. Our guide Jin was amazing, she took such good care of us, even bring frozen water bottles for us to hen she saw how hot it was going to be. Truly a great experience!

We had an AMAZING tour with Jin as our guide. She is so sweet. We saw a beautiful palace with a really long name, a history museum, the village outside of the palace, ate lunch at an authentic Korean restaurant, saw an amazing street market, A buddist temple during lantern season, and finished off with a view of the city from atop a mountain. Jin was very knowledgeable and courteous. She even took us to a money exchange store on request. All in all, a great tour.

Brian was amazing. By the end of the day, it felt like I made a new friend. This was sight seeing, of course, but also learning about Korean culture. He invited all questions. For the palace, he took us to a Birds Eye view from another building. Then he timed our visit perfectly and had us stand where we had the best view.
