I cannot recommend Soo enough! He is not only an incredibly knowledgeable and professional tour guide, but also a genuinely kind and wonderful person with a great personality. What makes Soo truly special is the way he looks after you throughout the entire journey. He pays attention to even the smallest details, makes sure you are comfortable, and genuinely cares about your experience. He doesn’t just take you from one place to another; he makes sure you enjoy every moment and feel well taken care of. It’s these little things that make such a big difference and turn a good tour into a memorable experience. Soo is someone who clearly loves what he does, and it shows in his knowledge, patience, kindness, and dedication. You feel like you are exploring South Korea with a good friend rather than just a tour guide. I would wholeheartedly recommend Soo and his company to anyone planning to visit South Korea. For me, there is no need to look anywhere else. Every time I visit South Korea, Soo and Hun will always be my go to people, whether it’s for booking tours, planning my trips, or simply getting information and advice about the country. It’s rare to come across people who are not only excellent at their jobs but are also genuinely good human beings. Soo and Hun are exactly those kinds of people. Thank you, Soo, for your kindness, care, and for making my experience in South Korea so special. You have definitely earned my trust, and I look forward to seeing you again on my future visits. Highly recommended, without a second thought!

(Tuesday - secondary palace) Enjoy a full guided tour of the main royal palace of the Joseon Dynasty. Your guide will share fascinating stories about the site’s history and show you the best spots for photos. Because the palace is quite large, it can be difficult for tourists to explore on their own — that’s why your guide is here to help!
A private tour is truly worth it when we explore not only the north of the Han River but also the south — even if it takes a bit more time!
Stroll down a charming traditional street filled with Korean pottery, artwork, antiques, and cozy Korean-style cafés. After lunch, we’ll relax and enjoy traditional Korean tea together — it’s said to help boost your energy for the rest of the walk! And don’t worry, the guide will treat everyone to tea.
(For the layover tour, it can be replaced in case of heavy traffic) This large and beautiful temple offers peace and history right in the heart of Seoul. We’ll walk around together as the guide explains its background and meaning. You’ll see colorful lanterns and lotus flowers along the way. On the drive there, we’ll pass through Gangnam, one of Seoul’s busiest downtown areas. It’s amazing to find such a calm and spiritual temple surrounded by the city’s most luxurious district. If you’re not particularly interested in temples, your guide can suggest an alternative stop.
(For the layover tour, it can be replaced in case of heavy traffic) This stunning library, famous on social media, holds over 50,000 books — a perfect place for beautiful photos. If you prefer, this stop can be replaced with a visit to a traditional Korean village instead.
We’ll visit a lively traditional market together and discover authentic Korean food and culture. Your guide will explain the history of the market and introduce you to local specialties. We’ll try some delicious snacks together — pancakes, street food, and more! And don’t miss the famous “knife noodle” vendor featured on Netflix, known as the “Netflix Antie.”
Your guide will take you up the mountain to the tower, explain the history of the site, and help you take amazing pictures. The cable car ticket is not included, so please prepare your fare separately. If you’d rather skip this stop, the guide will offer an alternative. Let’s enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of Seoul together!

Seoul is a vibrant city…especially through the eyes and guidance of Soo, our well-prepared guide. There is some walking and steps…but there is always an easier path if you need it. It was very individually adjusted to what we wanted to see. Best tour!!
This is the best tour experience!!! It’s our family’s first time in Seoul so we provided a list of places we wanted to visit & Soo made it all happen!! We started the day early as he helped us rent hanboks and enter Gyeongbokgung Palace while it wasn’t crowded. He was an excellent guide by explaining all the history while still being our photographer by making sure we had great pictures taken in all the best spots!! Soo then took us to Gwangjang market and toured us around the stalls explaining all the food options. He was able to help get us a table at the famous knife cute noodles place we had on our list to visit…we couldn’t have navigated the area without him!! There were several unforgettable stops throughout the day that couldn’t have happened without Soo’s guidance. He also took us to Insadong knowing that our two 20 something year old daughters would love the area….they definitely did! We were especially thankful for Soo kindness. He made sure we had water, snacks & then treated us to an end of day drink!! We highly, highly recommend this tour!! Especially if you’re looking for a guide & tour that allows you to have a specialize itinerary at your pace!!
Soo was an amazing tour guide. He was flexible and accommodating for our family group with a 14 month old. We were glad we got to the palace at opening at his suggestion before the crowds started. He also had some hidden gems to show us that we liked. It was fun spending the day with him.
Could not be more pleased with our tours with Awesome Tour. Our guide, Soo, was the best. Very knowledgeable, so courteous and just so proud of his country. He was so infectious in his manner and demeanor that we came to love the country too. Soo was very timely in getting to all the sights, drove very well and kept us apprised and active during transport. Once we arrived at the various sites, he was well organized and really knew the best routes to take to view everything properly. But, he was always very careful not to hurry us and was very attentive to our fitness level. We never felt rushed as we always had plenty of time at every stop. Plus, he was very willing to change up a bit and offered us choices of sites we could see as alternatives. Thank You Soo and Awesome Tour for a fantastic experience worthy of every dime we paid!!!
Booking Hun was hands down the best decision I made about Korea… along with my K-Beauty experience! It started weeks out. I fired off a wildly ambitious list of everything I wanted to squeeze into a very short window over a national holiday, and Hun reviewed every version with real world feedback. He came to me from a friend who'd done a DMZ tour with him and wouldn't stop raving, and about twenty minutes into day one I understood exactly why. He is funny, warm, quick, endlessly patient and genuinely encyclopedic about Korean culture and history. That is a rare and brilliant combination. Three days in Seoul with him and I'm still thinking about all of it. The crowded, chaotic, gloriously delicious stalls at Gwangjang Market, where he steered me straight to the good stuff- the best donut ever! The changing of the guard, which could so easily have been a quick photo stop and instead turned into one of the most vivid things I saw all trip - he’s a great photographer by the way! Every single day was efficient, perfectly timed (he has all the secret parking spots!) and beautifully curated. It had to be, because my interests were frankly all over the map. From wanting to soak up the culture at Gyeongbokgung Palace, to creativity and incredible food all over the city, to historic sites like the DMZ. Hun met every bit of it. My shopping detours, my random discoveries, my determination to see the modern, design-obsessed side of Seoul as much as the ancient one. All of it, to the absolute fullest. And as I worked my way down my very long restaurant list, I think I might have opened his eyes a little too. What I didn't expect is how approachable he is. Getting to know Hun turned out to be every bit as much a part of getting to know South Korean culture as any palace or market or meal. That isn't something you can put on an itinerary. If you are going to Korea, book Hun. I cannot recommend him enough.
We had the best time with our guide, Hun. So much fun and energy. We had two great days seeing Seoul and Gangwha island. He also arranged transportation for us to go shopping and also airport transfers...so thoughtful. We have had many guides over the years of traveling and agree that Hun was the best !
Soo was an absolutely wonderful guide and one of the highlights of our trip to Korea! From the very beginning, Soo was friendly, welcoming, and full of positive energy. Soo made us feel comfortable right away and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible experience. What we appreciated most was how flexible and attentive Soo was throughout the tour. Soo really listened to what we wanted to see and do, adjusted the itinerary to suit our interests, and made sure we never felt rushed. Rather than simply following a fixed schedule, Soo took the time to understand our preferences and helped us make the most of every moment. That personal touch made the experience feel special and truly tailored to us. Soo also has an impressive knowledge of Korean history, culture, and local life. The explanations were interesting, easy to understand, and full of fascinating details that we would never have learned by exploring on our own. We especially appreciated how Soo brought each place to life with stories and insights, helping us understand not only what we were seeing but also why it mattered. Beyond the knowledge and professionalism, Soo's warm personality made the entire day even more enjoyable. Soo was patient, thoughtful, organized, and always happy to help with any questions or requests. We never felt like just another group of tourists. Instead, we felt genuinely cared for throughout the experience. The transportation was also clean and comfortable, and everything was handled smoothly. From the planning to the little details along the way, Soo made the whole experience easy, relaxing, and enjoyable. If you’re visiting Korea and looking for a guide who is knowledgeable, friendly, flexible, and genuinely passionate about sharing Korean culture, we highly recommend Soo. Whether you’re interested in history, local experiences, or simply exploring Korea at your own pace, Soo will do everything possible to make your trip memorable. Thank you, Soo, for your kindness, enthusiasm, and outstanding hospitality. You helped make our time in Korea even more special, and we would absolutely love to tour with you again on our next visit. If we return to Korea, Soo will definitely be the guide we ask for! Highly recommended — five stars without hesitation! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
My guide Soo made my visit to Seoul during a seamless and memorable. Soo expertly coordinated my pick up and met me inside the airport. I had no real destinations in mind that I wanted to visit, but Soo put together a great itinerary for me including: Changdeokgung Palace Bukchon Hanok Village Gwangjang Market Bugak Palgakjeong (Bugak Skyway Pavilion) It was so much to see during my 6 1/2 hour layover tour. It would not have been possible without Soo’s advanced planning including parking reservations and an efficient tour route to maximize site-seeing and minimize time wasted to find a parking spot. He provided a lot of interesting information and was fun and easy to talk to throughout the day. He helped me with non-English speaking market vendors and had great recommendations for lunch and coffee. I did the Incheon Free Airport Tour on the front end of my trip and this on my way back. While the Free tour was well run and interesting, I preferred this personal touch experience. The itinerary options are plenty with this private tour and I highly recommend!
Very nice and full day trip with moon. He came to get us straight from the cruise port and was very accommodating since he let us go to the hotel first to drop off all of our luggage. We did the cable car to the Seoul tower, the palace, the market (for lunch), Bukchon Hanok village, a temple and a nice shopping street. He rearranged the itinerary throughout the day when the crowds were so busy so we could enjoy each place without too many tourists. He also had an iPad to show us some pictures and give us more information at each location. Over all 10/10 experience, would recommend.
I booked a Seoul city tour for my family (5 adults and my 10 month old baby), and it really made our trip to Korea WAY better! Pickup was timely and seamless, in a comfortable and clean vehicle. Hun took us to Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village, Coex mall and the Starfield Library, Cheonggyecheon Stream and we finished the day off at Gwangjang Market. He explained in detail everything about the country’s history and responded all of our questions about Korea’s day to day life, its influence over culture, and even politics. He is VERY knowledgeable, friendly, funny, speaks perfect English, and also takes amazing photos (a great bonus). I am always looking for reliable, excellent tour operators and I can safely say I found the best one in all of Korea!
We had a wonderful and incredibly informative day with Moon! His knowledge of the history and culture behind the many locations we visited was truly impressive. From the very beginning, Moon was extremely communicative and helpful in planning our tour. He was thoughtful and considerate about making sure we got to see and experience the things that were most important to us. It was clear throughout the day that he genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience. His recommendations for food, tea, drinks, and shopping were all excellent, and his knowledge of every location we visited added so much to the day. The small van was also perfect for covering a lot of ground comfortably while still allowing us to enjoy each stop. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Moon and would highly recommend him to anyone visiting Seoul. He was knowledgeable, personable, attentive, and a pleasure to spend the day with. We couldn't have asked for a better tour experience!
We had an amazing day touring Seoul with Soo! Our group of six enjoyed a private Highlights of Seoul tour, and Soo made the experience fun, interesting, and memorable. We visited Gyeongbokgung Palace and the Changing of the Guard Ceremony, Bukchon Hanok Village, Gwangjang Market, Jogyesa Temple, Insadong, Ikseon-dong Hanok Village, and Bugak Pavilion. It was a wonderful mix of history, culture, food, scenery, and everyday life in Seoul. Soo was knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging, while keeping our group organized and the day relaxed. We especially appreciated the historical and cultural insights that brought each place to life. We learned a lot, saw many sides of Seoul, and had a fantastic time. Soo helped make our first experience in Seoul truly special, and we would absolutely recommend this tour. Five stars!
Hon was an amazing guide. He took me to all the places I wanted and more we made it back to the airport in the nick of time, which is perfect for me as I hate hanging around. His service back-and-forth to the airport was priceless. Although Seoul traffic can be really stressful.
I booked this tour through Awesome Tour directly on WhatsApp. The service was very prompt and we were able to very quickly get a time. We were booking for a layover tour for a 13 hour stop in ICN and the existing airport tours were already full online. I would actually suggest this over the airport tours since you can be more customized and there is less headache over booking. The tour is private with the driver being the tour guide as well, so the experience is very much centered around you. I recommend this tour to anyone with a long layover, it gives you the most time to see the city and arrive for your flight on time. We arrived early at 4:45AM and were able to meet with our tour guide Soo at 7AM (he arrived earlier which is always appreciated to make sure we could start promptly). For those doing this tour, make sure to go through arrivals rather than transfer. If you go through transfer you will need to go back out through security. I cannot recommend our tour guide Soo enough. He was responsive before, during, and after the tour to make sure all needs and questions were accounted for. There was a marathon at the time of the tour and many locations were not open yet. He created an itinerary that avoided the crowds, while not missing any parts of what you would see at the airport tour and in fact we got to see more. He is open to designing the timeline and itinerary Soo is a very knowledgeable guide that was very much able to both communicate the historical facts alongside his personal experience as a local. It gave the impression of going on a trip with a very knowledgeable friend. Also if you have any skincare questions at all, feel free to ask him! He’s very knowledgeable. We wanted to hit up a lot of locations which he happily accommodated and showed all the good photo spots. I really cannot thank him enough for taking so many pictures for us throughout the entire tour. For food and gifts, he has so many good recommendations without pushing any option.I like this as he truly lets you decide what you want if any and acts as a guide not a salesman. I highly appreciate this since we ended up picking a good spot that felt local for lunch and found the exact gifts we were looking for. As for Seoul itself, I was very impressed. The city is a combination of the past and the new. You truly get to see how tradition meshes together with modern institutions. The city felt very safe where we actually left our luggage in the car visibly which is not something I’d ever do in the U.S. The city is also very clean which is a plus. Overall I highly recommend this tour. Soo did a great job all around and I’d definitely recommend anyone to book with him.
Very personalized and informative Never been to South Korea and learned a lot! Saw the major sights!
Our guide was Soo and he did a fabulous job. Although our tour was suppose to start at 7am, he offered to pick us up at 6am because we had limited time available (we had a long layover). This was totally unexpected and so appreciated. Soo planned the day perfectly to maximize what we could visit. He choose a variety of activities to give us a more complete introduction to Seoul. We got to many places right after they opened, which not only allowed us to fully fill our time, it minimized the crowds at the sites we visited. Along the way Soo taught us about the Korean culture, introduced us to Korean foods, and covered some of the 4000+ years of history. We ended our day with a desire to come back for a longer visit to South Korea. This tour exceeded all our expectations.
Our tour with Hun was the perfect way to start our time in South Korea. While he was open to our ideas, we trusted his recommendations and were very happy with his choices of sites. We appreciated his depth of knowledge about both the history of Korea and its present situation. His animated presentations held our attention. The thing that my wife and I most appreciated, and, in some ways, made his tour special for us, was his willingness to answer all of our probing questions and speak openly about himself, his background, and his life in the context of the current situation in South Korea. We highly recommend him as a guide.
Planning with Hun was great. The communication was fast and thorough. The company went out of their way to meet my request. Soo was my guide for 2 days. He was punctual, positive, friendly, and super well prepared and knowledgeable about Korean history and all the places we went. We crammed a lot in 2 days but it never felt rushed. I would highly recommend this company if you’re looking for flexibility and individualization.
My family and I went on a one day Seoul tour with Hun and it was excellent. Hun was very efficient, but also very friendly and provided a ton of information about all of the places we were visiting and Seoul in general. Would not hesitate to book again with for Seoul, or elsewhere in Korea.
This was a lot of fun! thank you for this entertaining day that was fully catering to what I asked for
Dun was so communicative and helpful in getting us from arriving at Incheon to him. He was full of factoids about life in Korea and Seoul in particular. We had a 10-hour layover and spent most of it with Dun. The airport is a bit of a haul from downtown and we were very tired, but the time was so worth it. I feel like we got a quick, easy, fun taste of what a "real" visit to the city would be like. He customized the itenerary for our day to my 16-year-old son's preferences (less culture, more food/shopping) and we had a great time. Would highly recommend!
We had a 24 hour layover in Seoul and decided to book this tour to see the city. From the start there was great communication with Soo who arranged to collect us from the airport. We were able to bring our luggage in the air conditioned mini van. Soo was an amazing guide and provided us with great information on the city. The pace of the tour was perfect even after a long flight and we got to see • Changdeokgung Palace • Bukchonhanok village • Gwangjang market • N seoul tower • Jogyesa temple • Insadong I would highly recommend this tour and Soo as a guide if you are in South Korea
There aren’t enough words to express how grateful we are to Hun and his amazing tour group. He truly made our trip unforgettable and created memories that our family will cherish forever. From the very beginning, Hun was in constant contact with me leading up to our tour. He patiently answered every question we had and took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for. He created a wonderful itinerary for us and then gave us plenty of time to make any changes or adjustments. Everything was so thoughtfully planned and personalized to our family. We were picked up and dropped off right at our hotel in a spacious, comfortable, air-conditioned van, which was especially appreciated during the August heat. My two teenage sons, ages 14 and 16, had the absolute best time with Hun. They loved listening to him share the history, stories, and interesting details about every place we visited. He made everything engaging and fun, and the boys were genuinely excited to learn along the way. Hun also took us to some absolutely delicious places to eat and even went out of his way to make sure my picky eater was happy. One of our favorite experiences was visiting a traditional tea house, which we all loved. He even found a few arcades where the boys could take a break, cool off, and have some fun. This trip was my birthday gift to myself for a milestone birthday, and it was truly my dream trip. I had very high expectations, but the experience went far beyond anything I could have imagined. My family and I will never forget how special this trip was, and Hun played such a huge part in making it that way. I highly, highly recommend Hun and his amazing tour group. If you are looking for someone who is knowledgeable, thoughtful, accommodating, and genuinely cares about making your trip special, look no further. We are so grateful for everything he did for our family and will always remember this incredible experience!
My Korean tour with Soo was an amazing experience that I’ll always remember. We got to explore so many different places around Seoul, from beautiful sights and cultural landmarks to busy streets filled with shops, food, and unique experiences. Every place we visited gave us something new to appreciate about Korea, and getting to experience it all with Soo made the trip even more special. It was such a fun and memorable adventure, and I’m really grateful that we got to see so much of Seoul together.
We had such a great time touring Korea with Soo! He was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely caring throughout the entire day. We learned so much about Korea’s history and culture, but it never felt like we were just being given facts—he made everything interesting and easy to understand. He also tailored the tour around what we wanted to see and do, which made the experience feel so much more personal. Soo even went out of his way to help us shop at certain stores, especially Olive Young, where the language barrier could sometimes be challenging. Having him there made everything much easier and saved us so much time. We also really enjoyed talking with him during the drives—he made us feel comfortable, and the conversations made the entire day even more fun. By the end of the tour, it felt like we had spent the day exploring Korea with a friend rather than just a tour guide. We’re so grateful for the experience and would absolutely recommend Soo to anyone visiting Korea!
After joining many tours and traveling to different countries, I can confidently say that Soo was the best guide we've ever had. There are so many great things to say about him, but here are a few highlights: 1. Friendly and full of positive energy Soo was always kind and had a smile on his face. His positive energy made our tour even more enjoyable, and we found ourselves smiling along with him. 2. Incredible knowledge of Korean history Soo knew so many historical facts and answered every single question we asked. He is an incredibly intelligent person, and his explanations made every place much more meaningful. 3. Flexible with our itinerary We were more interested in Bukchon Hanok Village than Starfield Library, so Soo happily adjusted our itinerary to match what we wanted. He truly listened to our preferences instead of following a fixed schedule. 4. Comfortable and spotless minivan Soo drove a clean and very comfortable minivan. Honestly, I wish we had one like that in our own country! 5. Thoughtful and caring Soo checked whether we had any food allergies, if we liked spicy food, and whether anyone had difficulty walking. Soo paid attention to every little detail and made sure everyone felt comfortable throughout the day. There are many more reasons why we loved this tour, but these are the ones that come to mind first. The thing that impressed us the most was how much Soo genuinely loves Korea and truly loves being a guide. Soo's passion made us feel connected to Korea, and he gave us an unforgettable experience that we'll always remember. We'll definitely recommend Soo to our friends and family, and we'll book another tour with him the next time we visit Korea. We already can't wait to join his other tours, like the DMZ, Suwon, and Nami Island. Thank you, Soo, for giving us such wonderful memories. We're cheering you on and wish you all the best in the future. We strongly recommend SOO—don't miss the chance to tour Korea with him!
We only had a single day in Seoul, and doing this tour with our guide Soo was a brilliant way to see some wonderful city highlights in a fun and totally hassle-free way. Highly, highly recommend!
Moon is a great person to learn about Seoul. Even the day before the tour, he provided me with multiple options for the next day. He is very compassionate, does his job very well, and is responsive to his clients' requests. The whole day of sightseeing went very fast, and the memories will stay for a long time. During my time with him, I asked him for suggestions on many different things. To my surprise, the next day after our tour, he sent me a bunch of information with directions and even times of operation. I was amazed. I will highly recommend Moon's program.
Hun was absolutely amazing! It was non-stop fun from the moment he picked us up and the airport. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the sites we visited and tailored our visit based on our specific interests. Definitely will be going back again for another visit and sharing his info with friends and family.
If you’re looking for the most authentic and truly local experience for your time in South Korea, this group is the only way to go! My wife and I had a private tour for the day where our tour guide (Hun) gave us the most culturally and historically interesting experience of our time abroad. If you’re looking for a small or large group tour, this group is definitely the place to look to. Hun’s care, charisma, and passion was infectious and we truly felt welcomed throughout our entire day. He was flexible and worked extremely hard to ensure we received the most unique experience possible. Additionally, his connections with the locals truly demonstrated his passion for his work as it made for a fun and wonderful time as we went out to eat and explore local cuisine and markets. We thank Hun for such an incredible adventure and we look forward to touring with them again when we come back!
Best 13 hour layover we’ve ever had! Hun picked us up at the airport after our red eye and we napped in his comfortable SUV while he drove us to Seoul. He took us to all of the places he thought we should see. Such an easy and fun day since we had no idea what we should see! Definitely will book Hun again next time we have another layover in Incheon.
Soo was an incredible tour guide for us all day. He picked us up right on time, and we went and saw everything that was on our list. He timed things so well and was able to work in so many things that we were interested in. Soo was very knowledgeable about everything he showed us as well as Korean culture in general and really took the time to share his love of Korea with us. Highly recommend him!!! We spent the day exploring Seoul including the temple, local village, palace, DDP, etc.
I rarely leave reviews on businesses, but this one deserves it. This tour was definitely better than the one we had last year. Our tour guide Hun was fun, energetic, flexible, and very knowledgeable. Our needs and wants were all catered to. He was very friendly and his recommendations were on point. Wish we had more time to go around but we had a flight to catch. We'll be back for sure and book him again! 10/10! 😊
We had an incredible day in Seoul with Han! He picked us up directly from the airport, making our layover completely stress-free, and created a fantastic tour that allowed us to experience so much of the city in just one day. Han took us to the beautiful Gyeongbokgung Palace, the iconic N Seoul Tower with its amazing views, a peaceful Buddhist temple, the charming Bukchon Hanok Village with its historic Korean homes, and a lively traditional market where we enjoyed a delicious, authentic Korean lunch. Throughout the day, Han shared fascinating stories about Korea’s history, culture, and traditions. He was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and made us feel welcome from the moment we met him. The tour was perfectly organized, and we never felt rushed despite seeing so many incredible places. If you have a layover or limited time in Seoul, we can’t recommend Han enough. He made our visit unforgettable, and thanks to him, we left Korea with wonderful memories and a much deeper appreciation for this beautiful country.
Soo was a great guide! Flexible, fun and a great driver! We had a great time traversing across Seoul, seeing sights, taking great photos and making memories.
It was our first time in Korea, and we were not quite sure of exactly where to go. Booking with Hun and Awesome Tour was 100% one of the best investments we could’ve made. There was no need to worry about where to go and what to do, because Hun had everything figured out based on his being a native of the area. We were taken to popular tourist destinations, as well as lesser known spots that the local locals actually like to congregate at. Hun is also quite a character in very entertaining in his own, right. We had a party of seven and everyone was thoroughly satisfied. We already have plans to return and use Hun and his services next year. Book with Hun, you won’t be disappointed!
Han is an excellent tour guide. Super knowledgeable but also so fun and lighthearted. We had a mixed age group from 13-75 and everyone had a great time. It’s like being toured around by a really good family friend. We were able to customize everything and he helped my parents on the stairs, made it so they had minimal walking and ample air conditioning. He treats everyone with kindness and every vendor and parking attendant seemed to know and love him. Made our day so much smoother. Don’t hesitate!!!
Hun was absolutely fantastic!! He knew exactly where to take us based on our interests. It’s also a bonus that he takes great pictures!
Hun is the funnest guy ever to guide you!!! We had three generations, 11-year old to 75+ year old and we all had the best time! Sassy and misbehaved kids were no challenge for Hun. We took pics with Hambok, we went to the palace before the crowds and heat were crazy, we learned so much all day long, and we ate like locals/kings!!!! Grandpa had mobility issues and Hun made sure that he was taken care of. Breaks when needed, out of the sun, door to door service because he knows everyone and gets VIP parking, but overall that was our main concern. He balanced the usual sightseeing with what we wanted (salt bread, great street food, Hanbok wearing for only pics and not to overheat at the palace, and also added things he personalized for us like more shopping at the library, some quiet and slow time at the Buddhist temple. For a 2-day visit, he made our one day of touring the best ever. Entertained and informed three generations and everyone got to do and see what they wanted with his expert driving and parking! Apparently that is a skill here! Parking is no joke! He’s now part of the fam and whether he is visiting us in Hawaii or Texas or we are coming back to hang out with him and eat raw beef and crab (and survive and it’s delicious btw), he’s family! Hun loves his job and rocks at it! We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and experience and whether one-day or multi-day, I/we would hang with him for any duration! Crazy good time! This is who you want to make memories with!!!!
What a wonderful experience. The tour was incredible. Our guide, Soon, was professional, insughtful and incredibly personable. Cannot recommend this tour enough.
We had a 14 hour layover in Seoul and opted for the 9-hour layover tour! Soo was our guide & made it absolutely unforgettable. He met us right inside the airport, which took all the stress out of navigating, and from there he was the most kind, professional, and passionate guide we could’ve asked for. In just one day we hit: Gyeongbokgung Palace Bukchon Hanok Village Gwangjang Market - where we tried the Netflix street food noodles + dumplings. Soo even asked the chef for a photo with us! N Seoul Tower Starfield Library Bongeunsa Temple Soo is an amazing driver and went above and beyond the whole time. He covered parking + almost all admission fees, only the cable car was extra. You can tell he’s truly educated and passionate about Korean culture — his stories made every stop come alive. What really stood out: the locals clearly love him too. He knows so many people that we even got special parking in super busy areas. That local connection made the tour feel effortless and VIP. If you have a layover and want to actually SEE Seoul without the hassle, book Soo. He’s friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel like friends by the end. Seriously so great meeting him and having him tour us around!
Hun was an amazing tour guide. He made Seoul come alive for my family. He is enthusiastic, knowledgeable and very kind. He loves Seoul and Korea and he gave my family an experience they will always remember. I highly recommend this tour!!’
Thank you for a great day in korea! We had a great experience during airport transit. Super knowledgeable, friendly and communication was also easy and smooth. Highly recommend!
We had a 12 hour layover at Incheon Airport, so we wanted to book a tour to see some sights in Korea before our flight back home - and we're glad we did! Soo was very friendly, organized, and knowledgeable, sharing many interesting facts about Korean culture and history with us. Although we were a bit short on time, we were still able to visit 6 different locations and really enjoyed our time at each of them! Soo also knew some great photo spots and took amazing photos for us. We definitely recommend this experience to others who have some time to kill during their layover in Korea 😊 Thank you Soo again!
Our tour was perfect. Soo helped us plan in advance, then make on-the-fly adjustments the night before and during the day to accommodate our exhausted children (aged 8 and 11). He was efficient, friendly and knowledgeable- and his English was impeccable. He planned the day to avoid major crowds at sights, and also had several spots that were tucked away and exclusive to him / his company that allowed us to get even better photos and experiences. He engaged with our shy children, drawing them out of their shells by chats about Pokemon, sharing facts and stories about his personal life and generally just being a lovely person. He recommended a great spot for lunch we all enjoyed, and showed us shops that had things for everyone for souvenirs (even a Pokemon pack my son had been searching for across 2 countries). He also took the beat photos we got of our entire 12-day vacation across Japan and Korea - seriously amazing photographs in beautiful spots. I would 100000% recommend him to anyone and would absolutely seek him out again if we go back to Seoul.
5 days before my daughter and I travelled to Korea, I messaged Awesome Tour and communicated with Hun (the owner of Awesome Tour) through WhatsApp. I sent him our itinerary - arrived Incheon Airport on Thursday evening and the next day flight was not until Friday evening. At first, we wanted to book the flexible night tour but Hun was very helpful in answering my questions and concerns. He convinced me to switch to the day tour instead and that we would have enough time to see places before getting dropped off at the airport. Since my daughter is crazy about Korean skincare products, Hun also suggested for us to stay in Myeondong so we could enjoy the night market on our own and to be able to shop at Olive Young and some other shops that sell skincare products. We listened to his advice and had the best time at the Myeondong night market. We were picked up on time the next morning by Hun in a large and comfortable vehicle. We were picked up at 7.15 am and were dropped off at the airport by 2.30 pm. In that 7 hours, we were able to visit Jogyesa Temple, Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village, Namsan Tower and Gwangjang Market. Hun is the best tour guide anyone could have asked for. He is friendly, funny, knowledgeable and famous (he knows everybody!!). The whole time we were touring, we felt like we were with a good friend. It was filled with laughters and great conversation of the difference in the culture and lifestyles. The trip was not rushed, we took our own sweet time and Hun took great pictures of us! We wanted to wear Hanbok so he brought us to the place which had a reasonable price and took less than 20 mins to dress both of us up. At Gwangjang Market, we braved our hearts and did the wildest thing ever! He taught us how to eat the beef tartare with chopped live octopus and raw egg yolk. It was delicious and fresh! He also bought us twisted glutinous rice donut (Chaapsal Kkwaebegi) which tasted amazing! I am smiling while typing this thinking of the beautiful time we had in Seoul. We miss Hun already! We will definitely book Awesome Tour again next time. Thank you so much, Hun!
We had a great tour with Hun. It was the perfect combination of history and fun. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the places we visited. We were able to go at our own pace.
This was such a wonderful private tour and perfect for our 13 hour layover in Incheon. Soo was our guide for the day and he did a great job communicating with us prior to our arrival and came to the airport terminal to pick us up. The vehicle was a large mini van and very comfortable for our family of four plus luggage. He customized the day for our interests - we saw the Starfield Library, Gyeongbokgung Palace (including renting hanboks, Korean traditional attire which was so amazing for photos), Bukchonhanok village (where we had traditional Korean chicken soup and rice) and went shopping, and finally Myeongdong Street (Roof cat me cafe). The cat cafe was incredible and my cat loving daughter was in heaven! Then Soo took us back to the airport with plenty of time to make our evening flight. All in all just an amazing day - he was incredibly kind, patient and personable and his English js also excellent. Thanks so much Soo! .
Hun was awesome. He gave us a terrific 10-hour tour of Seoul during our layover. Friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend.
