We have a layover in Incheon airport and decided to take advantage of it. We were so impressed with Seoul and our tour guide that we will come back and make a trip just to there. The tea house he took us to was the best experience.

We took a two days private tour. The tour was really amazing!! We visited not only historical places but the "daily life" places from Seoul. Learned a lot! The guides were so polite, and dedicated, they respected our times and interests, made our days... fantastic days!
Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing because the tour was canceled just one day prior. I only discovered the cancellation by accident when I noticed a message through the booking service. The payment for the tour was processed in advance, but I am still waiting for the refund (after a month). Due to late cancellation, all other alternatives were already fully booked.
Amazing time on Seoul under the impeccable guidance of Moises from Mortour. Great correspondence prior to my arrival with proper plans on place and just really detailed and great guidance over multiple days. It was a pleasure to spend time with Moises and being introduced to all the wonders of Seoul. Unforgettable experience. Thank you Moises.
Our day in Seoul with Moises was amazing! We had a full day in Seoul as a stopover and wanted to explore the city by foot with a private guide and a big focus on food :) Moises accommodated all our wants and took us to different restaurants, cafes, markets... we also went to some less touristy areas of Seoul, which was really nice too. I highly recommend Moises's services!
It was a nice experience, the guide knows the history and shows the relevant places near Insadong. She gave good recommendations about dinner, gifts and she even gave us a little Korean lesson. I highly recommend
We did the group walking tour in Seoul and found it incredibly informative and interesting. We had only arrived to Seoul a couple of days earlier, and this tour was the perfect way to learn some of the history of the city and find some fun places to shop and eat. Our tour guide was very informative and had great suggestions in terms of tea houses and restaurants. For anyone looking for an overview of the city this tour is a great place to start.
With only four hours to spare in Seoul, we were determined to see as much as possible. Although limited, Moises crafted a practical itinerary that allowed us to experience the city’s highlights. It was ideal. Our guide, Marti, was incredibly knowledgeable, accommodating, and pleasant!
Moses gave us a great overview of Korean history and culture. The tour delivered much more than we expected and included plenty of local insights & tips. Enjoyed every minute.
Just finished our 2.5hr tour with Moises and really enjoyed it! Moises was super informative and the time flew by. Would highly recommend.
Insightful guided tour in the centre of Seoul by Moises. He is a competent and really friendly tourist guide and business owner. The communication around the booking was easy. During the walk, he didn't just told us insights on the Korean history and everyday life, but also showed us very nice places. We even had the chance to meet with local artisans and artists, too during the tour, and saw/tasted culinary delicacies. It was really special to see a. o. the shop of a stamp-carver, to experience a small, local tea room, to eat the typical, authentic street food of Koreans. Moises has great connections all around the city, and he was absolute glad to recommend us places (restaurants, bars, museums etc.) or answer to our questions. This personal side and carefully curated route of the tour makes it (and also his business) special. I'm happy to recommend him, and I can just wish all the bests for his goals.
Moises was a wonderful tour guide! He gave us enough history to better understand the country and the culture. He is very experienced. Knew where to get the best, authentic Korean street food. He was considerate to the interests of his tour group, extremely knowledgeable and seem to know everyone. We travel regularly and he is one of the best your guides we have had anywhere. I would highly recommend him and will look for Mortour tours in other destinations.
Fantastic day in Seoul! We had an incredible private tour which allowed us to experience parts of the city we would have never explored as well as try some amazing local foods. Mortours does it best!! Highly recommend for an amazing experience in this bustling city.
Jemma’s explanations were so good and interesting!!! They made our visit to Seoul so much better than we expected. THANK YOU.
If you want a great intro to Korean history and the city of Seoul don’t go further than this great tour. Gemma was the guide and she was exceptional. The tour covers a lot of ground from history, to culture to language and to food. Well worth doing.
Our guide Jemma is a student with strong knowledge of Korean history and culture. She offered contextual interpretations of modern Seoul interspersed with her explanations of history monuments and politics. She also provided us with an understanding of the alphabet and recommended food options. The pacing was perfect with stops for water and restrooms on a very hot day. Kudos!
Moses was a great guide and I highly recommend this tour as it was packed with facts and details that are not common knowledge without an experienced guide.
Had a brilliant day with Moises exploring the markets and streets of Seoul. Moises met us at our hotel and quickly helped us take a proper local tour, we took the metro into the heart of Seoul and walked around - it was great to explore and see sights that we wouldnt have stumbled across on our own. We were then taken through the markets and able to sit down with one of the vendors for some great food before one of the best korean bbq experiences of our lives. By the end of it we felt like we spent a day with a great friend. Highly recommend touring with Moises and exploring Seoul through his eyes
What an amazing tour full of all the sights, food and culture. I highly recommend taking this tour to experience the best of Seoul. Our guide was so knowledgeable and fun. Great experience.
This was a very easy walking tour and covered areas to include city hall, Sejongno Gwanghwamun Plaza, Gyeongbokgung palace and Insadong. We were fortunate to have Jemma as our guide. She was well spoken, provided a lot of interesting historical information pertaining to the places we visited and took the time to patiently answer all of our questions It was really nice to get the historical background of Seoul and put a lot of things into perspective. I would highly recommend this tour for first time visitors to Seoul and thank Guruwalk and Jemma for making our visit to Seoul so memorable.
Our guide Gemma was great and very knowledgeable, it was very informative tour. However there were some logistical shortcomings : 1. The group was too large , almost 40 people, normally groups like this are split but I guess second tour guide was unavailable to split the group 2. As a result of group size, it was almost impossible to hear the guide especially in noisy areas. It would be helpful if mic/speaker were used. 3. There was no identifying “long stick” or umbrella which are carried normally by tour guides and raised to help the group to find the guide. Combined with the fact that the tour moved very quickly, and some areas had many people, so we almost lost the group at two occasions. Looks like some people were lost towards end of the tour.
Great way to see some major sights in central Seoul. My guide Gemma was excellent. This tour is a good way to learn some basic history and also decide where you might want to go back to explore some more later. The tour was a good pace and Gemma was able to answer all my questions.
I had a terrible experience… I had a situation happen and told the tour guide I wouldn’t be attending. My situation was resolved and I tried to contact the tour guide to ask if I could still join. The tour started at 9am and I texted her at 9:50… I told her I would be willing to meet with the group wherever they were on my own. She saw my message but did not respond. Later I called to ask for a refund and they told me I was late.. and that it’s my fault I missed the tour.. like wtf? If I’m messaging you to tell you I can meet the group on my own.. how is it okay for you to deny that? It’s not like I was asking to be picked up.., overall the way this situation was handled was terrible.
The tour operator cancelled the tour one day before it was scheduled. No reason was given. Totally unprofessional considering tourists have limited days.
Moises was excellent! Very knowledgable, relaxed and patient. A great primer on Seoul and Korean history. Highly recommended.
Highly recommended tour, Mr. Moises our guid was very informative, knows about the history of Korea. Even if you ask him anything he’s pleased to answer you with details. The whole trip was almost 5hrs but we never noticed the time! This shows how much we we’re enjoying. Mr. Moises was very kind and flexible and good at taking photos. Also he was very kind with us since we were having our 3y/o daughter. I’d never knew the real history of Korea without booking this tour and thanks to the guide Moises!
Gemma, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable about the history of the country and all the sights to see! The tour brought to life the history of the amazing city while experiencing its modernity. Definitely recommend!
Excellent communication but such an amazing day spent exploring around Seoul! So grateful for this opportunity to explore.
We met Gemma at exit 5 of City Hall where she gave us a brief history and overview of the City and expectations of the Tour. Started with viewing the exterior of City Hall and the Metropolitan Library and since both were closed we just listened to interesting facts on these two important structures. Except for a brief lunch at the expense of the Tour we walked from 1230pm onto 430pm without realizing that we had spent so much time admiring the beauty of Seoul and listening to interesting facts from Gemma. At lunch Gemma helped us with choosing and understanding the menu. We ended the tour in Insadong in the Art district. Gemma gave us suggestions on dining and shopping. Was a great experience.
Fantastic tour and Moises was fabulous, highly recommended as first thing to do on your first day in Seoul to get a great overall understanding of the country and culture.
I had Moises as my tour guide. He is very knowledgable on the history of South Korea and aspects on society. One of the most exciting parts of the tour was the local cultural market, where I had the chance to visit establishments that are more than 100 years old manufacturing unique products.
Loved the guided tour around Seoul with Moises! Lots of great stories about the history of Seoul and the different eras of how Seoul and South Korea became the place we know today. Lots of great tips about local areas to eat and drink and buy some traditionally souveniers. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to learn about the history of Seoul. Much better to do this than to pay for one of the overpriced tours from other tour guides. Great times!! 😀😀
This was a fun and informative tour including great historical context and lots of handy tips for exploring Seoul. Would recommend this tour to others exploring Seoul.
A ver informed guide and a good orientation for seoul. Culture conexion and historical inputs by the way walking in the city. Good concept.
We had a fabulous private tour of the downtown Seoul with our guide, Moises. He was very detailed and brought us to very authentic local places which we enjoyed very much. This tour presents a very good overview of Seoul even for travellers who have been to the city before. Thanks for the wonderful experience!
Lovely tour and great way to see a little of seoul. We have a lovely time. The guide was very knowledgeable.
He is very informative, warm and accommodating Highly Recommended Will definitely avail his services on our future travels
I am a massive fan of walking tours, which I have done in almost all the cities I have visited. Those are always the best way to get to know a city, as well as having someone local to direct you to the must-see and hidden niche places. This has not been different. Super recommended. 2 hours full of history and anecdotes, and also the great recommendation of places to eat!! Fell in love with the Tea house the court around it!
Highly recommended for a first contact with the city. We visited the basic points of the city and got great recommendations for tasting local food.
Moisés was well versed in the history of the city. He made the tour fun and was accommodating. Highly recommend.
Moises over delivered with his experience. He provides a well structured tour through the beautiful city of Seoul. Moises is well educated on the history of Seoul and has great experience as a tour guide. Book with him it’s well worth it.
A great way to start the trip to Seoul, you get to see most of the important places, learn about the history of Korea and get great tips for the rest of the trip
Worst experience I've ever had with a tour company. We had our tour cancelled 1 hour early. They spent it for the next day and 1 hour before they said that the tour was not going to be in Spanish as we had taken out. Then they called it off. A mess. A total lack of ethics and respect.
The tour that started at 11:30 in the morning. The previous day we had a serious problem (loss of bags at the airport) that we had to claim and at 11'20 we informed the company that we were taxiing to the meeting point, we again inform that we will be 10 minutes late to wait for us. At 11.25 am, that is, before the hour, they tell me that they canceled my tour and that I would return my money. We arrived at the meeting point at 11:40 and no one was there. I feel totally disappointed in this operator. We have done other tours in Japan with another operator in the last two weeks as well as on other trips and we have always expected 10 minutes of courtesy and more when we have advised in advance that we were going by taxi. Coming to Seoul from Spain we don’t do it every weekend and I just asked you to wait 10 minutes. Unfortunately the operator's response. Thank you TripAdvisor for the great sensitivity you have had. What a day, no suitcase and no tour, I wish it on no one.
We decided on Mortour for a free tour of Seoul and we got it right. Our Auxi Guide helped us to know the city and solved all our doubts. If anyone asks us we will recommend this tour.
Tour very complete, knowing the most important. Moi knows Seoul well, and that shows. It translates into a tour where you visit the essentials of the city , and puts some added value with some corner / place less visited and just as spectacular. The truth is that the 2 day tour, is very advisable.
Blanca was a great guide! He told us many interesting things about Seoul and marked good places to visit. Thank you very much, everything impeccable!
Excellent tour! Super recommended to get to know Seoul. Blanca is an excellent guide, explains everything in detail and is always attentive to the group! I got to see how some girls were doing on the tour and it was sunny and she lent them her umbrella, very nice gesture on her part!
The private tour with Moses has been 10. We have enjoyed your historical explanations about everything we have seen. We have also been able to enjoy the gastronomy and have been able to recommend places to eat and dine as the locals do. It has adapted perfectly to our needs and schedules and also our children have had a great time. An experience to recommend and a tour to repeat in Seoul or another country where they are. Thanks and see you next time! gamsahabnida!
Malgre la pluie, Moïse a su rendre cette visite très intéressante. Nous avons beaucoup appris sur Séoul, sur l'histoire et la culture coréenne. A faire en début de séjour car on récupère plein de bons conseils.
