Nami Island, K-garden And Gangchon Rail Bike Tour From Seoul

I lived in Korea for a year when I was stationed there with the military. It’s a beautiful place filled with warm and kind people. Even amongst all the great activities to do in this wonderful country, this tour stood out. First, it’s not super touristy. All the activities are almost exclusively attended by Koreans, so it’s a great way to meet and talk to locals. Second, the activities themselves. The Garden of the morning calm may be one of the most beautiful gardens I have been in. Nami Island is super cute, almost a mini, low key theme park. And the rail bike was super fun. Finally, Sean was a great guide. He worked so hard to make sure everyone had a great time, and he did everything himself, including driving. This is a well earned 5/5 stars.

The tour itinerary was excellent. The island and gardens beautiful. The rail park was fun and pedaling easy. Yamy the guide kept the group on time and maintained the tour company scrip and upsell. Now the downside, we would have preferred to pay a higher tour price versus being forced to eat an over-priced gross lunch (before ferrying to the island) where obvious commissions were paid. The recommended chicken contained only a few prices of boiled dark meat with skin attached. There were plenty of restaurants on the island. In addition driving all the way to West Seoul to pick up merchandise sold on the bus next to an endorsed souvenir shop was crazy. The tour would have been perfect if we had an extra hour on the island and picked our own lunch spot and a drop off location on the east side of the city.

This was an all day tour with Alex. It was a beautiful experience. At first we went to Morning calm garden, then Nami Island, and finally the railbike.Andrew was very helpful and very good at his job! Thank you for showing us a glimpse of South Korea!

Alex our tour guide very friendly . The tour itself is very nice . Too bad we were not able to go to Nami trail due weather/ mechanical issues. Next time we visit Korea again.

The whole tour was amazing. Mr CK able to manage a large group during the tour. Our rail bike was cancelled because of the rain but the whole experience was worth the tour.

We had a great experience with Alex (SA Tour) in mid-September. He did a great job managing a large group and communicating salient information. He was also helpful given our dietary restrictions and other needs.

The guide “Zero” was adorable. She was easy to talk to and very friendly. Loved the rail car! The garden at the end of the day was beautiful and so relaxing.

Very nice and calming tour, the food was excellent tasting I loved it. Zero actively helps you if you have any allergies, and you can ask her anything. My favourite part was the railbike experience with lots of surprising things along the way! I'd really recommend doing this tour :)

I was charged twice for this Nami tour. I was told double booking but not my fault. The credit card payment for the first time did not go through so I was told through email to re-book because first one is cancel. I felt, I was cheated. I hope I got refund. Our tour guide (Rose) is good guide. She is professional. I gave to her the 5 star rating that I showed. In the beginning. Me and my wife enjoyed the tour mostly Nami Island but not enough time there. If there is Nami Island tour only better for one day.

The Rail Bike ride was the best part of this tour! It was great experience with scenic views along the way.

This tour was a great experience! Our tour guide Jamie was great; was very clear and very informative! Tour was planned out very well; plenty of time to wander and take lots of photos! Highly recommended for anyone who’s looking for a mix of fun, adventure and to get in touch with nature.

The tour was very well organized and communication was superb. Jesse was our tour guide. The night before the tour he created a WhatsApp group for the day and relayed all important information through there. We visited Gachong Rail Bike, Nami Island, and the Garden of Morning Calm. At each place, Jesse made sure we all knew the return time and to use the bathroom before getting on the bus. We were also informed of distances between destinations so we could decide whether to use the bathroom or not. For lunch, we had dakgalbi, which was spicy stir fried chicken. Jesse took our orders in the morning so that the food was ready when we got to the restaurant, saving valuable time. Overall, I’d recommend this tour to others visiting Seoul!

The tour was packed with activities, and I really enjoyed the rail bike ride (although it would have been even more fun if we could have gone a bit faster). On Nami Island, there were lots of beautiful spots where we could take photos and relax. The scenery was absolutely gorgeous, and the garden was beautiful too, even though it wasn’t the season for it😊

I have a great trip to Nami island, rail bike and garden of morning clam. Jesse did a great job and made our tour enjoyable.

Really nice combination of activities. The rail bikes are awesome, though would be great if the ride was a little longer. The island was serene and beautiful. Basically just a huge park with a hotel and water park. Had a great walk exploring for a while. Finished at the garden which was a really well manicured arboretum. We were there in August and it was setting record high temps so be prepared for walking in heat and high humidity. Would likely be about perfect during shoulder season. Guide was a little stressed but got us where we needed to go effectively. Wasn't thrilled with our one option for lunch. I'm ok with eating where he tells us, if it were part of the tour price but, if I'm going to pay for it myself, I'd rather have the freedom to choose across the several restaurants available. Guessing he's just trying ti keep people together though. With traffic, it's a long day so bring a backpack with snacks, water, entertainment etc.

Tour was good fun, the scenery was beautiful. I went on such a hot day but we somehow got through it with smiles. Big thanks to our tour guide Nana for giving recommendations, motivating us for the heat and her good spirits!

This was an amazing day filled with beautiful sights and great experiences. Our guide Jesse was super kind and helpful and kept the day running smoothly. He also coordinated our lunch orders while on the bus so our tasty meal (including some vegetarian options) was ready promptly and enjoyed by all before our Nami Island adventure. Each destination of the tour- The Rail Park, Nami Island and The Garden of Morning Calm- were each so enjoyable and everyone will fondly remember this day! I highly recommend this tour!

Jesse was fantastic. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging. He was a very good communicator over WhatsApp, offering tips and suggestions for both during the tour and after. Garden of the Morning Calm was the best of the trip - just gorgeous.

The whole thing was awesome and went exactly as scheduled loved the free time allowed to explore everywhere was very beautiful. The guide Mina was amazing very informed and fun she kept everyone on schedule and well informed she is so personable and accepted all questions even when asked about what she just went over.

Marcos was an excellent guide. The trip and sights were excellent. Would highly recommend the Zip Line to Nami Island if you want an excellent view. The ride was reasonably exciting but not too much for the slightly adventurous. The island was beautiful, and the Gardens were gorgeous. Well worth the money!

Everything was great we had so much fun but the only thing I did not like our guide Nami. I could barely understand her. She had such heavy accent and spoke very fast. And had hard time to express herself properly in English . Second part that I did not like it the bus was so hot. We were almost died . They had AC just like in airplane it did not cool down that much. I did not like food in restaurant. But overall we had great time

A wonderful tour, the guide was engaging, funny and knowledgeable. The attractions were absolutely beautiful, we could have spent days in the Garden of Morning Calm, and the rail bike was so much fun with some breathtaking views. Comfortable buses with excellent drivers. Highly recommended!
