Our day with hera was amazing! she was very, very sweet and kind. First she took to all the great places including: food, shopping and the traditional markets. She also took us to temples and the castle where I dressed in a Traditional Hanpok. The time that we had was only one day/ 10 hours with her, but we got to do a lot in one day. She did a amazing job at transporting us even though the places we went to were a course crowded she did such a great job, keeping us all together and guiding us. This also includes translating the language!! She took us on a private luxury car that was very comfy. I would definitely recommend her for bookings. thank you so much, hera🤍🤍

We had an amazing tour with Jung! She was so much fun, incredibly knowledgeable, and truly an expert on Seoul. She made the entire experience engaging, enjoyable, and memorable. We learned so much about the city and felt like we were exploring Seoul with a friend. Highly recommend Jung for anyone visiting Seoul!
We had an amazing time exploring Seoul with Christine as our guide and her husband Young as our driver. Christine was incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and she explained every place we visited perfectly, giving us a much deeper understanding of the city and its history. She also took us to a beautiful restaurant where we had delicious bibimbap, which made the experience even more special. We truly enjoyed every moment of our Seoul tour and would highly recommend Christine and Young to anyone visiting the city. They made our day unforgettable! 🇰🇷❤️
Our guide Song was outstanding. I can’t say enough good things about her. Her knowledge was great, I’m a history nerd and she gave me such valuable information about the palace, and what all the monuments represented. In addition to that, she helped us get into our traditional hanbok to prepare for the visit to the palace. The knowledge that she possessed made what could have been an otherwise simple tour, quite extraordinary. She explained about kings of the palace and how each house was built and what it represented as it pertains to the rulers relationship with the universe. We learned about the influence of Confucianism and Buddhism in ancient Korean society. We witnessed the changing of the guard and afterwards she explained about that ceremony. We went to the small traditional village, Namsam tower, she told us about the significance of the four small four pillars and how they were used in ancient Korean society to inform the king’s military about impending invasions, we also had an exquisite lunch at the market. The food was so good and filling. She explained what each dish was. As we went around the market she also explained the significance of each food staple for the Korean diet, and how it’s stored in the winter for times when there is no harvest. We visited the Buddhist temple along with her wonderful explanation of it. It was a full day. Having her as our guide was perfect.
We had an excellent tour led by Joey. We started at the Changdeokogung palace and had many other memorable stops throughout the day, including a Buddhist temple, an amazing market, delicious Korean BBQ lunch, a Korean folklife museum, coffee stop on a scenic highpoint overlooking the city, etc. Joey is very knowledgeable about Seoul and all things Korean. Could not have been a better tour. A great way to spend our first full day in Korea! Our van was very comfortable and the driver did a great job of navigating through traffic, dropping us off and picking us up to minimize unnecessary walking and save time.
We had such a wonderful experience on our private Seoul city tour, and so much of that is thanks to our guide, Jun. From the very start, everything was seamless. Jun reached out the night before to confirm all the details, which immediately gave us confidence that we were in great hands. The next day, he arrived right on time to pick us up from our hotel, and the private van was spotless, comfortable, and perfect for a full day of exploring. What really stood out was how personalized the experience felt. We had a few must-see spots on our list, and Jun took the time to talk through additional options with us, helping shape a day that felt tailored specifically to our interests. Throughout the tour, he shared insightful information about each area we visited, along with broader context about Seoul’s culture, history, and daily life. Jun is incredibly knowledgeable, but also very approachable and easy to spend the day with which made the experience even more enjoyable. It never felt rushed or overly scripted; instead, it felt like exploring the city with someone who genuinely loves sharing it with others. We truly had an amazing day discovering Seoul and would highly recommend this tour especially with Jun. It was one of the highlights of our trip!
Jiwon was absolutely amazing!!! He was so knowledgeable and accommodating. He was fun, friendly, and the absolute best tour guide ever! Will definitely request him when we come back.

Hera was so very lovely. She was very knowledgeable about the places we visited and also suggested some great alternative places to see. We had a mix of modern and historic stops and really enjoyed them all. Would thoroughly recommend a days sightseeing g with Hera. She also navigated the traffic perfectly !

It was our family's first time visiting Seoul and we booked four days of Private Tours with Here Korea Travel. Two of those days were with our English speaking tour guide named Vincent. He was our tour guide on our Private Seoul Highlight Tour and our Private Customizable Tour to Alpaca World, Nami Island, and Strawberry Picking. Our two days with Vincent were perfect. He met our party of 12 in the lobby of our hotel on time and had our private bus and driver, Mr. O, waiting for us. Once on the bus he would tell us the itinerary for the day and was so friendly, funny, and kind. Our tour days with him went smoothly and we were able to go everywhere we had to go and even had time for some extra stops. Vincent went above and beyond to make our days with him amazing. An example of how he would go above and beyond is how he had our driver drop us off right at the entrance of Gyeongbokgung Palace. Then we walked through the Palace grounds, which is quite big. When we got to the other end of the Palace grounds, we assumed we had to walk all the way back to the entrance. But to our surprise, he said Mr. O was on his way to meet us right where we were. Vincent was always one step ahead and knew exactly how to give us the VIP treatment. He would also always let us know whether we should leave our bags or jackets in the bus when we got to the different destinations. And he always assured us our belongings were safe in the bus with Mr. O watching them. He also knew the best picture taking spots and he was a professional photographer as well. He always knew the best angles and lighting for the perfect picture. Our 2 days with Vincent were like being on a tour with a friend of the family. He learned all of our names and the kids in our group (between the ages of 13-24) became so attached to him that they couldn’t stop talking about him for weeks after our trip. If you want a tour company that is reliable and trustworthy, do not hesitate to book your tour with Here Korea Travel. And if you are lucky, maybe Vincent will be your tour guide!
I highly recommend using this tour company! And a huge shout out to our tour guide Vincent! My wife and I did a private tour with him for 3 days in Seoul, including a pick up from the Incheon airport. Vincent was incredibly resourceful in choosing fun and unique destinations, spoke impeccable English, and offered great conversation and lunch recommendations throughout our travels. It’s one thing to see Seoul (and the rest of South Korea), but our vacation was made so much better by having both the company and tour guide handle most of the logistics. We also learned a lot more with Vincent guiding us, as he offered a lot of context to each of our experiences. The destinations we saw were breathtaking, educational, exhilarating, and everything in between. If you’re planning to visit South Korea, do yourself a favor and pick out one of the many tours this company offers.
Highly recommended! We had a long layover at the Incheon airport, so we decided to have a private tour so that we can customized to our trip, take our time to places that interests us. Vincent was awesome, he took us to the heart of Seoul. He took us to places and recommended what to do and what not to do. Short trip was trip was short and tiring but it was awesome. Will definitely go back for longer stay and will hire Vincent again! Tips if you have a long layover: Before your trip, you'll need to get K-ETA fillout online and be approved 72 hours before your arrival. Once you arrive, you will need to talk to your airline crew or the ticketing office (located at transfer area near gate 26) to get your boarding pass stamped. Then walked to the security area, where you will show the security personnel your boading pass and passport. After security, they'll show you the way to the immigration. Once approved, you are free to go out. (By the way, don't forget to fill out the arrival declaration form. This is given by the airlines before plane arrival)
It was an amazing experience. Our Christine guide knows every detail of Korean history and fills your tour with very interesting facts. Besides Christine is always attentive to take the best pictures!
