A wonderful tour with a kind, patient and knowledgeable guide

Me and my wife an elderly couple from India booked our tour of Seoul and Busan with Korea tour Company directly as a private tour with a driver cum english speaking guide. We had a wonderful and relaxed tour and the drivers were punctual and very frienly. Overall it was a very pleasant trip and we would strongly recommend Korea Tour Company.

We contacted the Korea Tour Company about setting an itinerary for our one day stay in Seoul South Korea. They provided us a quote at a very reasonable price and an agreed upon itinerary. Mr. Ju Gwang-hun picked us up at the cruise terminal and took us first to Gyeongbokgung Palace. We had water and snacks available to us for the 90 minute car ride. We spent sometime exploring the grounds and buildings. It was raining on and off throughout the day and the guide provided us with umbrellas to use. Next we visited the memorial park where the kings of Korea's ashes are stored. We then toured the local market and enjoyed a good Korean lunch at a small luncheon counter in the market. We all shared a platter of various delicacies. After lunch we went to the Namsan Seoul Tower. Here we took a cable car up to the tower where you get a nice view of the city. The weather was getting worse so we cut this stay a little short and headed back to the car. We were then dropped off at our hotel to complete the tour. Our guide was very friendly and gave us a lot of information about the places we visited and answered our questions about a variety of topics, sharing personal stories to help us get a better understanding of Korean culture. I would highly recommend the Korea Tour Company and Mr. Ju Gwang-hun to travelers visiting Seoul!

My family and I visited South Korea for my mom’s 70th birthday. I booked a private tour for two days with Korea Tour Company. It was easy and seamless from the booking process until the day of the tour. We had Mr. Choi as our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable, punctual, patient and simply the absolute best!!! If I were you, try to request him as your tour guide. Even my four year old nephew keeps asking if Mr. Choi will join us on our next couple of days in Seoul and while we were in Jeju, he was just great! We had a full day exploring Seoul and another day visiting the DMZ. The company and Mr. Choi helped us create an itinerary that we wanted. I highly recommend booking a trip with Korea Tour Company. Thank you Mr. Jang who assisted me with the booking process and most especially to Mr. Choi for making our short stay in Seoul a very memorable one!!!

We had an amazing experience thanks to The Korea Tour Company. The planning process prior was really easy with great communication from the operator. We had a party of 8, which can be a lot, but the guides and drivers did a fantastic job of making sure everyone was engaged and enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended.

Mr Ahn Ji-Hoon was the perfect host for our 4 days Seoul tour. He is very knowledgeable and super friendly and helped us navigate Seoul with ease.

I must say that it was a smooth and stress free trip for my mum and I. We had a great time with Mr Choi - our guide. He is knowledageable, friendly and accommodating. There was no rush. And we did not any identification with us but he tried his best - and to get the free entrance for my mum who is 86 years old. And he DID it. At the ski resort, he managed to talk to one of the staff to let us in into the skiing area - (we were actually not allowed in as we did not pay the entrance fees) to play with snow! It was truly an amzaing awesome trip for us. And to staff whom i have been communicating with - Albert and Grey Jang - both did a fantastic job - communication and response was fast and information very precise. Thank you. Highly recommended. if there is a 6 star - i would award.

We had an outstanding experience with our tour guide, Kori. He was incredibly patient with our group of seven and shared so much insightful knowledge, not only about Korea’s history, but even photography tips, which our Instagram-loving group really appreciated. He always drove safely, and the van was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. Kori is caring, kind, and truly attentive. He left us with such a positive impression of how warm and welcoming Koreans are. We felt taken care of from start to finish. We also want to thank our driver on the last day (11/15/2025)who brought us to Incheon Airport. Even though he didn’t speak much English, his kindness and warm smile made us feel calm and at ease. Overall, the service was exceptional and made our trip even more memorable. Highly recommended!

If you want a true VIP experience, hire this guy! Always punctual, extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and fluent in English. He goes the extra mile without being asked and always with a smile. The taxi was luxurious and well-equipped, stocked with cold water on hot days, umbrellas for both sun and rain, and even sunscreen when we forgot ours. Highly recommended, you absolutely won’t regret it! He greeted us well-prepared and had even researched our home country beforehand. I’ve never felt so welcomed in any foreign country. Travel in comfort, style, and learn a lot along the way! I honestly cannot give him enough stars to reflect the quality of his service!

Our first two days are already behind us. This guide-driver gave us a true VIP experience. He immediately took my mobility limitation into account. Always provided water, and the taxi was always very clean. He gave us excellent explanations about everything. He showed us right away where the best spot was to stand, for example during the changing of the guard. He also pointed out the best places to eat. In short, a very good experience with Korry. We would definitely request him again if we ever return to South Korea.

We traveled for 6 days with Kori in a tour from Seoul to Yeosu. KORI is a very professional guide, kind, considering and knowledgeable. We had a good and interesting time with him.

Guide An Zhi Xun is amazing! He introduced us to nice local cafes and delicacies while on the tour. He was also very patient in explaining the relevant history to us onsite. This tour is highly recommended :)

I did the full day Seoul private guided tour with Mr. Kimsoo! This was an unforgettable experience and highly recommended to start your trip in korea. My flight got delayed in 3h, leaving me with only 3-4 hours to visit Seoul. Ahn Ji-hoon’s experience made a huge difference. He adapted the tour to allow me to have a great feel of the city with the time I had. He knew exactly where to go to avoid traffic, where to park, and at the end of these hours I had almost 200 pictures of everything I saw!!! He is very kind, knowledgeable and great in sharing his perception about this beautiful country. I feel blessed to have found such a great guide. I’m more of an independent explorer, but I’m glad I hired him to spend the day with me. I would send all my friends and family to tour Seoul with him.

Sori Kim was amazing! When the tour got flooded out for the DMZ, she took us to some amazing places to see like the palace, the food market, some very old sections of town with 600-year-old homes, a great shopping center, and then an athletic Korean tea ceremony.

We enjoyed our tour very much. Our guide made sure that we saw everything we wished to see and was flexible with the schedule. We would definitely recommend this tour. It is not inexpensive but is worth the price if you are looking for a custom and comfortable experience.

We hires Korea Tour Company to give us a 1 day tour of Seoul's highlights. Our guide was Andy. He was a terrific guide. He was very knowledgeable and very caring. He took us to a terrific place for lunch to eat Korean ginseng chicken. He is truly a local expert and made our day truly memorable.

My son and I (7) booked this tour to get around the city as much as possible in the short amount of time we were there. The city was amazing and the tour hit just about every aspect we were looking for. We went to the palace and did a little shopping and street foods. I did like the tour but at times I felt that the tour guide was a little "judgy" or biased in his own opinions. He had made a comment about wanting to pursue my career instead of be with my boyfriend who worked in another country. After he described the roles of male and female at the palace and the different sleeping houses he stated "the only reason I opened the door for you today was because you had your son with you, I do not open the door for women." It was just a little off putting. I understand that diversity and culture plays a large aspect, but I just do not think that they should express these to customers. I wanted to reply to him with, "isn't it funny a single woman paying you to provide this service." Instead I understood that we are all different and let it go.

I booked a private DMZ tour for 7 pax with Korea Tour Company in June. One of my colleague dropped out and another one decided to drive to the destination to meet us there. Without informing me in advance, the Korea Tour Company came to fetch us in a small car that can only fit 5 person, even though I had paid for a car for 7 pax. The tour guide also asked my colleague who arrived earlier at the DMZ center to queue up at the ticket counter while we were still on the road. This is seriously unacceptable and ridiculous. We wasted at least 1.5 hours at the center because of the queue as the company did not purchase the tickets in advance for us. The tour guide also did not care to explain much about the sites (I was observing other tour guides on site) but rushed through everything. They also included in our itinerary a "tourist shopping stop" which was not originally in my itinerary. At the end we got so bored, we decided to abandon the tour and end it by 1 2.30 PM.

We were a group of 9 Americans who had just completed a mission trip in Cambodia. We had a 12 hour layover in Seoul on our way home so we booked a day tour with Korea Tour Company. It was amazing. We were so pleased. Our guide was Sori. She knew just where to take us to be at the best advantage for photos or to be ahead of the crowds. We totally enjoyed the day and were so pleased. The protection and organization of the trip was excellent. The guide Kory was excellent with extensive knowledge and very kind.

It is our first time to Seoul, it wouldn't have been this great and hassle free if it's without our tour guide, Mr Kory. I strongly recommend Mr Kory because of his professionalism, and always going extra miles for us. He did his best to accommodate to our request. Eg. At Gyeongbokgung Palace, he ran to the first in queue, so that we can take the photo with the guard without waiting. He also helped us to queue for lunch, while allowing us to shop around at Insadong. I will definitely recommend Mr Kory to my family and friends, and will definitely look for him again when I visit Seoul again. Thank you Korea Tour Company for assigning Mr Kory to be our tour guide! :)

If I could give more than 5 Stars I would!!! We decided to take a quick trip to Seoul and I found the Korea Tour Company and arranged for a day Tour of the highlights of Seoul. We really got so lucky to have Kory as our guide. He was so friendly from the very first second and we all became quick friends. We visited the Palace first and Kory (who is extremely knowledgeable) told us all about the history of the Palace and other information in great detail. As we visited more locations like the Blue House and a scenic over watch of Seoul we all became so involved with Kory's knowledge and his professional yet very friendly demeanor. The Van he picked us up in was very nice, he had water for us and was constantly making sure we had everything we need. He also took very good care of my Mother-in-law. Ensuring she got in and out of the van with no problems etc. We also found out that Kory is an expert photographer and he took great shots of us during the visits to the sites. And the final wow moment was.... He wanted to take us to a great Chicken soup restaurant. We arrived and there was a line of at least 40 people. He told us to wait in line, went inside and within 5 minutes we were seated right away!!! He knows people so we were treated as VIP guests. And the food was outstanding!!! I have already recommended 8 people to use this company and to ask for Kory!!

Antonio was a wonderful tour guide. He fit the tour to our destinations . He took photos for us. He stopped to get pancakes when we were hungry. He told us the history on the places we visited. It was a great day in Seoul!

Andy our tour guide was awesome. He cartered to our needs. One of the palaces was clsoed to he took us to anotjer one. He also took us shopping for skin products and steered us away from unnecessary expensive products. I would ask for Andy if you do this as he is fun. He even went out of his way to help us get soccer tickets, made sure we got thete the next day. We even had some other issues in days after and he was very helpful. Again, Andy made this tour worthwhile.

Our tour guide Sori did such an amazing job! We did enjoy every moment of the tour! She was knowledgable, attentive, and patient! We felt lucky to have her as our tour guide! If you are not sure where to go and want to learn about the history of Seoul, I highly recommend this tour!

Andy was incredible! He took me to see as many things as he possibly could with my short layover time, and made sure I was on time to my Kpop dance class!! He taught me so much about Korea and I will definitely be using him again when I come back!
