We had such a good time cooking on a rainy day! The class was very approachable and super educational. I learned a lot (beyond the recipes) about the food, the names of the ingredients, tips and tricks, etc. In a world where people often consider taking a souvenir home from experiences, the knowledge and shared event that you leave with is totally priceless and way more permanent!

Great cooking experience...wide variety of food including vegetarian options. The cooking teacher was very friendly and explained instructions well. Highly recommend!
A great couple of hours making some traditional Korean food. Small group and friendly tutor with excellent English. All the ingredients were pre-prepared. There was lots to eat for lunch afterwards or to take away. My only comment to the organisers is that our ingredients were supplied in disposable single use plastic pots which is not so environmentally good. However it was an entertaining and fun morning.
We had a great time and food was good! Only thing was climbing up 7 floors due to elevator nit working
Great experience. Amazing instructive and delicious food.
This cooking experience was outstanding. We’ve been to many classes around the world, but agree that this one was the best ever. The kitchen and workspace was immaculate and very spacious, our instructor was knowledgeable, spoke excellent English. and gave very clear directions. She was helpful, humorous and professional. Everything to be used while cooking was organized, prepped and easily available. It was fun to prepare the meal which was delicious, and more than we could possibly consume. This cooking experience will be hard to beat.
Our instructor Sally and her colleague were very welcoming, kind, open and perfectly organized. The atmosphere within our small group of five participants was cheerful and warm hearted. Strangers got to get fellows in doing, practicing and dining together. Great thanks and any time again. Another time I would love to add an extra hour maybe to learn how to prepare a Korean dessert, as well.
We booked the 10am brunch class and it was an Amazing experience! The class ended up being just us and our instructor Olivia was perfectly helpful and patient. Wide variety of delicious foods
I loved this experience and would recommend to anyone visiting Korea. We learned to cook authentic Korean dishes and our Chef taught us about the history and made it easy to follow along. It was hard to find at first but once we were advised to look up we found it. Really good experience overall especially for a rainy morning in Seoul.
This class exceeded all my expectations. I turned out to be the only attendee for the Sunday morning session, and instead of canceling, they ran it as a private one-on-one lesson — what a treat! Sharon, the instructor, was personable, patient, and explained every step clearly. She's worked in fine dining restaurants, so you're truly learning from a professional. We made an incredible SEVEN courses: Korean-style gimbap (with sesame oil rice instead of vinegar), crispy kimchi pancake, zucchini and meat pancakes, bibimbap, bulgogi (with a great tip on using sugar for caramelizing), japchae, and a dessert of vanilla ice cream with fried rice cake stuffed with sweet red bean. The portions were so generous I got three full meals out of everything we made. More importantly, I left with the skills and confidence to do serious Korean home cooking on my own. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to go beyond restaurant Korean food and actually learn the craft!
This was a top-notch, amazing, and rewarding experience! We learned so much in such a pleasant and professional environment! Sharon was engaging, personable, and an excellent instructor. This event was totally worth the price and we highly, highly recommend it. The only caveat would be to ARRIVE HUNGRY, so that you can enjoy the delicious food that you prepare!
I love Korean food and have tried to cook it myself, but it never turns out right. Take this class to learn the tips and tricks to making your favorite dishes (bulgogi, japchae, pajeon, and kimbap). Such a fun time, and the food was great.
Really lovely experience, got to cook a wide range of vegetarian versions of traditional Korean dishes
Fantastic class with Sally, the best cooking class any of us (party of 6) have done. Clear step by step guidance, all ingredients prepped, friendly hosts and lovely stories. Delicious food, simple recipes and lots of goodies to take home!
Fun afternoon taking a Korean cooking class at Seoul Cooking Club! Seven courses in 2.5 hours. Family style meal with group at the end, with takeout boxes to take leftovers home, too. Delicious dessert made by our chef/teacher, Sharon. Class catered to dietary needs, ingredients were prepped, and dishes, tools, and techniques explained with great care. A tote bag and cookbook were included, too. Highly recommend if you find yourself in Seoul! ♥️🇰🇷👩🍳
Our family of 6 (including youngest child of 9) did this group cooking class with our wonderful instructor Olivia on our last night in Seoul. Hands down, best experience in Korea for every family member. Well organized and executed. Thank you.
Had a great time on this cooking class, Sally was our instructor and gave us great information on Korean ingredients and cooking. Definitely recommended.
One of the cooking classes I have attended amongst various countries and cities. Excellent set up and selection. We had with us 2 boys - ages 14 and 8 and my mom who is 72 years. We all had a wonderful time. Highly recommended.
Sally was a great host and instructor. Clear and helpful instructions with a lot of background. The prep work had been done, so we could enjoy the experience of combining the ingredients and cooking and eating.
We took this class on the first day we arrived and were not disappointed! We learned how to cook delicious Korean food including sushi, boolgogi, chap chae, and kimchee pancakes. It was a fun family bonding experience with a delicious lunch! Would highly recommend!
We had a great morning at Seoul Cooking Club learning to make some amazing Korean food. Sally was a fabulous instructor, who guided us all how to make a variety of dishes. I’d highly recommend this cooking class.
Great class, went for veggie alternative , cooked alot of dishes, so come on a empty stomach, provided take away boxes too
Very easy to follow the instructor. Everything was laid out already. I was shocked by how much food we were able to prepare in 2 hours.
What an experience ! Sharon was so knowledgeable and patient . We were taught how to make an array of korean dishes in a lovely relaxed atmosphere . There was far too much food to eat so go along hungry! The directions to get there were easy and precise .A fantastic way to start our korean experience . Thank you to Sharon and the team !
Olivia was amazing. This is one of my favorite things I did in Seoul. We made 7 different dishes and had so much food leftover it was my lunch and dinner! Some of the best food I had on my trip as well. The school is so organized and clean. I would absolutely go back and 10/10 recommend.
Absolutely great cooking class. I’ve done cooking classes in Tokyo, Singapore, and Paris and this was by far my favorite. It was so efficient. All the ingredients are pre organized. Each person makes their own dishes so it is very hands on for everyone. We made SO many dishes in a short amount of time — and it was a great variety of food. Sally was an amazing instructor— fun, friendly and supportive. When we arrived we were immediately served some yummy iced tea. Then we were quickly shown to our cooking stations. We also had a bottle of water waiting for us there. We started off making some kimchi pancakes and ate those fresh out of the pan. Then we made a variety of other foods. Once done with all the cooking, we sat down to eat all of our food — which was more than we could possibly finish. They had to-go containers if you wanted to take the rest with you. They gave everyone a booklet with the recipes and a little tote bag — which we used to carry home our leftovers. If you have any interest in food this is a fun way to explore what goes into Korean cooking.
Great experience. Went with my niece. Only two of us in evening class and still ran. Easy to find. Ingredients prepped so managed to get shown 7 dishes. Lots of background on dishes and useful tips. Olivia who was our chef for the day spoke fluent English and didn’t struggle with our Scottish accents. So friendly. A great relaxing experience and lovely meal at end and lots to take home to hotel fridge. Highly recommend.
Really nice experience! Olivia guided us through the steps of making Korean dishes, which were really delicious! Definitely would recommend taking this class.
We had a wonderful cooking session with Olivia. She taught us lots of new cooking skills and the food was outstanding. We would really recommend this experience while in Korea.
We were taught to cook 7 dishes in total. Our teacher was incredibly friendly and did a great job explaining everything. She was great at monitoring our progress and giving tips. They were also very accommodating for dietary restrictions. The location was convenient and the kitchen was very nice.
Excellent class! Sally was a wonderful instructor—- clear and kind instruction throughout the class. Well-paced and very well organized. Did a lot in a short amount of time. Highly recommend!
This is a great way to learn how to prepare certain foods basic to Korean cuisine like kimbab and bibimbap. Your food preparation station is carefully set up beforehand with the proper utensils and certain ingredients you will need in the course of the class. As you need them, other ingredients are provided by the staff. It is a concise, easy way to cook Korean food, and a cookbook is also provided for reference later.
The course was well-organized, fun, and comfortable. The food was delicious! Everyone I invited to this class enjoyed the whole process.
Good experience to know the famous Korean dishes. I have loved it! Thanks to Cooking Seoul Club. Warm atmosphere. Perfect organisation
This is my second time to the cooking class! Always a great experience. Instructors are so pleasant.
Olivia was our instructor and she is so lovely, knowledgable and welcoming. We learn how to make few traditional Korean dishes and they turned out very tasty. It was a great experience!
My husband and I loved learning to cook with Sharon! The food was delicious and I feel will be easy to replicate at home. It’s amazing how much food we were able to prepare in 2 hours! They give you containers to bring leftovers home. This was a fantastic way to spend a morning in Seoul!
Was interesting and varied in the foods they had us prepare. They accommodated my vegetarian son! Highly recommended.
A wonderful experience! Sharon and her team explained, demonstrated, then assisted us on cooking a number of delicious Korean dishes. She added interesting cultural and historical facts too. No cooking experience was necessary as she helped those that needed it. I appreciated the ingredients were initially prepped and ready so we could focus on mixing, marinating and cooking. Thank you Sharon and team for an enjoyable experience!
My partner and I had a one day layover in Soeul and were looking for a cooking class that wouldn’t eat up too much time. We booked the class based on the unanimous five-star reviews and it turned out to be the highlight of our trip! The class is expertly designed to facilitate the preparation of seven Korean dishes in less than 2.5 hours. The ingredients for each dish are prepped, measured, and segregated to allow the participants to focus on cooking and presentation. We tasted each dish as it was prepared and sat down afterward to enjoy the meal as a class. The food was incredible and one of the best things we ate in Seoul! Chef Olivia was an absolute delight and an excellent instructor. We would highly recommend this class to anyone visiting Seoul—you will not regret it!
We had an absolutely great time, learning new cooking techniques and making new friends. Olivia, the head Chef is amazing!
Very professional kitchen and excellent tutor whose English was perfect. Everything was superbly prepared for our group - there were 7 people from different backgrounds. We all had a work station with all of the ingredients needed and we were taught to make 7 dishes which we then ate! Also got a cookbook with all of the recipes in it to take away. I would highly recommend this as an introduction to Korean cooking and culture.
A quick but thorough introduction into Korean basics. You’ll take home recipes that’s easily repeatable. Great instructors, small class, and good location. A must do.
This was one of the best parts of our trip to Korea. Being vegetarian and gluten free, it was hard getting to try all the authentic Korea food in the streets. The lovely crew were super lovely and accommodating to my dietary needs and I was able to make all 7 dishes no issue. Super grateful for their hospitality <3
We made lots of food. Sally did a great job explaining how to make everything. The cookbook we got at the end was really easy to follow.
The host and assistant were as much fun as was the cooking. And fun! We made several dishes, during which time the group received easily-to-follow instructions, we were also given a lesson in Korean culture as relates to family and food traditions. When we come back, we’ll attend again.
Amazing time!! Olivia is awesome! Delicious food! It’s a must when you come to Korea. We had the best time! Super easy instructions to follow.
This was a great experience. Sally was amazing and very helpful! Something new and interesting to do, which I appreciate! 10/10
Excellent couple of hours learning about Korean food, making some tasty dishes and enjoying the food. Very informative, good fun; take-away recipes so lots to try when we get home. Highly recommend.
This was a wonderful activity. Booked as a small group, but it turned out. It was just me and my sister, which was lovely Sharon, our chef, was exceptional. The recipes were so fun to make and delicious. We even got a recipe book to take home. Great activity while you are in Seoul.
