We will visit Seoraksan National Park and Shinheungsa Temple inside of Seoraksan National Park. You can hike or get on the cable car. (Cable Car Fee not included) During Fall Foliage Season, we will visit "Jujeongol Valley" for hiking, not "Cable Car course".
Railway Bridge that crosses the Bukhan River. This is a round-trip course that starts from Gapyeong Station, stops at Gyeonggang Station, and returns to Gapyeong Station.
We will visit Nami Island.
I really enjoyed my tour with Patrick. He was very well organized and got us to our destinations on time. He also provided useful information throughout the day in a very cheerful way.
Patrick was an excellent tour guide! Had heaps of fun facts and recommendations before each location. The day had a great diversity of 3 activities/locatione which I wouldn't have seen myself if not part of the tour. I just wish we could've had longer at each place, which is impossible for a 12 hour tour.
The tour guide, Patrick, was great. Very informative, helpful and friendly. The tour was organized well however we were disappointed in the amount of time spent at Mt. Seorak. It was a tiny portion of the day (only a little over an hour instead of the 2.5 scheduled) and we spent the rest of the day at highly commercialized Nami Island and driving. The tour was meant to stop at Shinheungsa Temple but since we went to a new location for the fall foliage we didn’t see it. It was not made clear on the itinerary that this would not be included. We didn’t do enough research on what Nami Island is - I encourage you to research and understand it to be sure it’s right for you before choosing this tour.
I had a wonderful experience on the Mount Seorak and Nami Island day trip! Everything was excellent, from the booking process to the end of the tour. The information on TripAdvisor was very clear, detailed, and accurate, especially the meeting location and instructions. The guides arrived right on time at 6:00 a.m., and everything was professionally organized from the beginning. A special thank-you to our tour guide, Sean (Sungsoo), who was truly exceptional! His English was fluent, his instructions were always clear, and he was incredibly friendly, patient, and genuinely kind to everyone. He made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying the trip. Honestly, he is one of the best tour guides I have ever met! The itinerary was very well planned. We were taken to the best spots at Mount Seorak to enjoy its beautiful scenery. The restaurant was also a great choice, and the food was delicious. I especially appreciated that there was absolutely no pressure to shop or buy anything. Sean kept us informed throughout the day about the schedule and expected return time, and everything went exactly as planned. It wasn’t just me who enjoyed the trip. Everyone in our group seemed happy and well taken care of. The entire experience was smooth, comfortable, and thoroughly enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Korea. Ki was kind and friendly, also was very accommodating. This will be a great taste run for 설악산 하이킹, 남이섬, and 고요수목원 if you aren’t sure what to choose or where to go. It will give you a brief but overall experiences for each attraction. Overall, it was a long but great trip (ensure to take a nap on the bus during transition from and to).

Ki was a great tour guide. He is very helpful and made the trip seamless. I enjoyed the hiking and the morning calm garden the most. Ki was very accommodating, kind, and kept the tour fun.
The tour was well-paced, and the selection of sights was excellent. Our guide, Shawn, was kind and punctual. However, I have concerns about the safety of the driving. He was often using his phone while driving, proceeded through multiple red lights, and repeatedly weaved through traffic. This unprofessionalism detracted from the overall experience.
It’s a full day tour and glad we got an early start at 6 am from Seoul. We got to Seorak San around 8:30 beating the crowds. The hike in that mountain along the canyon and river with autumn foliage was the highlight of the tour. Nami Island was second stop and very crowded. The island although lined with nice trees seemed artificial to me. The Morning Calm Garden was very peaceful and enjoyable. Quite a contrast from Nami. Ki, our guide did a great job leading a large group. His anecdotes about Seoul and culture were amusing. I would book again with him and this company.

The autumn scenery along the way was breathtaking, especially the beautiful golden maple leaves and ginkgo trees. The vibrant autumn colors created such a romantic and picturesque atmosphere. Amazing Patrick If you are in Seoul and want to do a trip outside the city inside the nature, but also enjoying good food, this is the tour for you. Fabulous spots: mountain, tracking, island and garden and a amazing lunch. Patrik, the tour guide, is well prepared, professional, speak a very good English and he is very supportive. After spending a wonderful afternoon wandering through the beautiful landscapes of Nami Island, we finished the day at the Garden of Morning Calm, which was the perfect, peaceful finale to an incredible journey. Shaun was highly organized, energetic, and kept us engaged with fantastic insights throughout the day while ensuring everyone was safe and comfortable. I couldn't have asked for a better experience or a better guide!
It is a long day, but it does give you so much of the area. Just be well rested and prepared for long drives.

Our excursion to Mt. Seorak was delightful. The rock formations were magnificent, and the ascent provided a pleasant trek, culminating in a breathtaking panorama. Nami Island proved entertaining, noteworthy for its status as a microstate. The Korean Garden featured an array of unfamiliar flora. This experience is highly recommended. Our driver, SB, significantly enhanced the overall journey.
Patrick and his team were wonderful. Even before the trip, he checked in to make sure we knew how to get to the meeting location. Then, throughout the day, they gave us great information and instructions on the sites and schedule. We can’t thank them enough for making this excursion memorable, from the hiking, to the ferry, and the rail bikes…what a day of beautiful sites and fun adventures!
