Janggun was an exceptional tour guide! His communication was excellent, he was very professional, knowledgeable, attentive, and kind. He was easy to understand and made sure I was able to fully enjoy the tour and make the most of my day. As someone visiting Korea for the first time and not speaking Korean, I especially appreciated how helpful he was in making sure I knew how to get around. He made sure I found the pickup point and even kindly ensured I got off at the correct drop-off location closest to my hotel. I was incredibly impressed with his attention to detail and genuine care for his guests. I had a wonderful day and was able to maximize my experience thanks to him. I would highly recommend Janggun to anyone looking for an outstanding tour guide. He truly went above and beyond and made my tour a memorable experience!

What the H…?? For whatever panoramic views this mountain offers, none was given to the mass of uninformed, elderly visitors that struggle every step of the way after they get off the cable car, myself included. It was a miracle that I didn’t break my neck, I returned from this Survival Game with a deep resentment for the park personnel for not taking our safety into consideration. Nothing to see except a mountain of rocks. Bad is an understatement.
It is very good experience. We hope we can be back..
The daytrip was perfect for me and my kids, we loved being able to do things on our own after short and simple explanation from our guide, Kim. He was funny, kind and very accommodating. The drive was a bit fast for me, but the kids enjoyed it as they felt like we were riding on an amusement Park 😅 All in all a very wonderful day from the pick up to the eating place and delivery we were very well taken care of. I recommand the trip to everyone who likes nature and want to see the beauty of what Korea can offer in few hours. Unforgettable 🥰 Thank you 🙏🏾
Great day trip! Lots of time to see the attractions at both sites. Our guide was great and took us to Nami before Seorak to avoid crowds. It worked! Overall good value for money and a great way to see more of South Korea if you are stationed in Seoul.
Nice day trip from Seoul, the Seoraksan national park is beautiful! Our guide was very helpful and had a great energy.
Nice memory, guide was friendly and helpful
The guide and driver were absolutely wonderful. It was a pleasure to chat with them the entire trip. He was very cheerful and friendly 🫶🏻 We managed to see everything. I really enjoyed it. Entrance tickets were also already included in the trip. The atmosphere during the trip was also cheerful and pleasant. I’ll definitely contact you again!
It was a very nice day, Seoraksan and Nami Island are stunning places and the guide was really nice with us.
Really fun and pretty ! So good when you want to see nature in Korea
There was no tour guide, the driver tried his best to explain few things about the place. It was just a transport service.
Nami island was the highlight of the tour. Very nice tour guide Charlie. However was not aware that a majority of this very long day would be spent travelling in vehicle. 1.5 hours at Nami was not enough time and 2.45 hours at mountains was too long for cable car & temple but not enough time for waterfall hike. I would go to both again but on separate days and have at least 3 hours at Nami
Great trip and probably my favorite of 5 with the DMZ tour! Nami island was so cool riding a bike around. Be sure to take zipline over. I thought you had to lie flat but you sit up and wish I did it! The National park was awesome too but couldn’t see from the top due to crowds. Definitely recommend the tour!
We had an amazing time at Nami Island and Soeraksan! Our tour guide, One, was fantastic and made the entire trip a wonderful experience! Very knowledgeable and friendly. We stopped at Nami Island first and beat the crowds, so it was very enjoyable and peaceful! My wife and I rode a tandem bike and really enjoyed circling the island, seeing the peacocks, the gardens, ringing the bell and enjoyed the restaurants and the short ferry ride. Soeraksan was absolutely beautiful and we loved hiking the trails and seeing the budda and temples and gardens. We took the cable car to the highest peak which had a great walk to the too, but weather was not cooperating, so it was cloudy at the top, so no good view, unfortunately. Hopefully next time. Long day, but well worth it! Stopped at a rest stop on the way back and had some great food. Got back to Seoul at 8pm.
Annoyed that he asked us to download another app to communicate other than WhatsApp. He was actually unable to contact me via WhatsApp so I didn’t have the info had anything changed. He should have then emailed me but instead I was left in the dark. Should just create. WhatsApp group to communicate. The tour itself was fine but it really should include the cable car as there isn’t enough time to compete most of the hikes so the cable car is essentially the only option. Nami island is geared toward kids but we enjoyed the art and culture.
Had a very pleasant day with the small group. Tour guide Mr. Kim is very nice and patient.
My tour guide Eric is very thoughtful and helpful. Although this time he is also our driver I feel very safe when he drives I took a good nap. Thank you Eric.
Thanks a lot for the guidance. Got to see the beauty of the Nami island forests and Mt. Seorak. Only feedback is there was not really anything operating that day on Nami island and had to take the ferry back to get a proper meal for lunch. Also, there were signs of hornet wasps and snakes on the trees. Given that this was a sepf guided tour, there should have been some warning and directions in case of an emergency. All went well thankfully.
Highly recommended. Our tour guide Coco suggested to visit Nami island first and we had almost two ours to explore the beauty of the land with autumn seasonal change.after the lunch had a two and half drive to the mount seorak. An wonderful experience visiting these two places
Rainy day. Our tour guide was awesome. The weather was pouring some blessings. The joyride was amazing. The places were relaxing .
Beautiful locations. Serok Mountain had sonny trails to take to enjoy Korea's natural beauty. Nami Island was fun! Took a zipline to the island. So many whimsical photo shots. David Oh was our tour guide. Very informative and so friendly. He gave us great descriptions od places to view on trails and best ice cream and hoduk locations on Nami Island.
My Seorak and Nami Island were outstsnding. Great facilities at both. Our Guide/Driver Coby was one of the best guides we’ve ever had in our overseas trips - knowledgeable, ever-helpful, great driver in crazy Seoul traffic. 5 Stars!!!!
Amazing view, worth hiking up the (many!) steps to the top of the mountain! Our guide was great, funny and informative. It made the long drive a pleasure.
We got to Nami Island before the crowds which made it way more magical. Hiking was fun in Mount Seorak too. Our tour guide Jordan was very clear and helpful.
A great tour on Tuesday. Guide Jordan was on time and made sure everything went smoothly. Fantastic, thanks for an enjoyable day.
It was so gorgeous! If you would like to explore a part of the Korean outdoors do this tour. Brandon was nice switch the trip where we went to Nami Island first and that was perfect. There were no crowds while we were there but one the way out it was full of people. Then is was perfect weather for the mountain. This was a hike !!! So be prepared but the views were fabulous!
We went to Mount Seoraksan and Nami Island. Seoraksan National Park is fantastic and Nami Island is also worth a visit. Our guide Tino Kim took very good care of us and gave us first-class advice on the hiking Trail and for the food. The times stated in the itinerary were adhered to exactly. We can highly recommend the tour with K-Tour Stories and Tino as a guide.
It was a little chaotic at the beginning finding the group and being a bit confused due to the huge number of groups in the bus terminal, however the guide made the excellent decision to change the itinerary to ensure we got to Nami Island before it got too busy. This meant we were able to spend time riding and seeing everything on the island before it got packed. Mt Seorak was great, however as it was peak season it was very busy and involved a bit of running and rushing to get to vantage points etc. The tour guide did his best to work around this, however, so it still ended up being a great experience overall. It was a huge and tiring day (13 hours with a lot of hills/hiking if you’re game), so be prepared!
Great tour!!! definitely recommended! we enjoyed how we were able to choose which trails to go. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and share with us so much information on this park!
Good trip to see Nami Island and Seorak Mount. But 3 hours in Seorak is very short so if you want to do all the hiking you should take a longer trip.
It was an incredible experience. The scenery on the hike was breathtaking and the tour is an absolute must if you are in Seoul. The guide Ki did a great job and was extremely nice, informative and funny.
It was amazing trip in Mount Seorak and Nami island. Perhaps it will be necessary more time in Mount Seorak
Stunning part of the world. We were very lucky with the weather which made this a lovely way to spend a day. My advice is to use the able car to see the top of the mountains - absolutely stunning! Worth the very early start and long day.
We had a great time! Everything went as planned. Coby was a great guide who spoke really good English. We definitely recommend this trip!
Hello, I would recommend this trip. The weather played a great role on the island and in the mountains. Tino gave great inside and was very helpful. Thank you Tino.
The tour were well structured, the drive were very comfortable, Richard, the tour guide was well experienced, educated, and loved what he was doing. Costumer services were excellent and I will buy tours again when I get back to Seoul or other cities.
Our guide, Bita, made this tour very easy and enjoyable. She kept us well informed of the areas and the best activities to do. Both places were so pretty and majestic to visit. Beautiful places to visit in the fall.
The views were stunning but the tour itself was a little lacking. We hardly got any information on what Nami Island was or the history of the Island except it being on a Korean show and we were supposed to have 3 hrs at both sites but it was more like 1.5 hrs at Nami Island and 2.5 hrs at Mt Seorak. We weren't given enough time for rest stops/use of toilets and I as a solo traveller was asked to get the subway home when the entire reason i booked the trip was because of pick up and drop off near my hotel. I was made to feel very bad that I didn't get the subway home and was left alone with the driver for the final stop who was vocal about being annoyed to drop me to my stop. It was not a very nice way to end the trip.
My son booked this trip. From where we were staying to meeting point was very hard to go. We left 7 am to get there. from subway station to bus depart, we had to walk 20 minutes very confusing way , we ran to get to meeting point trying to make on time because we got lost. We arrived 8:10 , I sow bus leaving and we waved like crazy. They just left. Lady came out , she said that bus just left. Answer , I got “The meeting point’s name is Namsan Yejang PUBLIC Parking Lot. We gave you a clear explanation why we had to leave on time. Please note the departure time was 8 am instead of 8:12 am. Hope you understand our company’s policy. Let us know if you would like to reschedule your tour by paying 50%. Thank you!” I never had a tour which did not wait 15 minutes. I have been traveling last 12 years all over country .
Especially the time in the national park was very nice. We had the choice to go hiking or to take the cable car up the mountain and afterwards we could have a relaxed lunch.
They were great from the beginning and considered every one of our needs. Would recommend without a doubt!
I really enjoyed this trip! My guide, Jenny, was prompt and friendly. She shared a lot of insight about Korea, the two destinations, and Seoul. My group was a small, 4-person bunch, making the tour feel more individualized. I appreciated the ability to do my own thing once we arrived at each destination; I did not feel like I had to stick with the group or do the same activities. If I had been able to do the Seoraksan-only tour, I probably would have. Nami Island felt a little underwhelming after being in a naturally magnificent setting like Seoraksan. Overall, I highly recommend it!
Amazing tour with Kevin! Every was as-advertised and the bus was AC’d and comfortable. My fiancé and I actually got engaged at the mountain on this trip. :)
This trip was absolutely amazing! Hugh was the guide for our trip and he was simply amazing. Such a kind genuine person that just wanted everyone to have fun. 10/10 recommend but I would say go in the summer if at all possible because it was a little chilly in the winter.
Long day but really good tour. Mount Seorak was really good as we went up the cable car and a short hike to a peak where the views were amazing. Hugh was a very good tour guide as well and you could tell he worked very hard to give us all a good experience.
Kelly was a excellent tour guide with a great personality and knowledge of the 2 areas. Her food recommendation in Nami Island was also on point.
Mira was our tour guide for this excursions and she was very helpful! The only thing I could say is that I wished we had more time at Mount Seorak than Nami island. In Mount Seorak there are one 30 mins activity, one 1 hour activity and two 2 hr activities. The amount of time that was given sets you up to do a max of two of those activities listed above. I was able to do 3, just barely cutting it for the time allotted, by speed walking. Nami island was cute!
Seo was a helpful and understanding guide our tour with him is very pleasant. He explain to us about the place and will ask us did we enjoy ourselves. On another tour Alpaca World He was also our tour guide and during the feeding of Alpaca he help us took some photo with my friends and I was surprise he got some good photography skills :)
They did it very well. I really enjoyed in whole trip. Ryan gave us many information in detail and explained everything clearly.
Saw Nami Island at night instead of in the afternoon because we were four hours behind schedule and arrived at Nami Island around dusk. Traffic was horrible because it was Thanksgiving Day for Koreans (Chuseok), so why did this company even provide this day as an option for sightseeing if they knew traffic would be this horrible? It's negligent and false advertising since they could not make it to Nami Island and Mount Seorak on schedule.
