I booked this tour on behalf of my business partner and his wife, who were visiting Korea from the Middle East. I was a little concerned beforehand, especially about finding suitable meals for them, but our guide Danny Yu took care of everything. Danny was very attentive to their dietary needs and made sure every meal was something they could enjoy with peace of mind. He was friendly, professional, and genuinely made them feel welcome. The day happened to have heavy traffic, but Danny planned ahead and suggested an alternative schedule so we wouldn’t waste time on the road. His driving was smooth and comfortable throughout, which made the whole day relaxing. My guests told me they were extremely satisfied with the tour and especially with Danny’s care and flexibility. Itinerary
At around 7 to 7:30am, you will be picked up at your hotel by your experienced and friendly tour guide. You will head to Gapyeong, which takes about 1.5 hours by car. Your first stop will be Petite France, which is a popular French-themed village that was the filming site 'My Love from the Star,' 'Secret Garden,' and 'Running Man,' to name a few. Spend about 30 or 40 minutes 6,000~8,000KRW perperson(Agency discount)
exploring the village before heading to Nami Island. Nami Island is where the famous drama 'Winter Sonata' was filmed. Nami Island is known for its beautiful snow scenery and tree-lined streets. Walk along the Pine tree lane, Ginko tree lane and Metasequiar Lane. You will have about 1.5 hours to explore Nami Island. Enjoy delicious Korean cuisine lunch. After delicious local lunch, head to Elysian Ski Resort to take a ski lesson. If you are not one for adventure, you can also opt to just enjoy playing in the snow at the resort. This tour doesn't include any compulsory shopping but complimentary wifi. At around 4:30pm, we will depart for Seoul and arrive at around 6pm. We had an amazing time exploring Nami Island and the surrounding area with our guide Taylor. Although the weather was hot in August, we took our time and were able to stay cool. We were out at 8am and returned to the hotel by 6pm. We went to the Morning Garden as well and it was so beautiful and nice to walk through. We really enjoyed our time. There weren’t many crowds so we were able to get a relatively personal experience.
We had an amazing day visiting Nami Island and the Garden of Morning Calm with the best guide ever, Jake! We were picked up from hotel on time, then 2 hour drive to the garden. There we walked around at our own pace for almost 2 hours taking in all the beautiful scenery. Then we had 45 minute drive to Nami Islamd area. Before heading to the island we stopped for lunch, having traditional Korean grilled chicken and rice. Or you can head to the island (only 5 minute ferry ride) and eat other options. More variety on the island. Nami is very cool place. You can enjoy biking the island, doing water sports, or stroll at own pace and take it all in! This was a great tour. Request Jake if possible, he really is the best guide in South Korea!
I did this tour with my two teenage sons, and I have to admit that when we arrived at the ferry line to reach the island, I thought it might be a disappointing experience. Most of the people waiting seemed to be elderly visitors or groups of women, and I wasn’t sure it would be a good fit for us. However, the moment we arrived on the island, we were completely charmed. The scenery is absolutely beautiful, and everything is incredibly clean, well-maintained, and organized. The natural surroundings are stunning, and there are countless perfect spots for photos. We rented bicycles, which turned out to be the best way to explore all the highlights of Nami Island. After leaving the island, our driver took us to a traditional Korean restaurant where we enjoyed a delicious lunch. To top off the day, we rode a cable car up a beautiful mountain. At the top, there was a lovely café offering a variety of delicious drinks and desserts. It was a wonderful day from start to finish. I highly recommend this tour. 10/10!
It was day to remember!!! Our tour guide, Mrs Song, made our trip exceptional from the very begining! As we decided to visit Alpaca World together with Railbike Ride and Garden of Morning Calm, we spent a lots of time on the road. I can't decide what was better: things we managed to see in only one day (wonderful animals at Alpaca World, beautiful nature during our Railbike ride, absolutely amazing Garden of Morning Calm), or time spent on the road, with our guide not only driving perfectly, but also talking about Korean culture, history... we got explanations about literally everything we needed to know. And then - lunch... well, we are all foodies, but presentation of the food, explanation what we eat and how to eat, quality of food.. This was our third day in Seoul and we already realised that there is no better food place in the world, but this lunch was another dimension!!! Of course, atmosfere was great, we were talking, laughing, joking, like we know each other whole life!!! At the end of the tour we hugged our guide (hope we didn't cross the line) - smile is still on our faces as a result of perfect day!
Our tour guide for the day was Song! Wow, wow, wow. What an amazing person. So warm, friendly and knowledgeable. I was on the trip with my family, and my girls were almost in tears when we parted ways with Song. We could take the tour at our own pace, and she was flexible to make changes as we saw fit. An additional bonus is that she is an amazing photographer too. Will be blessed to ever have her again. Thank you Song for making our first day is Seoul a wonderful experience.

Today’s customized tour was super fun because of Danny, our driver, a professional guide & an accommodating photographer who brought to Petite France and more importantly, gave us a complete tour of Nami Island, taking us photos which made our trip amazing & memorable! He did a very good job & gave the extra mile service. His Staria is also clean & tidy which offered us extra comfort & convenience.
Ayaan Moon was my guide. He provided great insight into each of the sites. His language skills are strong. The Garden of Morning Calm is a must see. The greenery is extraordinary.
It was nice to see other parts of Korea by getting out of Seoul for the day. Harry picked us up and we were on our way... We had a full day planned with Nami Island, the Rail Park, Sky Walk and Garden of Morning Calm (might be forgetting something). Harry was tireless, even though he had been to these places many times.
We had an amazing time on our tour with Wookie! He was super punctual, meeting us at the hotel lobby ahead of schedule. The transportation was top-notch - spacious and ridiculously comfortable. Wookie's English was flawless, and his historical insights brought the places we visited to life. He even snapped some awesome pics of us along the way. We were picked up from our hotel at 8:40am and did the Nami Island, Rail Bike ride and Garden of Morning Calm. We had lunch too. We got back to our hotel around 6:30pm. The private tour allowed us to structure our day with more flexibility and comfort. The things to see and do in this tour were memorable! Our tour guide, Harry, was amazing, knowledgeable, neat, funny, prompt, and very helpful. He took great photos too. We highly recommend this tour!
Oliver was a friendly guide who spoke English well. Never felt rushed with him. The vehicle was spacious and comfortable. My advice would be to plan what you want before going on the trip and not wait until the day to decide. Didn’t think Nami is worth spending too much time there as there are nicer places surrounding the area.

Nami is a beautiful island full of tourist attractions, views, galleries, coffee houses, sea and walking allies. Guide advised us to get up early.He took us to Jade garden which is not as big compared to Garden of Morning Calm that we went to yesterday.But it's beautiful and different.There is a remarkable natural balance.We can drink coffee with admiring nature Let time pass slowly After that, let's exercise It's cycling on rail. It takes about 1 hr at Gangchon Rail Bike.When it over, we were able to eat local food along the railroad tracks. We also visited Petite france and spent a lot of time wandering around.
I wish I could give Sophia 10 stars! She was a fantastic guide and really made our experience incredibly enjoyable. She was very patient and understanding with our little boy. We highly recommend her and would love to tour with her again!
We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The highlight of our experience was the Rail Park in a rural part of Korea and the lunch at Jomoorak, known for its grilled chicken. Our guide, Sophia, was communicative and knowledgeable. She arrived early to pick us up and safely returned us to our hotel. If you’re looking to venture out of Seoul for the day, I’d recommend booking this excursion.
For our private tour we chose Nami Island, Railbike and Garden of the Morning Calm. Thanks to our Guide Sophia the trip was beyond our expectations. Sophia is super nice and very knowledgeable, thanks to her we really enjoyed the tour and had so much fun. Also Sophia was very attentive to our preferences and especially to the allergy restrictions, so we managed to have a safe and tasty meal. We strongly recommend all the three places to visit as they all have unique and insanely beautiful nature that you can enjoy even in extreme heat as there’s o lot of shaded area and cafes and shops with the a/c.
We are so happy with our decision to use Here Korea Travel for our private one day tour. We discussed ahead where to go and we were well informed in terms of timings and how many locations we can fit in the day. We decided to go to Nami Island, Alpaca World and Petite France. Vincent is our tour guide and speaks excellent English. Things are well explained and he always gave us good suggestions about what to do, for how long and where to take good photos. He recommended that we tried Dalgalbi for lunch and we all loved it very much. One of the most important things we must mention is that he drives very safely. This is what I value the most when travelling with small kids. We highly recommend Vincent and will definitely go with Here Korea Travel again.

Had a wonderful time with the family with the help of our tour guide, Mr. Denise Park. He was on time to meet us at the lobby and brought us first to Petit France then Nami Island, lunch in the chicken place, rail biking , strawberry picking and garden of morning calm. It was a very leisure trip, no rushing and we were able to accomplish everything. Our guide was very patient and helpful in taking our picture and even in helping us choose the right strawberry.
The Garden of Calm is very beautiful. Rail Park excursion is simple and dispensable. The driver and guide Juan is fantastic. Friendly, helpful, professional, a 10 out of 10!
