Sollago Myeongdong Hotel & Residence

Great location, at Chungmuro which is a short walk to Myeongdong shopping street. Room is small but fully equipped with pantry, washing machine, bath robes and balcony. The check-in process is via the machine. You will get the code to enter the room. The building also has GS25, the convenient store. And the airport bus station is also nearby. But the down side, cleaning service is not free and it is not provided daily. You can deposit the luggage in the locker (with small fee).

Amazing location, brand-new hotel, brand-new rooms , cozy Cafe and bars below the hotel , 10 minutes, walking to the main market - Overall, very good budget hotel - there is no oven in the room and the gas does not work , Washing machine is only to wash the clothes, but does not have a dryer

Arrived early morning (5am) after a red-eye flight and was refused an early checkin even though there were persons checking out that time because room cleaning only takes place at 9am. Early checkin will not be allowed until maybe two hours after that time. Staff was a bit rude in delivering the refusal. Good thing the cafe opened by 8am. If you have a similar flight schedule, I suggest either booking even the night prior to your arrival date or booking an evening at the airport hotel upon arrival so you have a place to stay rest a while before checking in here. Room was decent though and the location is great if you plan on exploring Myeongdong area, N Seoul Tower, and neighboring spots.

The apartment has a good fridge and cooktop, however, NO COOKWARE, not even a single spoon is available. The aircon looked new and it was constantly dripping oil from the ceiling. Our room on level 8 had a strong sewage smell.
