Joe was a fantastic guide - so friendly, patient, accommodating and knowledgeable - it was a perfect tour as a family with older children and we really appreciated having such a great guide - he was the best part of the trip according to my daughter Thankyou!

Our guide Theo did a wonderful job. He made contact the day before to ensure our meet up time and he arrived early the day of the tour. During the day of the tour he was friendly and engaging. The tour to the DMZ was amazing and we went on to see more sights afterwards back in Seoul. All in all a great day.
Our guide was Brian. He spoke English well and was amazing. He had a lot of great knowledge about Seoul and the history. Brian made our excursion stress free and fun! I’ll definitely be coming back and doing the Kpop tour next! Thanks, OneDayKorea!
Travis was an amazing tour guide. My mum cannot walk for long so travels and uses a folding mobility buggy. As such getting on tours to various places can be a struggle. But Travis created the perfect itenary to accommodate my mother. At each stop he would go into the building to look for an elevator or search for a ramp in and out the various places. Travis had a vast knowledge of the DMZ, the war and would tell personal accounts that he had been told by his family that he was happy to share with us. My mother never felt rushed, she could take her time looking at everything. She was able to relax and take in all the history. We even got the buggy on a gondula that was fun. In the car the guide would tell my mother about the history of Korea so the journey to each point was not silent, so more knowledge gained each step of the journey. He took us to less known tourist spots the focus being on the history, so we saw many UNESCO sites and a destroyed locomotive that still contained bullet holes. And the broken bridge that seperates the North from the South. A wonderful trip and the highlight to my mums visit to Korea.
Travis was a great guide on our recent tour of the DMZ. As a disabled person it is often difficult for me to go on tours as I use an electric scooter and most guides are too fast. Having a personal tour was woderful. Travis is very knowledgeable and speaks good English. He allowed us as much time as we needed and made sure I could access all areas and soon started guiding me to ramps. I found the trip very informative, emotional and thought provoking. One of the many memories I will take home with me thank you.
Had an excellent time with Travis as our guide. This tour of the DMZ area was well planned and definitely worth recommending. We had Travis come pick us up at our hotel in central Myeongdong and he escorted us throughout the day. He provided interesting information in South Korean history as well as the complicated situation with the neighbors to the north. We could all ask questions and he even allowed myself to interpret to my group of non-english speakers. He even contacted me the night before via WhatsApp to make sure that everything was all set for the tour in the morning. 5 stars to Travis!
We were sold a private tour that would be suitable for a disabled person. We were picked up in a private vehicle but then made to transfer to a huge shared coach. This was not explained to us when we booked. My disabled partner couldn’t access most of the locations. I specifically asked if the trip would be ok in a wheelchair and was told yes. We were misinformed. We could have saved money and joined au group tour as that is what we got anyway. Very disappointed.
We enjoyed a day with Travis, and he was great, answered all our questions and was very sweet. He could tell us all about Korean history, and it was very interesting.
We had an amazing and educational trip to DMZ. Brian, our tour guide made the trip memorable. He was very knowledgeable and spoke fluent English. He was very courteous too.
Billy was a great driver and tour guide. He took very good care of us. He told us a lot of historical facts about the war and forming of the DMZ. He didn’t rush us and gave us plenty of time to appreciate all information and sites.
Went on trip to DMZ. Our tour guide was Adella. She is so polite and kind. She gave us a history lesson. My wife and children learned a lot. She was always punctual. We would definitely go on another tour with Adella!!
A veery very bad experience with this company. Promises until you pay……. And than ….nothing. Lousy tour . Asked us to buy water…..a shame!!we paid 160 US dollars for 2 people!!very disappointing. Not recommended at all. This is a tourist trap. Beware!!!!
Tommy did a great job of guiding us through the sites and managing our time well. He knows the area well and is ver knowledgeable.
Buy a tour is a worldwide tour provider that is excellent! I have used this company a number of times, and it is always that they provide above and beyond service!
We visited a number of DMZ sights including the Odusan Unification Tower and sights at Imjingak like the steam engine, Skywalk, Bridge of Freedom and Beat 131 (Underground bunker). We then spent time at the War Memorial of Korea and finished up at the Seoul Tower. The tour gave us new insights on the devastation of this war and then the speed in which South Korea rebuilt is truly remarkable. Our tour guide and driver, Brian was excellent. He was knowledgeable and interesting. We would highly recommend this tour company and guide.
Our guide Jay did a great job. Super nice, knowledgeable and made the day easy. Would recommend him for any tours in the area
We had a great guide Henry who took us to the DMZ. He was really knowledgeable and made a difference. Much better than a public tour. Once you get to the DMZ area though everyone is loaded onto the same buses and so the timing is decided by the DMZ people. The third tunnel was crowded and we didn’t have enough time to make it right to the end as the line kept stopping. So we had to get back to the surface which was a shame. Might be better to go during the week as it was really busy on a sat. A great experience. Sad to see how many families are seperated by the DMZ.
Very nice half Day spent in DMZ - our driver and guide Justin picked us up at our hotel on time with a very comfortable van. We spent About 90 minutes on our way to DMZ. We saw the 3rd infiltration tunnel, Dorasan train station, Dora observatory, Imjingak park and much more. Justin knew a lot of interesting information and was able to answer all our questions. We would Just appreciate to have more time at each stop of the tour - but this is not "problem" of the guide as you have to follow the instructions and itinerary of the DMZ officials. :)
My husband and I always book Viator’s private/custom tours in our travels to Asia. As travelers we want to make most out of the extra money we spent on these private tours. Need less to say, the tour guide can either make or break our travel goals. We visited yesterday DMZ and the N.Seoul Tower and we were so lucky to have Andrew Chung as our tour guide. This gentleman is the perfect tour guide . . very pleasant, knowledgeable (we learned a lot from his narration of the history of the Korean war) , attentive, an accommodating photographer . . all in all we simply felt that we are in good hands. What also made this trip memorable is that after the tour, Andrew led us to this wonderful restsurant where ( Andrew says) Korean Presidents and celebrities dine. True enough the restaurant walls are filled with pictures of famous people. But the highlight is the sumptous food that we had.
Excellent Tour. Tour guide Jay Im was great. Excellent explanations. We were initially also going to the Tower as part of the tour but after speaking with us he determined the war memorial would be more interesting to us and he was right.
We did two days with Justin and Jess - one day tour city : old and new, and the second day seeing the DMZ. Both days were fantastic. Justin seriously goes out of his way to make sure everything is perfect. He is very knowledgeable and adds a lot of fun into the day. Jess was quite new to the team but she added great information and fun to the day as well. Justin took heaps of photos for us. We would definitely recommend both Jess and Justin and the team at One Day Korea, and hope to be in Seoul again to catch up and use their services again.
I thoroughly recommend this fantastic tour. Justin the guide was not only very knowledgeable but also a cracking host. Very attentive and did his best to ensure we got the most from our trip. Kelly & Paul from NZ!
This was a day trip to the DMZ which was booked at the last minute and we cannot say enough by way of praise. Well planned and well executed - we were met at the airport and off to the DMZ which took an hour. Non stop informed narrative from Brian about the route and about what we could actually see for ourselves and reach our own conclusions about what was happening in North Korea. Poor Brian had to cope with some of our party having some nasty bug and he took it all in his stride. If you are visiting Korea and have a day to spare this is a must. Our party had 4 young people who knew little about the history and Brian's ability to put it all across in a fascinating way gave us 4 young people who were captivated.
Excellent! Brian took us to DMZ in private car and then to airport. It was a special service and everything worked perfectly. Thank you so much!
This was a great tour of DMZ. Our tour guide Justin was great. Everything went according to plan. I highly recommend going with a tour guide to DMZ.
We booked a tour to DMZ. Our private guide Jay Im was very friendly and professional. He really made our day!
Justin was amazing! We had already visited the Seoul tower and he was willing to change the itinerary to visit a Buddhist Temple instead of the tower while there was a flower festival going on. He exceeded expectations on the DMZ tour and took many great photos of our group. We would have never found the great Korean BBQ place he took us to on our own. After the tour was over he treated us to an ice shop the featured a Korean ice cream delicacy that we had never tried. All in all this tour was amazing and would suggest it to anyone wanting to go. He is a must request tour guide anytime you are in Seoul.

The dmz was a little disappointing seeing it was rated very highly. Our personal guide made up for it. If you can afford it, do a private, personal tour

The tour was good and we had a really good tour guide named Kim. He was knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant and we would highly recommend him. The DMZ part of the tour was very interesting and well worth it. The Dragon Hill Spa was OK but it took a long time to work out what we were able to do and then how to do it. I would have happily left that part out.

The guide barely spoke English, so we had no explanation. However, the guide was courteous and available.
We had a great day at the CIA from guide Justin, who first showed us the DMZ and its sights, and then we went to N Seoul Tower to enjoy a beautiful view of the city of Seoul. I recommend both the guide and the Enterprise, they led our group with great harmony and safety!
