This tour was great - the guide was very knowledgeable about Korean food, culture, and history. He made our experience visiting Gwangjang market really memorable. The places we ate at were delicious and traditional. Our guide spoke great English and was very easy to speak with and relate to!

Come with an empty stomach because you will get filled up! Going to Gwangjang Market with a local helps to narrow the overwhelming options of what to order. Tae Seong has excellently chosen the best introduction to Korean street food. You’ll get snacks and desserts that are steamed, fried, griddled, sauced, wrapped, and all delicious. He also shares some insights into Korean life and culture. We were lucky to have a personal tour as the others in our group cancelled. 맛있게 드세요 (enjoy your meal!)

Had a great time. We were very well fed from the beginning of the tour. We couldn’t eat all the food we were given! Taeseong was knowledgeable and taught us some Korean drinking games.

Our host taesong was awesome! We went to seven different food stalls and tried so many things! He knew which vendors had the best version of each thing and got us into a couple of the popular vendors before the lines got long. We had a great time! Highly recommend!

We had a great time! Our host Taeseong was welcoming, knowledgeable and accommodating. He answered any questions we had and provided historical context for the foods we were eating. We went to seven different stalls and tied about 10 different foods, I lost count! Highly recommend!

We did the gastronomic tour and it was very enriching! The gastronomic tour, which was carried out with excellence and a lot of relaxation, turned into a tour with a lot of history of the country and personal stories! Highly recommended!!

Taeseong was a fantastic guide around the market. He was able to explain how each street food was made and the ingredients. Tarseong was very easy to talk to and he also explained and shared living in Seoul. The food was amazing and a large variety was shared. Would highly recommend.

Taeseong was so friendly and helpful. We were the only group on the food tour today and we really enjoyed spending time in the market with Taeseong. We learned lots of interesting things about Korea and tasted some delicious foods at places we probably wouldn’t know to try. Taeseong was also very patient with our 8 and 5 year old kids. All in all, a great afternoon and would definitely recommend!!

Taeseong was a fantastic and informative guide. He took me to all of the best places in the market and showed me a few extra things that I asked about. Most of all I appreciate that he didn’t cancel the tour even though I was the only one to sign up for this date. 100% a classy guy!

On our first visit to South Korea this was an excellent introduction to Korean street food. Taeseong was a knowledgable and very personable guide not only to Korean food but more broadly to Korean life and culture. The two hour tour explored the Gwangjang market stalls but we were glad that we could sit down in a couple of the restaurants (my wife & I are in our 70s). We sampled at least a dozen types of food and even went away with our final dessert in a bag as we were too full to eat it! We were especialy grateful that Taeseong ran the tour for just 4 people (we were joined by a couple from Chicago), With less than a day's notice another foodie tour we'd booked on was cancelled because of "not meeting the minimum participant requirement". Taeseong's tour for just 4 of us was delightful!

This was an excellent tour, with a genuinely interesting guide who took the time to answer all my questions about Korean culture, history and education as well. The tastes were amazing!

An unforgettable food tour with an engaging tour guide, I learned a lot of things about Korean food and history! The guide gave us many recommendations for things to try out in Seoul (food, coffee brands, karaoke, photo booth), I loved the food selection and there was always a non-spicy version if you are worried about about that! I could taste both savoury food and sweets/desserts so I really appreciated the dumplings and the hotteok (sweet dessert) I highly recommend it! Overall, lots of hidden gems, and a full stomach—a must for any food lover!

We never would have known where to start at this fascinating market without the fantastic guidance of Taesong. He made great arrangements at the very best locations. Best to go hungry. It was a lot of food. And to top it off he very patiently helped us locate the correct metro and transfer instructions.

Great tour introducing us to street foods and a traditional market. We tried foods we probably wouldn’t have tried on our own not knowing what they were. Guide very friendly and good natured giving us great view of the culture and society

My tour with Taeseong was very fun and exciting. We tried over 9 items within the market. Every dish was delicious! He was also very knowledgeable of the origins of dishes on how they came to be. Some of the facts that he was pointing out was an eye opener for me. I definitely love how this mainly caters to small groups or solo travelers as it helps to create more genuine talk between the tour guide and guests. It was nice to have open talks with Taeseong. Definitely a trip worth booking!

The tour was a very good experience, we visited a lot of places in the market and learned a lot about both food and culture in South Korea. The guide was very friendly and informative and we had a wonderful time! Would highly recommend this tour for a good overview, it was helpful to do this early on in our trip as it meant we had the confidence to go and try these foods in other places too.

It was a great experience, we had much fun with my friend and the guide was really friendly and explained very well the market. We got to try many dishes that were tasty and I was full at the end of the tour haha... I recommend this experience for anyone who is travelling to Seoul, the activity is qualitative.

The Korean food tour was amazing! From spicy tteokbokki (which in my opinion is very spicy^) to sweet hotteok, every dish was delicious and the guide’s insights made it even better. Perfect intro to Korean cuisine!

Amazing experience. The tour guide was super nice and friendly. I dont eat meat so it was nice to learn about vegan/vegetarian traditional korean food. Also tried some desserts!
