Excellent tour. Our tour guide Patrick was friendly and nice. We had a good time especially at Seoraksan where we were given time to do a little hike down the mountain.

The tour was well organized and went to three amazing locations. The hike on the mountain was just a little hard than expected due to the rocks, so be sure to wear good shoes for hiking. Really enjoyed our guide, Ki!

He was friendly, knowledgeable, patient and attentive to our needs throughout the tour. We truly appreciated his hospitality and the interesting insights he shared about Korean culture and local life. Thank you, Ki, for making our Seoul experience such a great one. Highly recommended!

The tour itself was enjoyable overall. Our guide, Patrick, was helpful, spoke good English, and communicated clearly throughout the day. However, toward the end of the tour, as we were returning to Seoul, the guide unexpectedly began sharing his personal political opinions. He made mocking remarks about the U.S. president and questioned the presence and purpose of American military forces in South Korea. As an American citizen with personal ties to the U.S. military, I found these comments uncomfortable and inappropriate, particularly because they were unsolicited and unrelated to the sightseeing experience. Guests come from different countries and backgrounds and may hold different political views. I believe a professional tour guide should be mindful of this and avoid introducing potentially divisive political discussions unless guests specifically request them. Unfortunately, these unnecessary remarks left a negative impression at the end of what had otherwise been a pleasant and enjoyable tour.

* The support from Sean and Louis was brilliant. Louis met us at the pick-up spot nice and early - he was there 30 minutes beforehand when I arrived and approached me to check if I was part of the tour. * Driver was great - the trip packs a lot into one day and the vehicle was comfortable and the drive safe and efficient. * The hike was great and we were informed in advance what to prepare for and bring. The hike is largely downhill, especially at the start, and very rocky, so although it is fairly easy, it can be tricky for those who are clumsy like myself, or who have disabilities. Definitely wear hiking shoes and avoid carrying heavy bags. Our guide stayed at the pack to make sure we kept pace and met at the meeting point. He kept our safety paramount. * Lunch was great, but I would suggest that the tour considers a packed lunch for the bus to avoid having to stop. The drive is quite long so it would give more time at the other destinations if lunch was provided on the bus, or if time was made to eat at Nami Island. But the meal we stopped for was absolutely delicious and Sean helped me and the other tour members pay easily at the end. * Bring your own snacks for the drive - just make sure that it doesn't smell. You're responsible for your own rubbish, so make sure you have a bag to put it in at the end of the trip. * Remember to bring a portable charger so you can keep your phone charged up for the busy day. There were charging ports and free WiFi on the bus which worked very well. * Blinds on bus in case it gets too bright and sunny. * Make sure you wrap up warm for the day (I went in October) as it gets very cold. If you haven't got appropriate clothing, there's a chance to buy jackets, hats, gloves, scarves etc at the first stop off point. Would definitely recommend a warm jacket and hat at least. * The hike includes some ropes and hand rails. Some rocks can be slippery. * Nami Island was brilliant. It gets very busy, so if there are things you want to see/do, have a think before you get there so that you can maximise the time. The time did feel short (we had one hour), and I think it would be great to have a bit more. Island was beautiful and there's an opportunity to take either a ferry or zipline across. Ferry is about 5 minutes. * I loved the garden of morning calm. Very tranquil with soothing music playing. It felt like a lovely way to end the day. Great trip, lovely people running it, and the chance to meet some really great people while seeing more of this beautiful country.

Great experience travel 2.5 hrs to the mountain side hiking beautiful scenery Nami island lots of things to do

Sean was an excellent guide - the highlight of the trip was our hike in Mt Seorak with the wondreful autumn colours. We had just the right amount of time at each stop nd we stayed on time the whole day. I was also impressed with the bus driver (I didn't catch his name unfortunately) who was very considerate, confident and safe - I barely noticed the winding roads as we headed into the mountain.

Awesome trip. Patrick was an amazing tour guide - very knowledgeable, great humour, and very attentive to ensure everyone a great trip. Highly recommend it. We had a lot of fun.

Mt Seorak was definitely the highlight of the day – absolutely beautiful and worth the trip. Nami Island, on the other hand, felt way too busy and didn’t really have much to see, while the Garden of Morning Calm was pretty but not essential. The tour itself was very long, and honestly the company might not need to include all three stops. As nice as our guide was, the experience sometimes felt a bit like being on a school trip – lots of rules and a slightly patronising tone. Lunch was tasty, but it isn’t included in the my price and you don’t really have the option to skip it. Overall, it’s still worth doing for Mt Seorak alone, but be prepared for a long day, and I’ve had better guides on other tours.

His English was excellent, and he brought so much energy and enthusiasm to the day. We also really appreciated how attentive he was to the younger ones in the group. It was a really beautiful experience the Nani island and the hiking really great if it is autum perfect temperature but I put 4 stars because the food that recommend was regular I taste better dakgalbi but Patrick and the tour was really good!!

I really enjoyed this tour! It’s a long day with a lot of driving but there’s great WiFi on the bus. The scenery was amazing and I enjoyed seeing a variety of sights. FYI, there’s a gondola up to the top of the mountain at the first stop. I’m super scared of height and was incredibly nervous about this but it’s smooth as silk and big enough that you can keep from watching out the windows if you don’t want to. Highly recommended even if you’re a scaredy cat like me. It’s really rocky from the gondola to the top of the mountain so wear good shoes! Nami inland is pretty touristy (mostly Asian tourists, I didn’t see any other Westerners besides us) but very charming despite that. Really enjoyed it! The garden at the end was lovely and had particularly nice souvenirs. Patrick was a great guide and I’d really recommend this tour if you’re not in the mood for being in the city.
