Very disappointing and nowhere near a four star hotel I am extremely disappointed with my stay at Pacific Hotel. The hotel presents itself as a four star property, but the condition of the rooms and the level of service were far below that standard. The first room we were given was old, mouldy, and not properly cleaned. To his credit, the night manager was helpful and moved us to another room. Unfortunately, that was the only positive part of our entire stay. Although the second room was in somewhat better condition, it was still poorly designed and badly maintained. The sliding glass bathroom door was coming off its track, which felt unsafe, and the wooden furniture was peeling and damaged. The worst part of the experience was the older woman working at the front desk. Her attitude and behaviour toward us were genuinely horrible and made us feel extremely unwelcome. The hotel also appears to use reducing plastic waste as an excuse to provide almost no amenities. We were only given shampoo and body wash, even though toiletries were specifically promised on the booking page. This felt more like cost cutting than a meaningful environmental policy. Finally, there was an Israeli flag displayed at the entrance of the hotel, something I unfortunately only noticed after booking. This is something I personally would have wanted to know beforehand, as it would have affected my decision to stay here. Overall, this hotel does not provide the quality, maintenance, amenities, or hospitality expected from a four star property. I would not stay here again.

Location was amazing as its literally in the middle of Myeongdong. Train station is just outside the hotel, food, shops, clinics, salon and a walk away from seoul tower cable car. We enjoyed our stay as we were given the front view.Multiple convenience stores just right outside. Laundry was expensive though.
I stayed here for 4 nights during my visit to Seoul and it's in a fantastic location next to Myeongdong station and near a huge amount of shops, restaurants and cafe's. Can't fault this. The rooms itself were nice but were a bit dirty with a few hairs and some dust. The bath was very small too (not built for taller people). Otherwise I slept very well and the beds are comfy. The breakfast was quite good and a good variety. I'd stay here again, but cleanliness let my stay down a little bit.
I could give 10 stats for everything. Hotel is in the center of everything, walking distance, just 3 mins from Myeongdong Market,13 mins walk from Namdaemon Market and even the City Hall was walkable. 9 minutes walk from Namsan tower. Room was clean. We love everything about our room. Beds, housekeeping and bathroom. Everyone(hotel staffs) was very helpful and friendly. Olive young stores are everywhere.
The hotel’s location is excellent, and unfortunately that is the only positive thing I can say about this place. Out of all the hotels we stayed at during our trip to Korea, this one was by far the biggest disappointment. We were three people and had booked two rooms. We were placed in rooms with no view at all. The windows faced what looked like a small inner courtyard, other rooms directly across from us, and even part of the hotel corridor. As a result, we had to keep the blackout curtains closed the entire time to maintain any sense of privacy, which meant staying with the lights on constantly. Even with the curtains slightly open, there was almost no natural light. On the first night, we noticed that the bed would shake whenever we moved. We were too tired to deal with reception that evening, so we spoke to the staff the following morning instead. The man we talked to seemed completely uninterested in helping. He mentioned that housekeeping would check the beds. Unsurprisingly, when we returned late that evening, nothing had changed. The next morning, I lifted the sheets to inspect the beds myself and realized that we had actually been placed in a twin room instead of the king room we had booked. Already extremely frustrated, we went back to reception once again. I asked to speak with the woman who had checked us in. From the moment we arrived, her attitude had been arrogant and unpleasant. This time, it was obvious that she realized she had gone too far, and she offered to move us to another room while pretending she had no idea what kind of room we had originally been given. We refused to change rooms since it was already our last day at the hotel, and we preferred to spend our remaining time exploring the city rather than packing and moving again. Her response was simply: “Sorry,” said with a smile. I want to make it clear that a simple apology is not enough when you have ruined the final part of someone’s stay in Korea. We paid for two rooms with large beds, but were placed in twin rooms with no view, at the very end of a corridor. It was obvious — just like everywhere else we stayed — that the hotel was not fully booked. They could easily have given us the rooms we had actually paid for. Apparently, however, the staff simply did not like us, and that is why we ended up with the worst rooms. I would not recommend this hotel. If you still decide to stay there because the location suits your plans, make sure to carefully check the rooms you are assigned to, otherwise you may end up in the same situation we did. The only people who were kind and professional were the younger members of the reception staff. As for the more experienced employees mentioned above, I honestly do not understand why they work in hospitality.
