Day Trip To Nami Island With The Garden Of Morning Calm

Had a fantastic time. Our guide heather was great. Her english pronunciation is not that great though. But still perfectly understandable and she makes up for it by being fun and so accommodating. And she is knowledgeable with many fun facts and great tips.

It was super nice, both the garden and nami island were just amazing and the tour guide was super nice even booked us lunch at a nearby restaurant

The itinerary was well planned with morning spent at The Garden of Morning Calm and afternoon at Nami Island. The lunch spot selected was also yummy. Overall, I enjoyed the nature views including the flora and fauna that I sighted during this trip. Shoutout to our guide Janggun for bringing us around the different places.

Our guide was JK, he was incredible to say the least. We started with the Garden of the Morning Calm and it was calm and beautiful. Some of the trails were very strenuous, but I manage at 81 to do them. My wife took a seat while I adventured off. We had 2 hours in the Garden, most of it on our own. We departed there for Nami Island and took the ferry to the island. It was very nice, although a bit commercial. Nami Island was easy to navigate and had some interesting site, but if we had our younger grandkids it would have made it more enjoyable. We were given 4 hours, that included time for lunch, which was too much time.

Loved the Gardens and Nami Island. Stir Fried Chicken lunch was delicious. Our guide Ron was excellent!!

It was an excellent tour. Guide was very helpful. The Garden of Morning calm was very spiritual and the piano music was very good.

This was a very nice experience. We went to the Garden first, then had lunch before going to Nami Island. This was a good decision because so many people were waiting for the ferry to leave the island as we arrived. Toyr guide Jordan was excellent. Very personable and shared a lit of information. Please be aware that the pick ip and drop off points are not exactly the same!

Had fun with friends on Nami island

Quite crowded due to weekend visitors but overall good experience. Both places are beautiful. Entry was smooth and no queues despite the crowd, as part of the guided tour group. Foreign visitors avoid weekend trips.

The Garden was peaceful despite holiday crowds. This moment is between Summer flowers and Fall colors. Nami Island is an attraction, so don’t expect wilderness. Plenty of areas to enjoy. If interested, there’s a musical instrument exhibit in the museum. The guide was enthusiastic and attentive to our needs, but this is largely transportation only.

Ben was a great guide, he shared additional contextual information about Korea’s culture and history without being overwhelming. The restaurant option offered before Nami Island, is not a turist trap, it is a genuinely good local dish at a fair price. The schedule is long enough to make it a relaxed trip without becoming boring. The communication with the group was clear and timely. I am not much of a tour person, but this one was definitely worth it.

I enjoyed my trip. It’s a must-visit and a nice, relaxing way to end a Seoul trip. The tour guide One, was informative, polite, and easy to deal with.

Dacid, the guide, was kind and engaging. He even helped us during lunch, explaining the issues of celiac disease to the restaurant owners and making sure everything was prepared properly.

My favorite day from Korea out of 28 days there. Nami Island and Garden of Morning Calm are truly breathtaking. Especially after staying in busy areas of Seoul, a reprieve in nature was definitely needed. The garden feels like a day trip in Europe with the mountains surrounding and fields of green and flowers. Nami Island felt like being in another world, with bunnies and peacocks roaming free. We even saw an albino rabbit, which was such a treasure to see in the wild. I need to give a special shoutout to our tour guide Jonathan. On our way there, Jonathan basically gave us a bus tour through Seoul. He pointed out where members of BTS/Blackpink lived and told us the history of a few areas surrounding the Han river. For lunch, he took us to a restaurant with Korean raised chickens rather than flown in. It was amazing! Jonathan also talked about parts of his upbringing and truly brought a tear to my eye with his perspective and clear determination to make South Korea an amazing country. I will never forget this day and some of the things Jonathan shared with us. Truly a tour that will live in my head and heart for years to come. Book this tour, you won't regret it!

This was an amazing experience. It was hot but shaddy lanes in both places protected us from the heat. The garden and Nami island are so beatiful. Hakim has been an excellent guide, very natural, kind and caring. He helped us to quickly rebook zipline tickets to later time slot. He showed us pretty places on Nami and explained its history. He took us to delicious barbecue. He speaks perfect Chinese and very good English. He is a great driver, too. If I could assingn six stars for this trip, I would definitely do that.

What a fabulous day trip. I got lost and didn't make it to the meet up point at the beginning of the day. Our guide had me cab to a spot & all was good. His accommodating attitude made it happen. Our 3 stops were fabulous. The garden was stunning, the lunch was very tasty and Nami Island was very cute. All in all a great, even tho it was hot, day. Thank you for the experience.

I was looking for these specific tours: Garden of the Morning Calm and Nami Island. Lucia, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and can clearly communicate in English. The lunch she recommended was so delicious. We recommend this tour and would like to have Lucia again as our guide.

Nami Island was a beautiful destination! Very magical and like being on a fairytale destination for hours. The morning calm Garden was also very lovely. I saw things growing there that I’ve never seen before like the thousand year-old tree, very cool! Our guide, JG, made the entire tour very entertaining and very informative. It was a great day!

It was a swift tour, our guide Martin explained everything beforehand. Garden of Morning Calm was extraordinary. Nami Island was also very peaceful. I would recommend this tour to people who loves calm, nature and flowers.

Good tour... Would have liked more time at Garden of Morning Calm. If I were to book again, I'd skip the France and Italy stops. The tour operator was ok, but two things were annoying. First, the tour was in English and Chinese instead of just English, which meant everything was repeated. Second, we had to use a weird group chat filled with ads. I assume this was because the Chinese could not use WhatsApp.

Traffic can add hours to the trip. Be prepared. Tour guide was resourceful in mitigating delays caused by traffic. Worth the effort, wonderful gardens

Tour is OK, but nothing spetial to see, espetially the Nami island was under my expectations. The Garden of morning calm is nice.

Korea’s natural beauty is absolutely breathtaking — from lush green mountains to the serene waterways around the Garden of Morning Calm and Nami Island, every view felt like a postcard come to life. Zip-lining into Nami Island was such a thrill, soaring over the river with the wind rushing past and the trees spreading out below. The speedboat ride added even more excitement — fast, fun, and unforgettable! Sampling all the different local snacks was another highlight — each one delicious and full of unique Korean flavors. A huge thank-you to our guide, June, for being so friendly, informative, and making the whole experience even more special. And special appreciation to our bus driver, who navigated the busy Saturday traffic with such care and patience. It was an incredible day — adventure, culture, and nature all perfectly combined!

The Garden of Morning Calm and Nami Island are both beautiful. Both were very, very busy on a beautiful spring day, but that was entirely manageable. The tour delivered good length stays at both locations. However, I did find it annoying that the guide was pushing people to eat at one specific chicken place outside of Nami Ialand when there were so many choices on the island. Why delay arrival? A kick back? In any case, I ignored that advice and took the zip line option to the island, which was super fun. Good trip overall

The garden and Nami Island were very nice. However, our guide Reece was nearly impossible to understand in English and the air conditioning on the bus was not working. We were glad to get off as soon as possible and take the train the rest of the way back to our hotel.

Reese was very helpful and fun. The trip went smoothly for us. Recommended this tour package for anyone who find it difficult to find their own way to Nami Island and Garden of Morning Calm
