The most popular attractions within the park are Hill of Music, a large grassy slope, and Pinwheel Park, featuring over 3,000 colorful pinwheels spinning freely in the wind. At the North Korea Experience Hall in Imjingak Pyeonghoa-Nuri Park, discover a glimpse into everyday life across the border through unique exhibits and videos. The highlight is a live Q&A session with North Korean defectors, offering powerful firsthand stories that bring the reality of North Korea closer than ever.

The 3rd Tunnel is the third of its kind built by North Korea for the purpose of invading South Korea. It was discovered in 1978. Among the four tunnels located so far, it is closest to Seoul (about 52 km). It has a total length of 1.6 km and a width of 2 m. It is estimated that nearly 30,000 personnel can move through the tunnel every hour. Visitors to the 3rd Tunnel must reserve the tour in advance. The tour starts from the Imjingak Pavilion. All visitors are required to bring their identification, such as passports or Alien Registration Card (ARC).
Dora Observatory is the closest DMZ observatory to Panmunjeom. From Dora Observatory, one can see not only the Panmunjeom but also the village of Daeseong-dong within the DMZ, mountains and farmlands on the North Korean side, and the city of Gaeseong, a North Korean city and the historic capital of Goryeo (918-1392). Individual visits are not allowed. The observatory can only be accessed through the DMZ Peace Tour, which embarks from Imjingak Pavilion after reservation. All visitors are required to bring their identification, such as passports or Alien Registration Card (ARC).

I was personally very interested in this tour for my visit to Korea as my Korean friends had always told me about the history with North Korea and how much it affected their families. The tour was brilliant in every aspect: a punctual hotel pick-up, a non-stop series of interesting visits, but the best part of the tour was our guide, Won. When someone is passionate about what they do and has the knowledge to answer every question, it really shows (and I ask a lot of questions). Many thanks to Won and our driver that day; it was one of the best tours I’ve been on in Asia. Kind regards, Dr Alejandra Rodríguez Llerena
Won was an excellent guide! She was very informative. Great tour around the Observatory and the 3rd Tunnel. I would highly recommend Won!
AMAZING EXPERIENCE… great value and Won our guide was WORLD 🌎 CLASS… One might say we won with WON… 😜
It was a really pleasant and informative tour. Won, our tour guide was very good. She explained everything about the history of North and South Korea in a short but informative way. Really enjoyed the experience.
Won was an amazing tour guide and well as the driver. Won was very informative, knowledgeable and friendly. She is one of the best tour guides Ive met
Excellent tour guide Won. Really appreciated all the explanations to our questions and interesting stories and insights shared.
Tour Guide helpful with information.
Everything was great! Won is a really good guide, very attentive and friendly, telling interesting facts. The organisation is well done.
We really enjoyed the tour. Our guide Won was friendly and knowledgeable, which made the tour informative and enjoyable. The mini van and a small group made a huge difference in our experience. Highly recommended tour
This tour was excellent from start to finish. Won shared her extensive knowledge with us throughout the trip, was very approachable and keen to ensure you had the best experience possible. My mum and I came away from this tour with lots of great memories (including the once in a life time “saunter” down the third infiltration tunnel - Won, thank you for your patience). All in all, Won was a fantastic guide and I would highly recommend!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely amazing DMZ tour! The tour had been recommended to us, which is why we decided to book directly with the tour operator—and we are so happy that we did! Everything was very well organized, informative and exciting from beginning to end. Our guide, Lucky, was truly the best! She was incredibly friendly, funny and knowledgeable, and she made the whole experience unforgettable. She explained everything clearly, answered all our questions and took such great care of the entire group. You can really feel how passionate Lucky is about her work. Thanks to her, the tour was not only educational but also so much fun. We would 100% recommend this DMZ tour—and especially Lucky—to everyone visiting South Korea. Thank you, Lucky, for this wonderful experience! 😊
We went on the tour with Won Unnie, and she did such an amazing job! Pick-up and drop-off were included in the price, which made everything very convenient. The tour itself was incredibly impressive and lasted about five hours. We went on a Thursday, and the crowds were quite manageable. Even though some parts of the experience can feel quite intense and unsettling, it’s definitely a trip that stays with you. It really makes you reflect and appreciate even more how privileged we are in our everyday lives. Won Unnie explained everything extremely well and even showed us some additional places and details along the way. She made the whole experience much more personal and interesting, and I can wholeheartedly recommend her!
Worth while visit to the DMZ and the history of the Korean Peninsula and its current status. I truly wish for a united Korea someday. Our guide, Won was exceptional with her knowledge and concern of the well being of her clients. Length of the time and the cost of the tour was appropriate. Our driver was great too. I recommend the tour and our guide.
Lucky was a very good tour guide. I highly recommend her! From the moment we got in the van she was explaining the itinerary and providing us information about Korea and the DMZ. She handled all of the logistics like a professional and made the trip very smooth. We didn't have to think about anything.
Won was so knowledgeable and made the tour fun and interesting for the kids! Would highly recommend her as a tour guide.
Amazing tour if you are enthusiastic about the difference of life’s of two Koreas divided. Had lots of information given by my guide, Sophia, such a great professional she is.
Our guide Won was really nice, thoughtful and easy to understand. The Tour was interesting, informative, but not overwhelming.
Today’s DMZ tour was without a doubt one of the most powerful and memorable experiences I’ve had in South Korea. From the very first moment, our tour guide set the tone with an incredible depth of knowledge, warmth, and genuine passion for sharing the story of this divided peninsula. Every explanation was thoughtful, engaging, and perfectly balanced between historical context and personal storytelling — truly world-class guiding. The highlight for many of us was descending into the Third Infiltration Tunnel — a surreal and spine-tingling experience that makes history feel immediately real and tangible. Walking through the narrow, dimly lit passage carved by North Korean hands, you can’t help but reflect on the tension and complexity that still defines this region today. The Dora Observatory offered a breathtaking and sobering glimpse into North Korea — standing at the edge of two worlds and peering through binoculars at a landscape frozen in time is something words can barely describe. The silence up there speaks volumes. What truly elevated this tour, though, was the guide’s extraordinary ability to bring every location to life with context, nuance, and humanity. Never preachy, always insightful — this is exactly the kind of experience that stays with you long after you’ve returned home. If you’re visiting South Korea and want a deeper understanding of its history, its people, and the hope for reunification, this tour is an absolute must. Highly, highly recommended!
Excellent tour. Highly recommend. Our tour guide was Won. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. Made the experience amazing.
Won, our guide, was lovely, knowledgeable and helpful
I wanted to do the DMZ tour for so long and today was the day. I had a blast! My tour guide, Sophia, was the best!! Couldn't wish for a better one. She was funny, explained everything and had answers for all of my questions. Atmosphere was really good. We had a good weather so even tho it's winter, it was pretty sunny and I could see everything very nicely. The crowd sice wasn't even that big, we didn't need to wait anywhere really but Sophia told me it's not always like that. The admission fee was fine I would say, not expensive. If you are thinking about doing this tour, you should definitely go for it and choose Sophia as your guide, I think you will have the best time ever!
The trip to DMZ was very informative and efficient. Our tour guide, Ms. K.C., is so enthusiastic, professional, kind and helpful that she gave us one of the most impressive one-day tours I have ever had.
Fantastic guide and tour was well organized, prompt, professional and informative. I would recommend it. Pickup was at 6:30 from the hotel and was completed by 2:30 as advertised.
The tour was very informative. The tour guide was eager to share the knowledge and was patient along the way. It felt as a personalized experience as one can get. Eunice was very pleasant and made us feel comfortable about asking anything. Thank you for the experience and we’ll recommend you to our friends and family.
This was a great tour. Overall we really enjoyed our tour and listening and learning from our guide Sue. She's very knowledgeable. After being dropped off and before being picked up by the bus I would have liked to have known about going around the building to see the Freedom bridge and the train. The tunnel and DMZ viewing theater was definitely interesting and had plenty of time there. I did not like being brought to the amethyst store at the end. There's no need for that. And one more thing...there was a lot of confusion in the morning being picked up. Several of us have to wait about 30 min. longer than we were told. Real time updates would have been nice.
Excellant trip - this was part of my bucket list and Jeon Eunji was great at explaining everything - we went to DMZ area and walked the tunnel
The tour was so fantastic with Sunny Agency. Mimi was an amazing tour guide and kind and very knowledgeable. We were short on time, but she was able to cover many things on the DMZ tour such as Imjingak, the 3rd tunnel, and the observatory! Transportation is all included, so moving between locations ran smoothly.
Everything was fine until we were joined with another group, we were taken in 2 different vans and in the end we were touched by other people not tidy, they would not let the guide speak and sometimes took time to return to the bus. Eventually I felt like we were being rushed because we were late in time. And they let us travel very little, the time felt was very little in each place. The very friendly Grace guide tried to answer everything and do things the best she could even with the bad weather.
