Great stay at the hotel. Apart from a couple of straight-faced unsmiley reception staff, overall was satisfactory and quite pleasant. I would recommend my friends to stay here. One suggestion is to keep the gym open till 11pm instead of 10pm, which is too early to close. Great gym though, lots of different gym equipment but most importantly, they are kept really clean and hygienic. Staff makes a mindful attempt to clean each cardio machine after a guest's usage. Nice!

We commenced our holiday in Seoul and stayed for 2 nights at the Lotte Hotel. The hotel itself was luxurious with a beautiful shopping centre and many restaurants. The lobby was grande and staff were incredibly welcoming and professional. The hotel was perfectly situated to explore Seoul on foot. Easy taxi service to and from the station. Public transport is also easily accessible. We booked the grand superior room which was adequate for the start of our trip. The room was nicely presented, the bed comfortable and the amenities ample. The room cost was quite expensive when compared to the other luxury hotels we stayed in Tokyo - a luxury junior suite with club access was cheaper than a superior double at this hotel. We dined at the buffet restaurant within the hotel complex. The selection of food was ample, the service was great and the food was delicious.
I was visiting Seoul as a short extension I took after a conference at Jeju island, so I was basically alone in the city. The hotel is really great and very clean, and the location is really excellent: A large train station is right below the hotel, it's 5 minutes walking from the Myeongdong food market / shopping region. If you're into shopping there is a huge department store which is part of the hotel, where you can find all the leading brands. I would say the prices there are typical, but I think considering it's convenient and they do the tax refund and sometimes they have another small discount, then it's OK. Another thing I really liked there is the food court at the lower level of the department store. There is a great selection of, I don't want to say "fast food" because it will make it injustice, but I would say that everyone can find there something to eat and the prices are good. Also, from at least what I tried, I was impressed that the quality is really good (The Mexican, the Japanese Shabu-Shabu and the Bakery with the great pastries). Other than that, there are some fine restaurants inside the hotel, and also from what I heard a nice bar, but I didn't try any of them. I do can say that the prices in the hotel itself are quite expensive. For example, If I remember correctly a Cappuccinu at the lobby was about 19,000 KRW, but you can have it also in the food court I just mentioned, as long as it is before 20:30 if I am not mistaken (and of course you can get it 2 minutes walking from outside of the hotel...) One last comment: I did use the help of the staff here and there, and the service is really helpful and pleasant.
I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I was traveling with 2 kids. The location is impressive! I took airbus from the airport directly to the front door of the hotel. It located on the top of the department store, which makes shopping and eating very easily. The hotel breakfast is super amazing. However, the Menu is very similar everyday. The room is super big too! The quality of the mattress is good too. The customer service is top notch for the executive towel guests. For me, I definitely feel that the hotel provides much better value than the price of the room.
An unforgettable luxury stay in Seoul – Exceptional service! Lotte Hotel Seoul is a stunning luxury hotel. The property is beautifully designed, and our room was incredibly spacious and spotlessly clean. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Myeongdong, making it super easy to walk to almost every major attraction in the city. What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is their incredible service. We had a minor issue with the bathtub, and without us even asking, they immediately upgraded us to a higher-room category. They apologized sincerely and kept checking in on us throughout our stay to make sure everything was perfect. This is truly going above and beyond. We also dined at Pierre Gagnaire (the hotel's 3-Michelin-starred restaurant), and it was an absolute masterpiece. Every single dish was better than the last, and the amount of desserts at the end was just mind-blowing. It’s definitely pricey, but absolutely worth it. Every single staff member – from the front desk and concierge to the security team – was incredibly polite and always ready to help with a smile. I highly recommend Lotte Hotel Seoul and will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Seoul!
