A very knowledgeable guide, he provided a balanced view of South Korean society and placed it in the context of the cultural background of Confucianism. I found the tour interesting and the guide was friendly and helpful. A couple of the areas have steep gradients, so choose your footwear carefully to avoid the risk of injury. Ladies, this is not a tour for heels.

Covers the Josun dynasty, Japanese colonization, Korean War, separation and modern/current era- weaving in history, culture, politics and economics. We choose this to see Seoul on our first full day and to get an understanding of Korea and the Koreans. June was an excellent guide giving us an understanding of the Korean psyche and the historic influences from the foundation of the Korean state, to the Japanese occupation, the 2 WW and the Korean War. It sounds boring but it wasn’t. We walked up to the Hanok village which was really nice and we finished near a Michelin rated broth place which we went in after the tour before we walked-on Junes advice- to Jongno 3 which was excellent. A great introductory tour to Seoul and Korea.

Great tour to learn about Korean history and its relations with other countries. June shared a lot of insights and showed us some nice locations in the city center. It is an easy walk and anyone can enjoy it. Oh, and in addition we got some good dining recommendations so it's a double win. :)

The tour was really informative and great. Our tour gide june was really friendly and explained the history of Korea very well. He also talked very good understandble English and overall a really kind person. He explained things about Korea that you would normally not learn as a foreigner. I went together with my family and even tho my parents England isn't the best they could follow the tour very good. I can only recommend!!!

The walk was really cool! There were around 10 people which was still managable group size to walk together. June was very wellspoken guide. The way he explained us the history and culture was interesting and informative. He was also answering all our questions. There was some walking so be prepared for hills and stairs. Thanks a lot!

Super informative, super fun

Great tour with great political historical and cultural insughts

We arrived at exit 9 in the main square as a ranged. June was exceptionally punctual spoke amazing English and provided us all with ear pieces so we could easily hear his communications The tour is exactly 2 hours and includes one area that is uphill for maybe a couple of hundred meters and another area that has steps down other than that the tour is very easy walking. The coverage of topics was massive he is informative about current day policies as well as historical events. We really enjoyed the tour and would recommend it as a must do to fill in an easy few hours. We would never have found some of the locations that he took us to. Thankyou
