Excellent guide (Sky). Some hiccups with starting time brought forward and lake visit cancelled through insufficient numbers, but the trip to DMZ went very smoothly with no delays. Definitely recommend this private tour.

Michael our trip guide was simply amazing. So full of energy and facts. He ensured that our small group reached DMZ at a time which ensured our access to the the tunnels via monorail. He is engaging and thoughtful. He made sure we were taken care of . He took us to authentic lunch which was superb. The man is very talented and I highly recommend that you use this small group tour as it feels intimate and 1 on 1 rather than a herd in a bus full of 60 plus tourists. Had a great day trip to the DMZ with a small group. Michael was our guide. Full of energy, fun and very informative. He made sure we got had an early start which was very sensible to beat the crowds. A fascinating and worthwhile experience during our trip to Korea. Visiting the DMZ gave us a much better understanding of the Korean War and the continuing division between North and South Korea. Seeing the sites in person made the history feel much more real. The tour was well organized, and our guide explained the historical background clearly and engagingly. Educational, thought-provoking, and definitely worth doing when visiting Seoul. Highly recommended for anyone interested in Korean history.

Bill Hwang was a great guide on our DMZ tour. He is a wealth of knowledge, kept our tour entertained but also taught us a lot about the DMZ area and history. He speaks at a great pace and patiently answered our questions. The small group tour was really great because we got to know the other tour members well and formed a close knit group with Bill’s help. It was also nice to not always crowd around to listen because we were a small group. Bill took care of all the ticketing requirements and kept us at a great pace in all the stops during the tour. He also helped us take few great photos on his phone that he shared with us afterwards. I highly recommend the trip and having Bill as a guide.

The DMZ tour led by Bill Hwang was a tremendous opportunity to visit and learn about one of the most significant and storied locations in the world. The small tour group, “Team Bill”, allowed for tailored explanations and many opportunities for questions. This tour perfectly balanced a mix of both guide-led and independent exploration of the several DMZ sites, enabling an amazing learning experience.

We originally booked a group tour, however due to smaller numbers we were offered the opportunity to upgrade to a private tour — and what an incredible decision that turned out to be! Originally, this was not meant to be a private tour, but due to low numbers, the company changed it to a private tour. While it cost a little more, it was absolutely worth every cent and ended up being one of the highlights of our trip to Korea. Bill was knowledgeable, engaging, and full of great dad jokes that kept us laughing throughout the day. He shared fascinating information about Korea’s history, culture, and attractions, and he was always happy to answer questions. He also provided excellent recommendations for places to visit during the rest of our stay. Because it became a private tour, we were able to enjoy a much more personal experience, and Bill was incredibly accommodating with our schedule and interests. We never felt rushed and were able to make the most of our day. A special thank you to Mr Kim, who was an excellent driver—professional, friendly, and always ensuring we travelled comfortably and safely. We were notified the day before where our meeting place & time would be from Team Bill! Team Bill was very prompt with returning our texts! Our meeting time was moved up 20 minutes earlier than scheduled. This helped to facilitate our group getting an earlier tour at the DMZ due to May attendances & it being a first come basis. Tour well worth your time & money spent & highly recommend. Be advised there's a considerable amout of walking involved with this tour. Our opinion was that Team Bill took a lot of pride in his work, knowledgeable & very willing to answer our questions. Team Bill took various pictures of all of us throughout the day & sent them to us on the What's App! Team Bill reached out to us at the end of our tour & offered for us to text him on the What's App if we needed any advise during our stay in Seoul. If you're looking for a tour with a considerable amount of free time this tour is not for you as it's very structured & time oriented. Great job Team Bill!
