Itinerary
Wear a Hanbok Experience – Dress to Impress During our Seoul Full Day Traditional & Cultural Experience (wearing Hanbok) in Seoul, you will have the chance to fully dive into the authentic environment by wearing a Hanbok. A Hanbok is a form of traditional Korean dress available for both men and women that dates back to the Joseon Dynasty. The attire is semi-formal and is usually worn during celebrations and festivals. What makes Habnok really beautiful is its vibrant colors such as blue, purple, red, and gold. There are no pockets which make the dress simple and elegant. On our trip, the ladies will have the chance to wear a queen’s hair style as well which is a special wig that used to be worn centuries ago. Make sure to have a camera handy to snap some fantastic holiday photos you can share with your friends and family!
Changdeok Palace – Discover the Joseon Dynasty’s Favorite Palace Our tour begins at one of the Five Grand Palaces, Changdeok, which was, in fact, the Joseon kings’ favorite. The palace is effortlessly nestled within a natural park, surrounded by a tranquil lake and beautiful trees. Allow yourself to take a photo for a quick moment. You will enter Changdeok Palace through the Donhwamun Gate which was burned down in 1592 and beautifully restored in 1608. Then, you will see Geumcheongyo Bridge which is the oldest in all of Seoul! Next ahead of you will be Injeongjeon Hall which is where the most important state banquets and events were held. Make sure to pay special attention to Huijeongdang Hall – the royal bedchamber. This room burned down in a fire and was rebuilt, featuring wooden floorboards and carpets, glass windows, and chandeliers that make it stylistically different from any other room in the palace.
Hanok Village Tour – What to Expect What better way to get to know a country’s heart and soul than going to its most traditional village? Bukchon Hanok Village is a 600 year old urban environment made up of hundreds of Hanok Houses (Korean traditional style houses) which date all the way back to the Joseon Dynasty. Traditionally this village was home to high-ranking government officials and nobles. Bukchon literally translated to “Northern Village” still to this day remains a residential neighbourhood, with real people living there. For this reason we ask that you be respectful and considerate at all times during our Hanok Village tour. These days, many of the Hanok houses are also operating as tea houses, restaurants, cultural centers and guesthouses. This is great for visitors because it means we will be able to enter these beautiful buildings and experience traditional Korean culture in an authentic setting.
Insadong Arts and Crafts Market – shop for Korean treasures If you appreciate art, you will fall in love with the Insadong Arts and Crafts Market where most of the goods are hand-crafted! Here, you will be able to walk down a long street full of various stalls and shops. At the top of the street, you will see a poo-themed cafe which is quite funny! You will be able to indulge in little treats as well such as waffle bars made with matcha and plum tea. Feel free to stray from the main street a bit and explore the alleys which have cute ceramics shops and more food vendors. You will have lots of fun talking to the lovely locals who are extremely friendly and helpful!

Jogyesa Buddhist Temple – travel back in time The Jogyesa Buddhist Temple is one of the most important landmarks of Korean Buddhism, first established all the way back in 1935. The temple is located in downtown Seoul and is graced by an ancient white pine tree. There are a few important steps to entering the temple. First, you must go through “Iljum”, which is the one pillar gate. The “Iljumun” symbolizes the division between the world of the living and that of the holy Buddha world. You will have a beautiful spiritual experience and be able to admire the splendid, golden statues.
Kwangjang Market Located in the Jongno 5-ga neighborhood in Seoul, Gwangjang Market was the nation’s first permanent traditional market. Established in 1905, the market today is home to more than 5,000 stores selling fabric, bedding, handmade crafts, ibaji food, and hanbok. Many of Gwangjang’s stores and alleys have remained unchanged from the way they were in the past. It is not uncommon to find noodle restaurants and hanbok stores that have been in business for as long as three generations. Specialties of the market include bindaetteok (mung bean pancake), mayak gimbap (a type of seaweed roll), vegetables, bedding, imported living goods, hanbok, fabric, and vintage goods. The market operates from 9am to 6pm, except for the food market, which is open until 11pm. Gwangjang Market is closed on Sundays, but the food market is open year round. Recently, the market was upgraded with modern-style restrooms and rest areas.

An incredible tour of the city of Seoul, with an exceptional guide, Eva.
We learned a lot about Korea. We balance perfectly different acctivities.
Excellent personalised tour. Jack was an amazing guide with impeccable knowledge
Thanks it was very informative tour. Coco is very patient with her guests.
Coco was a great guide! The pickup was easy and it was nice to visit the various places and learn about them. The Hanboks were optional.
A wonderful day in Seoul. Our group of 7 were well taken care of by our guide Coco. She speaks fluent English, very easy to understand. She is highly experienced and knowledgeable, very friendly and energetic. The transportation - Mercedes Benz mini bus is new, very comfortable, spacious and the driver drives safely. The only confusion might be due to the tour company setting us to visit Gyeomgbokgung Palace instead of Changdeokgung Palace. But overall, we are happy with the service.
Coco is so friendly and gave us suck a great experience. Lucky us!
Coco was wonderful, knowledgeable and very helpful! Highly recommend this tour!
Ray is the epitome of tour guides.

Jenny was the best tour guide. She really knew the history of Korea. She was very nice, and had great English speaking skills.
Jenny was amazing and she gave great directions. Be prepared to walk all day, they do not provide you with cold drinking water so make sure you bring some.

Jenny was very knowledgeable and fun. Highly recommended.
Our tour with Ivy was amazing! As a foodie, I especially enjoyed the restaurants/dishes she recommended (my top one being the hotteok in Gwangwang market). Definitely recommend booking a tour, as the walking distance from place to place isn’t too bad, and the experience—being able to visit different parts of Seoul—was amazing!
We love Ivy, she’s such a sweet lady, we really enjoyed our time with her.
I went on the Seoul City Full Day Tour - Changdeok Palace. With the amazing Coco, and she was very informative, made the day fun, took photos for us, and made sure we had a good time! I would highly recommend this tour company and Coco - thank you so much!

The best experience! Ray was a great tour guide and made the day fun and interesting. Highly recommend using this company - if you’re lucky, you’ll get Ray as your guide!!
Excelente experience with Ray as our tour guide. We would Definitely recommend this tour to anyone who visit South Korea. Ray will for sure give you great history of the Seoul city
My friends and I had a 24 hour layover in Seoul and had a fantastic time on this tour! Crystal was the best guide, making sure we kept on schedule while keeping a group of 30+ people together and organized. The tour itself is a great option if you don’t have a lot of time and want to make the most of it. Great variety of activities, highly recommend both the tour and Crystal as a guide!!
Our tour guide Ok-Kyung was very informative and pleasant to be with. She moved us quickly and expertly through each experience, maximizing our time at each stop. The bus was clean and comfortable, and we felt well taken care of. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Seoul for the first time!
Ms. K was a wonderful tour guide. The day was certainly filled with all the highlights and must sees of Seoul. My only complaint would be that some places like the market and Insadong felt rushed. I would have liked a bit more time to explore, but otherwise the tour was great and the information very good. Learned a lot and got back to the hotel feeling like I saw the greatest part of Seoul - tired but fulfilled!
It was a great tour…we so happy with Nova…she’s the best of the tour guide. Once again I highly recommend this tour with Nova.
Really enjoyed the tour and see the beautiful palace and temple and experience Korean culture, food and heritage. Nova, our guide, was truly accommodating and knowledgeable. She’s very friendly and a nice lady to be around with.
Excellent experience and history lesson by Nova. She was very kind and helpfully throughout the day.
It was a well worth our time. Nova was very informative and answered all our questions. She went well beyond what would be required of a tour guide. Her ability to relate to people was amazing. Transportation was bang on (let’s just say you don’t want to do a walking tour during the rain).
It was a very rainy day for our tour of Seoul but it was very well laid out only being in the vehicle for 10-15mins at a time. The tour guide Nova also accommodated our interests well being able to check out a couple extra nearby areas since we were a small group! She is also an excellent photographer and gave many recommendations for things from food to shopping places!
Nova did a great tour of Seoul. She had great suggestions on food and explained the Korean culture wonderfully. Very fluent in English.
