This was my second stay at the hotel, and both visits were wonderful experiences. I especially want to thank Chloe at the front desk for her warm and thoughtful service. During my first stay, Chloe kindly introduced us to the hotel membership and its benefits. She was very patient and helpful, which gave us a great first impression of the hotel. Because of that positive experience, I later recommended the hotel to a friend, who also chose to stay here during a solo trip. It was lovely to see Chloe again during my second visit. Just like the first time, she was friendly, attentive, and always willing to help whenever we had questions or needed assistance. Her genuine kindness and thoughtful service made both stays feel very comfortable and welcoming. Experiences like this are the reason this hotel has become one of my first choices whenever I visit Korea. Thank you, Chloe, for making both of our stays so enjoyable! 😊

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Chloe. I really appreciate all her help during my stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. There are also plenty of convenient options nearby, including convenience stores, MEGA Coffee, A Twosome Place, and a Lotteria right across the street. The location is very convenient as well. It’s only about a 10-minute ride to Myeongdong and around 15 minutes to Hongdae. Overall, I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay!

I recently stayed at Shilla Stay during my trip to Seoul and had such a great experience. The lady working at the front desk, Min Chae Kim, offered us so much help and showed us exceptional hospitality. My dad and I found ourselves asking her for so much assistance that she essentially made Seoul a 5-star experience! The location was also exceptional, being right next to an alley with a great variety of food and very close to the subway station. I highly recommend giving this hotel a visit if you’re planning to visit Seoul!

The Shilla stay are running on the same if not identical layouts and interior for all of their - Shilla stay - brand. This creates a sense of "comfort" knowing what you go to when booking a room with Shilla. The locations of the Shilla stay properties are often very good, and this property right next to Seodaemun subway is no exception. You can literally walk to the main areas of Myeongdong, Namdaemun and Gwangwhamun. However, if you know what you get in terms of rooms and interior then maintaining the rooms properly is crucial. Especially when rooms can soar to over 200 000 won per night. This is where Shilla really needs to improve. I've stayed at numerous Shilla stay hotels, and many have worn out and less then well maintained rooms and public areas. Service level is very spontaneous. My booking was prepayed in full, even so the staff asked me how I wished to pay. Offering no apologies after her mistake. This is standing out more and more after several stays at Shilla stay hotels. On a positive note, the bed is in my view comfortable. It was quiet and I had a good night's sleep, just what I wanted and needed. It was also an unexpected stay, so I was happy they had available room, although I find it way overpriced. I was fortunate to also get a pretty nice view from my room.
