A long but thoroughly enjoyable day. Definitely a must do trip...Got right into the spirit of things and wore pink for our visit to Pink Herb Island....The Y-shaped suspension bridge suspended above the cliffs at the Hantangang Geopark is a must!!! Glad we did the trip in autumn as the colours of the trees were spectacular. Loved the Poncheon Art Valley....could definitely have spent more time there...

Itinerary
Enjoy Pick up from 3 major Seoul area: Hongik University Station, Myeongdong, Dongdaemun and History Culture Park Station
Unlocks three of Pocheon's most dramatic landscapes all in one perfectly paced day without a rental car or complicated transfers all in one day from Seoul.
Experience one of Korea’s most unique volcanic landscapes at Hantangang Geopark. Walk across the iconic Y-shaped Suspension Bridge, offering breathtaking panoramic views of dramatic basalt cliffs and flowing valleys below. Don’t miss the Sky Bridge for an even higher vantage point, and take a short hike to Bidulginang Waterfall, a hidden gem nestled in a quiet gorge. This area is part of a UNESCO Global Geopark, making it both scenic and geologically fascinating. (Please note that some sites may be temporarily closed due to operational conditions, weather, or maintenance. In such cases, alternative attractions may be visited instead based on on-site conditions.)
Walk across Korea’s striking Y-shaped suspension bridge suspended above the dramatic cliffs of the Hantangang River. From the center junction, enjoy panoramic views of the volcanic gorge carved by ancient lava flows. The transparent sections underfoot add a thrilling touch, making it both scenic and memorable. (From 9/15~11/1, the Y-shaped Bridge will be closed every Tue. On other days during this period, an admission ticket is required. The visit is optional, and tickets can be purchased on-site. )
Step onto the Hantangang Sky Bridge and take in sweeping views of the river valley below. Stretching high above the canyon, this modern pedestrian bridge offers an open, airy walk with uninterrupted perspectives of rugged rock formations and flowing water. It’s a perfect stop for wide-angle photos and a refreshing moment in nature.
Discover the serene beauty of Bidulginang Waterfall, where water cascades gently through a narrow volcanic gorge. Surrounded by dramatic basalt cliffs shaped by ancient eruptions, the area feels both secluded and cinematic. A short scenic walk brings you close enough to hear the soothing sound of falling water.
After lunch, we will visit Pocheon Herb Island with a unique Pink Sand Zone, creating a vibrant and playful landscape perfect for photos. With its charming European-style setting, it’s an ideal stop for a relaxing stroll and a quick lunch.
Witness a stunning transformation at Pocheon Art Valley, where a former granite quarry has been reborn as a majestic cultural park. Ride round way monorail and enjoy the awesome view and short break at the crystal clear lake surrounded by enormous breathtaking cliffs.
Enjoy Drop Off to 3 major Seoul area: Hongik University Station, Myeongdong, Dongdaemun and History Culture Park Station

This is a very long day, much longer than what is advertised. The bridge walks are nice scenery ( no waterfall was there early October) but you have to pay for the last bridge or return the way you have come. The pink herb farm is very dilapidated and feels like an abandoned amusement park. No idea why we spent over an hour at the Art park, I felt it was a waste of a day in Seoul, we didn’t have a great guide which didn’t help.
Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. Despite the high cost, the time allocated at each location was completely insufficient. Specifically for Pocheon Herb Island and the Art Valley, we were given only an hour and a half to see both places and eat, which was simply impossible. Herb Island was nothing more than a small hill with a few pink-painted Christmas trees and pink sand—a total rip-off that looks nothing like the promotional photos. I definitely do not recommend this tour to anyone
This tour was lovely. The Y-shaped suspension bridge, which is usually free, is a 7,000 krw charge for Sep-Oct, but it’s absolutely worth it.
There were three of us on the trip, and we all felt ripped off. We booked this tour to visit Pocheon Park and felt as though we were visiting a horror park. Let me explain: according to the itinerary, lunch was optional at a local restaurant, and yes, it was optional, as you could bring your own food, but the deception lies in the fact that they didn’t specify how much time was allocated for lunch, nor did they mention the terrifying area where that restaurant – and indeed, the only restaurant – was located. This restaurant (which left a lot to be desired in terms of price and quality) was on Pocheon Herb Island, which is nothing more than a Santa Claus theme park (featuring a terrifying Santa Claus), fake pink fir trees, and more tacky, disjointed décor. We wasted two and a half hours here, between lunch and the 70 minutes spent visiting this ‘Island’—time that could have been split up and spent at the Hantangang Geopark, the main reason for the trip. We have no complaints about our guide, Laura.
Rewarding and beautiful trip. Herb island was phenomenal and so was the art valley and the lake. We loved it.
Great experience! Jordan was amazing . I love the locations we went to. I especially love the waterfall and the herb island.
Our guide(SeonHee Kwon) was outstanding—friendly, knowledgeable, organized, and passionate about sharing Korea’s culture and history. They kept the tour running smoothly, provided interesting facts throughout the day, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and included. Their recommendations for photos and local insights made the experience even more special.
The Geo park is beautiful and worth the trip. The second stop with pink sand and trees should be dropped from this tour. It is fake, the park is aged, very few workers and nothing is as the tour states. The final stop at the quarry is beautiful as well. The nature that is highlighted in the tour is truly missing. Was a bit disappointed with the overall experience.
The driver/tourguide Steve is very friendly and helpful. The first UNESCO and the last destination are among my favorite. I would love to return in the fall.
What an amazing day. So much to see and such beautiful places. Our tour guide, David, was polite, helpful and informative. Would thoroughly recommend this trip.
This was a wonderful day out for some greenery and open sky! The strawberries and waffles were a real treat, and the lunch spot was delicious. Our guide David was knowledgeable of what flowers were in bloom, and made suggestions for the best spots to see in the gardens. They are expansive grounds, and so it's important to prioritize which places you'd like to see. David was a wonderful guide, making each of our stops a smooth and enjoyable experience. He really went above and beyond in my case, helping to return my bag when I left it behind after the tour. Another traveler told me an attempt was even made to run after me after my drop-off! Alas, it was too late to catch me, but through helpful and clear communication, I was able to get my bag back the next day.
Would definitely do again! We had such a nice day, it was very relaxing getting out of the city and being in some nature. Even though it was off-season in The Garden of Morning Calm we had a very nice time:)
Very pleasant day, very comfortable vehicle and Nammin was very helpful and kind, we enjoyed the sights.
It was an amazing experience. Lucia was super nice and knowledgeable. Beautiful and enjoyable places.
A bit touristy but nice. The apple farm might be redundant. The guide was good and helpful. Nice company
Wonderful well paced tour with some very fun and unique experiences! Jongkook was an incredible tour guide!!
I thoroughly enjoyed this day trip in a small group. It was well organised in terms of time, and because it was only a small group, the experience was more personal and enjoyable. Everything was clearly explained, and the tour was both interesting and entertaining. Our guide did a good job as driver and tour leader.
We had a great daytour to Pocheon Art Valley + Apple picking + Garden of Morning Calm. Thanks to our guide JK, we really liked your relaxed but at the same time very professional approach. Enough time to see everything we wanted ! We're really looking forward to the other ktourstory-trips we booked for later this week! Paul and Judith.
We loved our tour with JK! Getting to these areas from Seoul is tricky, so having an experienced guide and transportation was great. The garden and art valley were both so beautiful - I’m glad we were able to go (and that we had such nice weather, too). Based on this experience, I’d happily go on another tour with KTourStory!
Overall very nice experience, even as a solo traveler; The Garden of Morning Calm was beautiful and we arrived soon enough for us to be the only group there! And you have plenty of time to visit the whole park at your own pace. Same with Pocheon, and I’d recommend taking the trail through the forest on the way down.
Absolutely perfect! Loved every single bit! Ron was such a nice guy and super knowledgeable. We Definitely recommend
Tour guide is nice and very helpfull, car also very clean and very comfortable. He also gave us present .
The tour with Lia was absolutely worth it. The places we visited were stunning, and we take home a sweet memory… the apple pie we baked ourselves! 🙂 Thank you for such a special experience.
We had such a wonderful time!! Jordan was a great tour guide providing us with good stories and tips but letting us rest and explore on our own. The garden was such an amazing experience. My daughter enjoyed making the apple cake which was delicious. The Pocheon Art Valley was also very beautiful and a creative experience but the garden was definitely our favorite!! A must see!!
Guide was friendly. Well organised and enjoyable tour. Made wonderful memories and had a fantastic time. Enjoyed every minute and comfortable bus ride from one place to another.
The program was fun, we had the chance with the weatherforcast. A beatiful sun and beautiful colors. It was a wonderful Day. Thank you to our guide Delphine
Toni and Neo were great! We struggled a little with finding the exact pick up location at DDP. With a simple call we were guided across the street from the huge golden sculpture. We started with the Garden of Morning Calm, then the Poncheon apple orchard, then the Poncheon Art Valley. The garden did not disappoint with a very old bonsai tree to the shop with aromatherapy spray for the weary traveler. Next the apple orchard will give your legs a workout climbing a hill, but light refreshments in addition to apples made the climb worth it. Finally the art valley with monorail ride was a great way to end the day. The sky garden was not for the weary climbing stairs, but the views, serenity, and porch type swings were worth it. Tomorrow provided many recommendations, and Neo got us from location to location safely. Would definitely recommend, just wear hiking or tennis shoes.
Everything was good except the Apple Farm which was beyond everyone expectation.I believe everyone was excited to see a normal Apple farm but was full of dissappointment when arrived inside the form that we are to see and pluck the cherry apples only!!Like me who lived in Singapore all my live never see an actual apple trees was so dissappointed.Hopefully in the future please write Cherry Apple Farm instead of Apple Farm in your ads. Thank you.
Our tour guide was Tino and we had the best time ever. He was very informative and had the best sense of humor. Could really passed as a comedian. lol. We booked their tour to see the gorgeous Cheonjuho Lake. We got a total of 3 stops!! First we went to this beautiful garden, then they tooked us apple picking and ended our trip at Pocheon Art Valley (Cheonjunho Lake). Definitely recommend this tour, if you could…. Request for Tino ! You will not be disappointed.
The Garden of Morning Calm was my favorite part of this tour - this is where I give 4 stars. There were stunning views, and the surrounding nature made it a very tranquil place. I liked that we were able to explore on our own, at our own pace. 2 hours was the perfect amount of time. The apple orchard was a little disappointing. They forgot to mention that the only apples for picking were miniature in size (the biggest I found is shown in photo). The flavor is just okay. We got some fresh apple juice and apple jelly after, which was nice. The Art Valley was okay. Not as pretty as the edited pictures. The sky stairs weren't open, and neither was the forest trail. Overall, an okay but long day (9am-7pm).
Some parts felt a bit quick but it was an enjoyable experience. Especially if you are in a crunch for time.
Josh, our English speaking guide was very nice and friendly, the overall trip was very enjoyable. I definitely recommend this trip
Kimi took care of the group and always ensured accountability of everyone before leaving each sight. Tour overall was good but as with most tours, required more time. Herb Island had a lot to see but not enough time. Thank you for a good tour.
The scenery was absolutely beautiful at Pocheon and it was super fun to see where some of my favorite dramas were filmed. The food at Herb Island was delicious and the greenhouse was unbelievable. This was a one of a kind experience.
Our cheerful, friendly, and warm tour guide Hakim picked us up at Dondaemun History and Culture Park Station Exit 10 and drove us to the Strawberry farm, Pocheon Art Valley, and Herb Island on 23rd Jan 2020. He was really capable as he doubled as both our tour guide and driver for our small group of four for the day. As I brought along my aged parents for this tour, Hakim was also extremely caring and patient with them. He told us not to rush and allowed ample time to visit the Pocheon Art Valley, which was a very scenic region with rolling hills, slopes, and stairs. A nice observatory area at the Herb Island was also introduced to us by our guide Hakim. Had it not been for him, we could have easily missed this inconspicuous spot. Here, we had a spectacular aerial view of the Herb Island full of colorful lights. Finally, we ended our day with delicious Kyochon fried chicken recommended by Hakim at Dongdaemun! Ktourstory offers an interesting tour package with the best-in-class tour guide Hakim. We were truly blessed for finding Ktourstory and meeting our wonderful, kind, and caring tour guide Hakim.
We had so much fun with friendly and amazing tour guide Sunny. She conducted the trip well and explained each places very clearly. We enjoyed plucking the strawberry and the jam treats were super delicious. We then went to Pocheon Art Valley. The lake view was beautiful and mesmerized. After that, we went to Herb Island for light festival. The best thing here was the aroma herb. It was so calm and romantic. Everything well went. 🥰
It was a very productive day trip! Very well planned and hassle free to visit all 3 special attractions ib outskirts. So excited to witness cherry blossoms as well. Thank you Ktourstory!
We had an all-around perfect day via Viator at the Pocheon UNESCO Geopark, the Herb Island, and the Pocheon Art Valley! Our tour guide was absolutely fantastic – he shared an extreme amount of exciting knowledge about the history of Korea and organized the tour perfectly. An unrestricted recommendation for anyone looking for a varied and informative excursion from Seoul!
Pleasant experience, well organized. Of the three stops, the most fascinating are the Hantangang UNESCO Park and the Pocheon Art Valley; the Healing Forest Area with the artificial pink sand mountain is a bit disappointing... Sally (the guide) was very nice and engaging.
Awful disappointment for this day: Herb Island, we expected something natural, with herbs... we found ourselves in a tasteless amusement park where the herbs were nonexistent or almost so. Lake Sanjeong and its serenity... an artificial dam with a carnival... (you can walk all around the lake and it’s quite nice, but we had fighter jets in full exercise making a terrifying noise that echoed in the valley 😅) And to finish, Art Volley... the ridiculous observatory... the quarry was quite pretty but nothing extraordinary either. In short: too many hours of transport (6 hours from Seoul) to see nothing extraordinary.
And amazingly, you feel more confident in knowing places with a guide, being able to eat strawberries harvested by you and an unforgettable experience.
Contudo, nao reduz a qualidade do passeio. Registro que o atendimento dos profissionais ( guia e motorista) foram de extrema cordialidade, competência e bom humor.
The tour guide is very professional, Kkday's team is handled by KTour, the content is very good, the car is a big bus with three rows of seats, sitting comfortably, strawberries are very sweet, they are also easy to pick up, the art valley is spectacular, the tram is easy to ride, the dining price is reasonable, the lights are very beautiful, the old children are happy.
